I made a comment about how the menu is now a QR code, and Jorge pointed out the newer items, such as egg rolls, hashbrown, and fried squid. We also ordered two draft beers ($7/ pint). Jorge took our meat order and we started off with beef belly, thin pork belly and marinated pork skirt meat. The food arrived on a robot which was really fun. (Don't forget to hit the Done button to send the robot back home!). I also ordered the fried squid. I found the beef belly to be perfectly fatty, and it crisped up really well. My favorite has been the marinated pork skirt meet for a while now. The marinade is a little sweet, and the pork tasted great too. I tried the fried squid legs and there was a lot more fried, and less squid legs. However, the batter was pretty tasty! We ordered a few repeat meats, and Jorge was efficient with the grill changes. The last thing I ordered was the tofu soup. I don't want to say it was too spicy, but it definitely had a kick that left me coughing. I wish that we could pick the spice level, maybe next time I will ask to see if it's possible to get less spice. This is my favorite KBBQ spot in SCV. The staff is always friendly and efficient.
