BEWARE of spending your money here. they will REFUSE to give a refund. i really loved this business but this'll be the last time i'm going there. i called in a big order for valentine's day because i knew they were busy so we would eat it at home. i always call in so they don't have the delivery services take profit id rather the business to. we went out picked up the order.we were busy and i didn't get to eat till later. but when i opened my meal the order was wrong. i ordered the deck cadets meal with lobster crab and shrimp. the only thing in there was shrimp. and i'm not paying 100+ for just shrimp. they were already closed but i tried calling in to see if they would answer and they did. i'm always polite and explained the situation i understand they were busy cause of valentine's day . but the "manager" was extremely rude. they kept saying i was at fault. and confusing my order. thinking i ordered it online. it's like the guy was even trying to listen to me. i had to explain what happened 4x. at that point i didn't want to come there again cause of the way he was speaking to me. i kept asking him just talk to me normally you don't have to be rude, im a person your a person there's no need for this. and when he put the phone down i could hear him talking about me to someone else in spanish in the background. so unprofessional. i understand i called late i wasn't expecting for them to remake it today and i made that clear. i told him id bring in the bag it was just a bag full of just shrimp. and i was initially willing to wait for them to remake it but i didn't want the food anymore after the way i was treated. he actually said it's your fault. i said it's my fault??!! and he said YES. this isn't my fault the order should've been correct in the first place. i trusted them to get the order right. i understand it was a busy day but it's not my fault you guys messed up the order. and when i asked for a refund he didn't want to give it to me. like why would i want to eat there after the way you spoke to me. ruined my valentine's day, great thanks. and i always loved coming here for crab boil ordering for me and my friends and family. but not after today. update: i spoke to the "manager" again. he apologized for the way he spoke to me. when i brought up him blaming me he tried to deny it. he's giving me excuses for not providing a refund. that the owner isn't replying and he's in san diego. it doesn't matter who's where ANY buisness CAN give refunds especially when they completely messed up the order. he just wants to remake it, but why would i want to go back. they haven't contacted me again and i left a message. At this point I'll just have to dispute the charge to my bank. i held off giving a review because i never do. but just be careful spending your money here and check your order before you leave. read more

This was our first time here. We ordered one of the family shareable options. It included shrimp, lobster, crab legs, sausage, corn and potatoes. It did not disappoint! We ate every bit of what we ordered and it was smothered in the Daddy sauce. What set this place apart is the employee Logan! When I called to see what time they closed he was so welcoming! Once we got to the establishment and walked in Logan greeted us very kindly. He made the experience even more worthwhile with his conversation and kindness! The environment is cute and quaint. The person taking our order forgot our rice and potatoes and didn't seem to care that they had forgotten either. Then we were told they could get the rice but we'd have to wait 15 min. I'm a big hot n juicy fan and I can never find a seafood boil that compares in flavor, but the boil daddy was delicious and honestly their flavors were even better. We ordered snow crab, mussels, sausage, wings and fries. My husband requested extra crispy wings and they actually made them per request. The flavors of the wings were good especially the soy garlic. We got the daddy sauce for the seafood it was very flavorful. They weren't stingy with the sauce either. And to top it all off the lady at the counter was sooo kind, she gave us tablecloths and gloves so we didn't make our hotel room a disaster LOL. Ok, so this review is for their current state - in a soft opening. If they were fully open, my review may be slightly different. We got the Shrimp bowl (comes with rice, sausage and potatoes) and a Shrimp po boy with the cajun fries Everything tasted really good, and the place smells fantastic. Seafood was fresh and cooked perfectly. Service was friendly and helpful too. They are still about a month away from opening so the place isn't decorated yet, and they appear to be working out some other minor things. We have a few suggestions...the bowl had way way too much of the sauce in it (maybe service it with less but then offer extra if someone wants it?). The po' boy bread to filling was a bit off (good fillings but the bread is too big). The cajun fries were good but too lightly seasoned. All of these are minor and won't stop us from going again.
