Lemon pepper wings. Weird chicken texture and made my stomach hurt afterward.
    Lauren A.

Okay, so let's start with the fact that the restaurant is advertised to be Cajun/creole, however the employees are Asian. The restaurant smelled sort of weird when I walked in. It didn't smell like creole. Ok so here we go. I ordered the lemon pepper wings and they were good at first, however I bite into one of them and the texture was completely off. It turned me off from eating them, and soon thereafter my stomach started to hurt. I also order the Cajun oysters and they were dirty. See the pictures. I had to get a refund because I simply refuse. When I went back to get a refund the lady working there said that the oysters were "fresh", I said I understand that however, they are dirty. She then gave me a refund. The service was also kind of slow. I gave 2 stars because they were nice. Overall, I was extremely underwhelmed with my experience and disappointed because I really had my mind set on eating some oysters. I wouldn't recommend.

This has always been our go to ramen spot! Great place and atmosphere especially for introverts that wants to enjoy their food without the hassle of someone that keeps coming and asking how good your food is. Picture shown is tonkatsu and miso ramen with crawfish boil!

Seafood Ramen and Shrimp Lunch, Cajun, with potato and corn

We were randomly in this little town and starving, and when I saw the name of the restaurant, I knew we had to go. I'm glad we did, because it's the best restaurant meal I've had in a long time. The shrimp lunch was amazingly flavorful and the shrimp cooked perfectly, and the ramen was flavorful and full of seafood. The portions are generous and the service was lovely and fast. I wish we we were local so I could eat here again.

Lobster ramen, fried wonton, sorry i ate one!

The ramen is top tier. The service is always good. I come here every week. Zero complaints. Best ramen I've had!

The food is always amazing when we come here! We get the Boil and always eat until we are sick definitely recommend!

Value priced for the amt. of food you get with the Ramen. I'll try it again. I had the extra spicy shrimp ramen and it was definitely spicy.

A bit pricey, but great service and food. An unassuming little place tucked away in an older shopping center. A must try.

Good authentic oriental Ramen like Japan but with a slight southern twist. We save the broth to make a second batch at home.

The following review: Service - An employee by the name of Colin, who helped me at the register and take my order was very friendly, welcoming, and very patient with me. He was able to explain things to me on the menu while I was trying to decide on things. Food - I ordered, a bowl of rice, gyoza, chicken karaage, a tonkatsu ramen with char siu. Everything was well cooked, tasted great, the gyoza and chicken was nice hot and crispy. Ambiance - I'm not really an anime person but I appreciate the overall idea and concept. I thought it was pretty cool with the Batman at the front and Pokemon cards for sale.

Verenice was the BEST! Give that girl a raise or a promotion! She was doing it all! From taking orders, bringing food out, and cleaning up tables! She helped us navigate the menu/ordering. She also brought out our food to the table and was so helpful during our first time here. There were lots of ramen options to choose from. You choose your broth and meat option and that tells you your price. You can add extra toppings for additional costs. Runs about less than $20 a person. They have fountain drink options as well as other Asian drinks. They have rice bowl options as well as meat on a stick. They don't have kids meal options but it's about $8 for noodles and broth. Which is a good option for kids. I ordered shoyu broth for my son. I didn't realize it would taste so salty. I understand it's a soy sauce broth. But most ramen broths I've had isn't to that degree. I asked if they could add hot water to the hot water to make it less salty. Verenice again was so helpful, she brought the ramen back out and said if I needed more water added to just ask. I will say I did not appreciate the additional comments from some of the kitchen staff. The place is decorated with lots of anime characters. They have a vending machine with goodies. A claw machine with stuffed animals and lots of Pokémon cards for sale.

Service, though busy, was very attentive. Just a quick wave of the hand and they were in motion. Very professional and represented their establishment well. The in table grill was not the best I've seen, I prefer a mesh grate that allows more of the flame to directly touch the meat, but it worked well enough once we cranked up the heat to get some caramelization. My coworker had never had KB so we went simple with the Bulgagi beef and pork. The beef was very good, but the pork was outstanding. Both were expertly prepped in paper thin, small slices just big enough to make them easy to cook but not so big you spent a lot of time with the scissors. Wonderfully seasoned, these two items alone would make a destination menu. Broth cabbage and cucumber kimchi were on point, well spiced and the perfect textures. Daikon radish was very good as well, crisp and the perfect balance between sweet and sour. Well worth the price, excellent quality and flavors, very good service....you won't be sorry you chose Bewon.

I always get the Spicy Lemongrass Noodles (baseline usually not very spicy- you can add table side spices to your liking). They vary a little year to year but I always enjoy them. Cold air inside, waters stayed full, but it can be fairly noisy depending who you're sat next to and how busy the place is. Tables can be a bit tight for a couple as you'll only get a 2 top (they get busy and need to save the larger tables for bigger parties). We were able to order before the 10 top next to us, so our food came out super fast! (Yay!!) Could use two bathrooms though, the one they have is large but when they are packed it can be quite a wait. Lots of metered street parking on Broughton and nearby streets. We'll be back again!

Makes it fun to try dishes from different locations, especially for those unfamiliar with Asian cuisine. Very pricey menu. Pad Thai 2.5/5 could have had way more flavor and had zero spice, and they didn't ask if we wanted a spice level at all. Flavor came out once chili sauce was added. Red spicy noodles were spicy and yummy! 5 spice BBQ pork plate was super flavorful, loved this dish! Lychee sake martini just tasted like lychee juice which was great. They also add in 2 lychees to eat/garnish! A good spot, nothing to write home about. Probably wouldn't come back, there was nothing wrong with the place, just nothing exceptional.
