This is the go to spot for Taiwanese boiling pot. They used to have 2 locations I. The same center but only the non reservation location still remains. I have been coming here for years and decided its time I reviewed the place. Be warned if you go on a cold or rainy night there will be a wait. Usually 30-40 minutes around dinner time. Lunch and dinner basically have the same menu but you get a black or green tea drink with lunch included. When here I always get the Taiwanese bowl which only comes in super spicy. If you can't eat spicy you're out of luck but in my opinion this is the best bowl here. The broth is spicy and flavorful. All the ingredients other than the intestines, which I don't care for, are well portioned and delicious. Lately they've been skimping out on the usual ingredients. For those that have bee. Coming here for years you'll notice that 1-2 ingredients are now missing. This has occurred on the last 2 visits so this isn't a fluke. Pro tips; Definitely make a dipping sauce. You won't regret it Order extra Napa if you are in a group of 2 or more Get an extra round of noodles or ramen if you're hungry. Update 4/8/25 Came here for lunch with my father and boy has this place gone down hill. First off they placed the check in kiosk between the benches so that if it's crowded you can't even see it. Staff aren't even at the front desk to direct people to it. Even after getting seated there are no physical menus and shitty cell reception so you can't pull up their menu after clicking past all the annoying ads. The guest wifi they offer doesn't even work so good luck if you're new to the place. It took over 15 minutes to order, to top it off they took the orders of 4 other parties that were sat after us before taking our order for 2. They use robots to deliver the food to the tables but I watched as our food sat in front of our table for well over 15 minutes before anyone came by to deliver food. They eventually delivered the food to the table next to us then clicking on the machine and walked away and I watched as the robot moved 2 feet to the other side of our table because our food was on the same robot. The tall skinny Asian with the curly hair in the back is a fucking idiot, didn't even bother looking at the other order on the cart. Took another 10 minutes for our food to be placed on our table. The food here is supposed to come out piping hot and kept that way but our food was cold and we had to wait for our broth to warm up again. For lunch you get a free tea. We got our drinks but didn't get straws. I sat there for 10 minutes trying to get the waiters attention for straws. The icing on the cake was another group come in and I saw them order and wait 30-40 minutes for their food to come and watched as other parties after them get thier food. They finally gave up and left. I doubt I will be back if the service doesn't improve. It's a shame this used to be one of my favorite spots. read more

First off, you can't place a phone order like before. I called 4 times and no one answered for lunch time. Also, you can't even place an online order through the BP website at this location. I tried to order two soups and I got declined? See the image attached. Next, I tried their only other option to online order through DoorDash but I noticed THEY UPCHARGE THE PRICE OF EACH SOUP BY $4? Somehow when we were there they only had water to drink. I asked for a hot tea but they only had cold water, odd. The ambiance was a nice cafeteria vibe. The waitresses were nice but almost impossible to get their attention to refill the water or bring the forgetting rice and noodles. I'd definitely go back again. I joined the waitlist, got the text confirmation, waited 30 minutes. People who came after me got sat first. When we went to go ask if our table is ready soon, they said we just joined the waitlist. For the price and the amount of food we can get, it is a nice place for dates or hangouts for dinner. They give a lot of protein. I do think you get your money worth. We didn't wait long. Haven't been to a boiling point in years and found this one nearby! The plaza is going through construction but don't be alarmed, there is still parking and the restaurant itself is not going through construction. Didn't have to wait too long for a table for two and maybe the construction outside deters some people? Haha I got the lamb hot pot which is packed full with mushrooms, tofu, fishcake, vermicelli, pickled mustard greens, blood cubes, and has a poached egg. I forgot that it already includes some vermicelli inside and asked for vermicelli instead of rice. So I would recommend the rice on the side instead but was funny to receive a little prepackaged vermicelli. Guess they sell their own line of products! Im also not sure for how long this is going on for, but it's bogo teas! I loveee their old time delight milk tea. It does have to both be the safe drink FYI. And you can add on boba additionally. Always a decent spot for some chilly weather food. I do always dislike how shallow their pan is and that I need to ask for the fire to be turned off half way because it's too much. Boiling Point is always a satisfying dinner option. Went in on a Saturday night around 8:30PM and the wait was about 45ish minutes. When we went in to check our place in line, it seems like they stopped taking new customers likely due to how busy they are. We usually order the beef hotpot with medium spice and it comes with a lot of toppings like napa cabbage, mushrooms, and fish cakes. They offer a variety of sauces at the table that taste so good to dip the meat and veggies in or to add a bit on top of some rice. The green tea here is one of my favorites given that it's sweet and refreshing and pairs well after eating hotpot. If you come here during weekends or dinner time, you should probably be prepared to wait a bit to be seated, but food is delicious and filling regardless. read more

Boiling Point was a go to spot during my college days but it seems like this location has gone downhill since then and even compared to a year ago :( I came at 4:30 on a Sunday and was seated immediately and placed my order a few minutes after sitting down. The wait between ordering and receiving food was extremely long - I waited 30 minutes for my food to come out when it used to take 10 minutes after ordering, even during busy times. The people at the table next to me also were commenting on how the wait time for food is so long. The servers were nice and attentive, it was just a long wait for the food. Also the food doesn't taste as good anymore. They also got rid of their Hokkaido Milk Tea which was a fan favorite, so I'm confused why they got rid of it... also disappointing. The only thing that's remained consistent is that their garlic bean paste is still delicious. read more

The staff are extremely slow with service, even when there aren't many customers. The employee named Miuccia is rude and seems like she hates her job. I personally feel like there's definitely other places with the same concept but better flavors. We waited about an hour before getting seated but we did come in on a weekend so makes sense. Both were curated perfectly with fresh ingredients. The hot spice level was not too spicy for me. The mild spice level with the lamb was not as good, with a slight sour tinge to it. Nonetheless, they were tasty, filling, and slurp-worthy! We can't forget to mention the garlic pork belly. Highly recommended, it was sooo garlicky and delicious. To view the menu, you need to scan a QR code that is hanging on the side of the table on a chain. It was not sitting on the table so I was first confused on how we should be looking at a menu. Hotpot is delivered by the robot that has a cat face screen and then the employees place it on the table and light the fire under the pot. The is filled with food to the top and with the fire it stays very hot and soup evaporates. It was hard to eat quickly because it was so hot, sometime I wish I could control the level of fire. You can mix your sauces on the table. In the end it was a dry pot when the fire goes out, I'm not sure if they add water for you at this location. I appreciate the quantity of food in the pot. I have been to many different locations of boiling point, but this location has the worst and unskilled service. We waited for 1 hour with several tables opened. This is not okay. And when I asked the servers about when I will be seated, they just rudely replied me "whenever you get the text." If you are understaff I understand the situation, but no. There were lots staffs, and some of them were not even busy, just walking back and forth looking around. On top of that, my water had chili oil in it. Soup and the sauce ingredients are packed in a microwaveable box and the rest in the clear plastic containers. Please pack the instant noodles separately and not together in the microwaveable box with soup and ingredients as the noodles when arrived, too soggy. I came in with my sister to redeem her birthday reward, which was the first thing we mentioned to the server, we ordered the Taiwanese Spicy pot and a drink. The food was good, but upon checkout we ended up having a charge for the Taiwanese Spicy pot? We were honestly surprised since we thought we could choose any flavor pot and drink. It was extremely odd how it felt like it was our fault in ordering, especially when the cashier (which was also our server- we don't know her name but she was the only woman on Lunch shift) mentioned we had to pay because we ordered a large pot AND she JUST realized the reward was only meant for a small. We also didn't know there was a size restriction (or even that there were different sizes available) in order to fully redeem our reward. I gave in and offered to pay the difference between the small and large, but due to the cashier mentioning we ordered a large, we ended up paying. I tried to get clarification from both the cashier and what I assume is the manager shortly after, but they mentioned they couldn't could do anything on their end. It was a bad experience, especially when I clarified that we as customers didn't know there were restrictions to redeeming the birthday award. Yes we could've searched it up beforehand, but wouldn't the servers let the customer know what pots and sizes are qualified for the reward? I honestly wished the server admitted her mistake, as she left out some details of not knowing what the birthday reward qualified for to the manager and not offering correct options we could've chosen. It also really sucked when another customer came in to redeem their birthday reward, and another server was able to clarify for them what they could/couldn't get. Unfortunately we had a bad experience as our server was a trainee. He was not familiar with the menu and messed up our drink order. I had asked for a honey black tea and he told me no such item exists on the menu (it's the complimentary tea that they serve during lunch) - I was confused and ended up ordering something else. My friend asked for a old time delight milk tea and they ended up getting a honey black tea (the drink he told me does not exist)! 3/4 of us ended up getting our pots but our server did not light them until we asked. This place has never been the most friendly in terms of service, but during this particular meal, the wait staff was particularly disruptive - the loud banging noises combined with the clanging from the kitchen made for an unpleasant dining experience. Overall, the meal was lackluster due to the very loud and irritating noises and the plates being dropped right and left. The only salvage to this meal was a nice waiter who offered to add more broth. This is the perfect place to dine when it is cold or rainy. It truly hits the spot! The food is pretty consistent and portions are generous. The only downside is the wait. It gets so crazy here during lunch or dinner time. I have friends that waited 2 hours( that's too crazy!) My favorite is the Thai flavor and the beef flavor. My least favorite is the stinky tofu. Try at your own risk! That stuff is potent. The service is good. The servers are attentive and friendly. They used to open late hours but since Covid they closed at 10pm or so. It was tasty, I added some garlic bean paste, and that added a nice, sweet and aromatic touch... another layer of yummy. Overall there a nice mix of cabbage, noodles, a small amounts of sliced beef, and some other stuff I am not familiar with... It was a enjoyable meal. I've been to this restaurant multiple times, and the service is usually good and fast. However, my experience this past Sunday around 7:30 PM was disappointing. A tall, tan trainee was helping us, and his attitude was terrible. The restaurant forgot to bring out my spinach noodles, which I had ordered and asked to be cooked. When I reminded him, he finally brought them out--but they were uncooked. I politely asked if they could be cooked as requested, and instead of handling the situation professionally, he rolled his eyes and snatched the noodles back. Thought we've tried various items, the beef pot is our usual, as it contains all our favorites- corn, tofu, fish cake, seafood mushroom, imitation crab, soft veggies, vermicelli.. AND YUMMY MEAT. The service is pretty efficient as the robot comes around to serve you, however the workers may take a little longer to get to you during busy hours.
