I have been to multiple locations these past few years, and they used to only have various noodle dishes. However, this time we noticed some new fish hotpot dish and decided to give them a try. We got the spicy dumplings and the small fish hotpot served with white rice. They were both yummy. The fish hotpot is pretty spicy and came out burning your mouth hot, so be careful with the soup. It has fish fillets and some sliced spam with wood ear mushroom and cabbage. This dish went very well with white rice and is big enough to share between two people. The spicy dumplings is juicy and meaty on the inside. Overall, a solid dinner. The place has a typically Chinese restaurant vibe. Service was alright, we noticed the table that came after us got their noodle orders before our order was served. Maybe it takes longer to make the fish hotpot or something; I am not sure. read more

Really decent Chinese noodle place and they have a good variety of noodle dishes that are from different regions in China. Our server was very attentive and super nice. My experience here today was extremely disgusted. I came here and ordered a beef noodle soup and a peanut noodle.  At the beginning of my meal I noticed a hair in my soup and requested a new bowl. They  replaced it. The noodles were very good in the beginning until I discovered a live spider crawling. See photos. YUCK! I was shocked realizing it was a spider, and was utterly disgusted. Came in for a late lunch, and the restaurant was pretty empty. The staff seated us immediately, a very family, friendly environment. Super welcoming! We sat at the open tables and got water, ordered online using a QR code as is common in many Chinese restaurants nowadays. We ordered the Huaxi noodles, one with rice noodles and one with noodles. We also got the Taiwanese Braise Beef Noodle soup with rice noodles. We got two cold dishes and a dessert, which was the pig ears, kelp salad, and brown sugar rice cakes. The food was all very filling and satisfying. The portions are the perfect size and we ordered a side of extra rice noodles since we were extra hungry. The cold dishes are at the front and can be requested up front. The rice cakes were very tasty too! The rice noodles aren't the best quality I've had but they satisfied a craving, and especially when they are rarer to find, we were happy. Left feeling very full and recommend checking Noodology out! This place is located in a plaza with many other Asian options. You have to scan the QR code to order and that wasn't very obvious, so I'm letting you know. The atmosphere is very mom and pop with many booths. Nice and clean environment. We tried their noodles the original beef one and also the sauerkraut fish noodle, They were both really good with rich intense flavor broth, definitely on the spicy side. I like the cold dishes that you can pick out, but it's a small portion of you compare to Spicy city that also does the cold dish option. Tried their seasoning offering which was dry beef noodle but it came out to be more like sauces noodle, kind of remind me of big plate chicken styled noodles. We've visited Noodology several times. Overall, the food quality is still good and that's the main reason we keep coming back. However, there are a few issues that make the experience less enjoyable. There is no menu anymore--everything is through a QR code. Personally, I find this inconvenient because the characters on the phone are too small, making it hard to order. maybe the best taiwanese beef noodle in the area. the beef was tender, the broth was perfectly balanced, and the rice noodles were my favorite -- smooth, slippery texture. everything was perfect. also got the tripe, which was pretty good. i do have to mention though, when you first walk into the restaurant, there is this light, mildewed wet sock kind of smell that i really didnt like. i tend to be more sensitive to smell than others in my experience, but id be remiss to mention it, as it did sour the dine-in experience to a non-negligible degree. may prefer takeout for this spot. read more

I've had Noodology for takeout a few times during covid and came back after a long hiatus. It was one of my first times dining in and there were a few people inside so we were seated right away. The noodle dishes were just as good as I remember - spicy, flavorful, and filling! I love that some of the noodle dishes have roasted peanuts as a topping because it just elevates your meal, but the one I ordered had some sort of lentils instead which look almost identical to the peanuts but don't really taste like anything. I got the #13 Chengdu Hot Pot Beef Rice Noodle which was delicious but also very spicy and numbing. I had to take a few breaks eating it because of the spice but I still enjoyed it! I love rice noodle dishes and this place does not disappoint. We also ordered their spicy dumplings which could've had more chili oil, and we had to ask the server to bring us vinegar. I had ordered the Mixed with the Minced Pork Noodles and the Chengdu Zajiang Noodles (each $12.99). You have a choice of either egg or rice noodles. Portions were pretty generous for the price. Both said they were little spicy. The Zajiang noodles were just the tiniest bit spicy with a slight numbing from the peppercorns. The minced pork noodles were more spicy. They were delicious. The pig ear had a thicker oil coating than we're used to, so we probably wouldn't get it again but it was still good. The popcorn chicken came in large chunks and had fried basil. It reminded me of a better version of popcorn chicken from a boba shop since it tasted more seasoned. Could be juicer though. The intestine egg noodle surprised us in how soft the intestine was. It melted in your mouth and had a clean flavor. The soup for that bowl felt richer than the beef one we got because of the intestine. The beef rice noodle came out so quick, but that didn't compromise the quality! It came out piping hot and the rice noodles were cooked perfectly. It came with thin beef slices that were soft and mild in flavor. Overall, the food felt very comforting and had just what I look for when I'm craving a bowl of noodle soup.
