Class 302 is just a gem. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Friendly service, cute and clean interior, good number of seats optimized for the small cozy space.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We tried their oyster pancakes -- yum! -- and the cucumber salad, the matcha crème brûlée, and the oat milk tea. I love that they have an oat milk option, since I am allergic to dairy. Their boba is self-serve. We will definitely go back again, and a big thanks to the awesome staff who always work so hard.
This Class 302 location in Irvine is still here after 10+ years!!!!! (I surely do miss the OG Rowland Heights one RIP.) After a recent visit, they got an upgrade. The self-serve boba is still there. The menu is prettier, and food is more expensive. The food is prettier too. I was here because I missed Taiwanese shaved snow. Class 302 still does it the best. The food here is great and I love the self serve drinks. The only reason why I gave this place a four was because you cannot adjust the sugar level for any of the drinks. The popcorn chicken is delicious and there's one drink that reminds me of a drink I use to get when Orobae was around. The drink at Class 302 that is my fave is the Phoenix oolong milk tea. They changed up the menu since the last time I came here and it has healthy options as well as more selection on the menu. Fun tip: enter a fun name for your order name on the kiosk!!!
We had dinner in the area and came here for their shaved ice. We loved going to Ever After so we were glad that they brought the menu items to this location. Tried the Taiwanese shaved ice and it was good. We had mochi, boba, strawberry, peanuts and red bean! All so yummy for a hot day! Service was also great! They're attentive and bring water and cups right when you get seated!
Seems like they're a combination of the old class 302 and ever after (which recently closed). I usually go for the self-serve boba tea, but decided to have a quick meal this time. There are dog friendly items on the menu and healthy variations of some homey dishes. I really enjoyed the salted egg yolk and chicken porridge!! Not something you can find in other restaurants. Not a big fan of their popcorn chicken, unfortunately. I would come back to try their other dishes.

I had this Strawberry Matcha dessert and it was great! I loved all of the flavors, the puddings, and fresh fruit that were put into this dessert. First visit as class 302 and we were blown away by the overall concept of one flat price ($7 including tax) for a build your own boba! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Their walls are set up just like yogurt land (this spot actually looks like it once was a yogurt land which is ironic because there is one a couple doors down lol) they have a topping bar that the employee will assist you with, and after your done they seal your cup and you're on your way![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The teas are all actually super flavorful, the toppings are good as well! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The staff is super friendly, their dining area is cute, and they offer a full food menu as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We will be back to try their popcorn chicken!

While I was there in line to order at the kiosk, a couple of people even asked me how to order. You place your order at the self kiosk, then pick up your cup from a staff member. They'll ask what toppings you want, and from there you move to the self-serve drink station to pour your tea. After that, you go back to get the lid sealed. If you order food as well, you'll need to wait at the food pickup area after finishing your drink. We didn't sit down to eat, but I noticed a couple parties were dining in, and everything looked good. I'm especially interested in coming back to try their beef noodle soup. We usually go to Woodbridge Cha for tea when we're craving boba and chicken, but this spot is a solid alternative if you're nearby and want something quick and casual.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]A fun place to take the kids for boba drinks after meal at nearby Panda Express.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There are two tablets located on the order counter for you to place drink orders (and food order) for take-outs. If you plan to dine-in, they will direct you to a table so you don't need to order at the counter. The popcorn chicken is a yummy treat and a good portion size. Stinky tofu was ok, not great, and the pork chop is a bit small. Kids enjoyed the self-serve drink. After you pay for the drink, the staff assists you with toppings selection and then gives you the cup so you can top it off with the drink(s) of your choice. You can ask for samples of the toppings with the staff and also ask for a sample cup to try the drinks. Ever After closed down and combined its menu to this class 302 location. I was excited to see the Ever After menu items here since I frequently went to them, so was interested to see how this compares. I got the Black sesame chicken fried rice which tasted really good! It was on the oily side though because of the sesame oil so I'll probably try their other options next time. I also got the popcorn chicken rice which came with the braised pork sauce (which I got on the side). Flavor was great, chicken was nice and juicy with a thin layer of breading. Service was great too, we got served rather quickly and food came out promptly as well. Their drink selection is still the self serve, and you can still ask for sample cups to try. I believe they also brought some drinks from Ever After to here as I didn't see them before. I'm excited to come back again and try their other menu items. I usually make it a point to visit Class 302 whenever I'm in Irvine, especially for their calamari and spicy miso udon soup. However, when we looked at the menu this time, a large portion of their dishes had been removed. The spicy miso udon soup, which is one of the main reasons I come here, is no longer available. I wasn't expecting half the menu to be gone after the renovations. The service was great. The workers were kind and attentive whenever we needed to order or asked for boxes. We also ordered a soup, though I'm not sure what it was called, and it wasn't very good. The noodles had a gelatin-like texture and the broth lacked flavor, which was definitely not what we were expecting. I ordered the calamari and pork dumplings. The calamari is still top tier as always, while the dumplings were just okay. I heard that the restaurant Ever After that just closed had moved it's dishes to this location so I followed to try something I saw. My best friend lives in Irvine so we went together. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When we arrived, there were only 2 tables taken. They had a pretty mural of Taiwan on the wall.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] To the left of the entrance were multiple teas with dispensers. We were seated and asked if we had been there before. Since neither of us had, they explained the dining and drink process. We would order our food, then go up to the boba toppings bar to get toppings first then fill up our cups with the tea of our choice! Then they seal our cup! Never been to a place like this! Thought it was super cool! We ordered popcorn chicken, Taiwanese sausage, chili wontons and wonton noodle soup. The wonton soup was interesting because it had spinach and celery in it. Interesting how it worked in the dish. We also ordered matcha shave ice and everything was amazing. We will definitely be coming back since the yakisoba that we initally went for had run out. read more

The natural, homey aesthetic is gone after their remodel and now it looks like any typical boba cafe. However, drinks are still the same which is nice. You pay for the cup, choose toppings that they add for you, then self serve fill your own cup and give it back to them to seal. Protip: the teas with sugar are VERY sweet so mix your choice with some unsweetened for a better balance. Also, not sure if it's a new item but the porridge is AMAZING, especially in this cold weather. The seafood one was loaded and the portion was huge. I'd go back just for the porridge. read more
My first time here. It's so great to get shaved ice, or their milky ices. The shaved ice is kind of a rough ice (not like snow), but you get to choose 5 toppings: crystal mochi, taro/sweet sauce, red bean, almond tofu, grass jelly, jasmine jelly (THE BEST), and condensed milk on the side. - Big enough for 2 people My friend ordered a milk shaved ice. It was a mountain of goodness. Had mangos, a pudding on top, crystal mochi on the side, a ton of fruit garnish, a blueberry jam topping, and I think it came with layers of ice cream inside too. - It was so big, big enough for 3 people to share - My friend took 1/3 home What a wonderful 1st visit. read more
Class 302 in Irvine never disappoints. I ordered a winter melon milk tea with a the popcorn chicken (medium spicy) along with the 302 basil fried rice. I got to say that everything was packed with flavor and the popcorn chicken came with a side of spice where you can adjust it yourself. Chicken also had the right amount of crispiness. Service was friendly and efficient, which made the experience even better. They also recently remodeled and the ambiance is way better than before. Much cleaner, more modern, and more comfortable to hang out in. One of my favorite parts is the drink setup. The buffet style boba and drinks are such a fun touch and let you try multiple flavors in one visit. Great food, great service, and a spot I'll definitely keep coming back to. read more
Boba is self serve. The store is located in the corner of. You have to buy your cup first, then they add your toppings inside then you go add your drink. I wish they didn't add the toppings first and just gave me the cup because I didn't know which drink go get. I would put a little in my cup to taste but after a few tastes they were all just mixed together. I didn't know what I ended up with. Each cup was 6 or 7$ The watermelon juice tastes good, not sure if I would pay $7 for watermelon juice here though I would come back but try something else read more

302 Class Boba Tea is one of my favorite spots for drinks. The quality is always consistent, the staff is friendly, and there are plenty of options to choose from. The teas and smoothies are fresh and flavorful, making it a great place to stop by anytime. My only regret is that they no longer have the taro smoothie that used to be on the menu. It was absolutely the best drink they offered, and I still miss it. Hopefully, they'll bring it back someday because it was truly unforgettable. read more
Class 302 got a glow-up The space feels so much fresher with new furniture, wall art, and sleek drink dispensers. Way cleaner and more modern than before. Drinks are less sweet by default now (a big plus!) and they give you sweeteners on the side if you want to adjust. Love the changes since the days of jumbo cup sizes. Every cup is a flat $7, which makes ordering easy. Food-wise, the popcorn chicken is solid. Crispy with not too much breading, tasty with or without sauce. Pro tip: you can ask for extra basil at no cost. Overall, I like the direction they've taken and will definitely be back to explore more drinks and bites. read more
The restaurant was clean and spacious. Service was quick and friendly. We came in late Saturday night for something sweet after dinner. They have good selection of snow shaved ice. The bowl lied, this portion was huge! Very flavorful and hearty, perfect for those trying to escape the flu. I really appreciated all the veggies, there was something on the noodles though, I first thought it was garlic but it was a soft texture, not sure what it was but I wasn't a big fan, otherwise the shrimp wanton soup was perfect! The service was very welcoming as soon as I came in, and let me enjoy my food in peace. This was a fun first visit! It's a tea shop and tiny restaurant, you can choose from a bunch of different teas and then choose your toppings, they give you little taster cups to try which flavors and they are all really good! Then you fill your cup with which toppings you like take the cup over to your tea choice and fill it yourself put it on a tray at the counter and they will seal it for you. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We had a lot of fun with the process a great place to take kids and family.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They offer a small menu of food too we will come back next time to try the food. First time coming to Class 302. I came here after finding out my FAVORITE dessert place closed. Ever After Tea Room. I was so heartbroken when I saw they permanently closed. When I first found Ever After Tea Room, I was going there everyday for their Black Forest Snow Cake. I love it an unhealthy amount haha. But just before the sadness sets in I found out, through their page, that they had moved Ever After Tea Room to their first location and happiness was once again restored! Expect to see me an unhealthy amount for the Black Forest Snow Cake. PLEASE NEVER GO AWAY! Also I must share the love of their dessert. Each bite brings an overwhelming scrumptious joy. You can taste the immense pride in their cooking and food that I am sure that they make their food with just as much care and love. I hope their business continues to grow so that people like me can continue to eat their food. read more

My son wanted to try out a self serve boba place, and we came upon this place. When we came it seems like they are just remodeling their menu bar they did not have anything. It can be confusing when you first go inside because there is no sense of direction on how it works just fyi. 1. You pay first. 2. Ask for Sample cup (to try before committing to a flavor) 3. Choose your toppings a good amount of selections, the staff has to pour it in for you. 4. You have options of regular liquid flavors to slushy type as well. 5. After you have filled up your cup, you then go back to the register so the staff can seal the cup. It was an interesting experience, but I was not a fan of how it tastes. I did not try any food here, since the Irvine location was still under construction. Nothing was on the menu for food wise. Also, I went on a Sunday noon time, the table section was closed off. So it's more of order and go until they fully reopen since it's still soft opening I believe. read more

We stopped by the plaza and decided to grab something to eat on the patio. We agreed to go with whichever spot sounded good, and I'm so glad I chose Class 302 -- it definitely didn't disappoint! I ordered the basil fried rice with a spicy level, added popcorn chicken on the side, and paired it with their honey milk tea with crystal boba. Everything was flavorful and satisfying. The fried rice had the perfect kick, the popcorn chicken was crispy and delicious, and the honey milk tea was refreshing and just the right amount of sweet. Recently rennovated! The space looks so much nicer, cleaner, and spacious. They have a self order kiosk in addition to a cashier. I love their concept of self-serve boba. I do wish the toppings were self serve as well. They have so many different types of teas to choose from: milk teas, caffeine free, non-dairy milk teas, fruit teas, unsweetened teas, and even slushies. They give you a sample cup, so you can sample each one before comitting to a whole cup of it. I love that you can dilute any of the teas with additional tea to adjust the sweetness to your personal liking. Once they give you your boba cup, you let them know what toppings you would like, fill up your cup with tea, juice, ice, and return the cup for them to seal. They renovated! The inside is brand new and seems more spacious. I love getting boba here and bringing friends/family because there's something for everyone. Lots of different toppings and drink flavors to choose from. I love their Class 302 Vintage Milk Tea with boba and creme brulee (egg pudding). My bf mixes the Class 302 Vintage Milk Tea with the Taro Milk Tea, and gets boba, creme brulee, and crystal boba. read more

You order and pay at the front. The cashier will put the toppings for you. Then you pour the tea yourself and the cashier will seal it. Due to covid there are no sample cups.

I think there are nondairy options. They have passion fruit and mango green teas, winter melon teas, and several slushee flavors. As for the toppings, there is boba, fruit jelly, and puddings.
