I so wish I could give more stars but not able to. I took my daughter & her friend there. We were all super excited, but the young ladies working that day were absolutely horrible to us. They ALL seemed put out when we walked in. I asked the counter girl what she would recommend, her response was "whatever". And when I went to pay was scolded for not tipping...when indeed - I left a sizable cash tip in the jar. After I showed the counter girl that it was cash, she didn't feel the need to apologize nor did her co-workers. Never been treated so poorly. I thought Boise Boba was better than this. If you want a nice place to get boba and where the servers will be helpful and nice...then head to Urban Fox!! read more

Love all the unique flavor combinations! Today I got the Pistachio Milk Tea with original jellies! In the past, I have had the Hawaiian and Sunset. All of them have been delicious!! This location is much more open with more seating than their downtown place. The nature of the drink means that they use a lot of plastic...which is a bummer. I'd love to see them work on a solution. While I love these drinks, the price is steep. My 16oz drink was $4.23 and it took about 7 minutes to make. Neither of these things are deal breakers and I will be back! read more

We visited Boise Boba on our road trip. I'm a bobaholic so I'm excited to try different boba place. The store has a simple design with gray colour. It doesn't have many tables or seats even though they still have lots of space. I think 2 pictures of panda and sloth are very cute and unique! I ordered classic milktea , less ice. I rate this place 3 stars because the milktea that I got did not have the tea smelling, all I tasted was sugar and sugar. Many boba places also have this problem because they make milktea from powder. A little bit disappointed because boise boba has pretty high recommendation! However, the staffs were very friendly and helpful they would say goodbye whenever you come in or step out of the store, which is I like Last but not least, they gave me a sticker of a cup of boba tea in Idaho state shape very lovely ! read more

I really loved the enviroment here. It was very quiet with no one else in sight when I went in at 11. The service was great the gal who helped me was friendly and knowledgable. Also I'm a sucker for cute decor and I loved the decor in here. I got the lavender boba and it was good. Comparing to my favorite place though I think the boba was a tad too sweet for me. However they have a much larger variety of drink flavors. That's overwhelming for me because I'm so indecisive but I know my kids will love it. Can't wait to bring them in! read more

Meh- I'd definitely recommend Urban Fox over this business. The counter guy was clearly done "adulting" for the day. I tried to be gracious & tell him first time here- only seemed to annoy him more. The Bliss tea was nice, but nothing special. I had fun watching him make the drink, & watching the machine seal the cup- but then I dashed for the parking lot. I had planned to stay, but didn't feel welcomed. It's hard to separate the business product from the service with an attitude, but I'm trying, so giving it an ok- but to be clear- again I far far far recommend Urban Fox over this business. read more

Doesn't taste like any of the other boba places we been to, this was just awful! They add way to much sugar, They did not know how to freshly make the drink, so disappointed! All the tapioca was stuck together, impossible to drink with a straw. And the milk was mixed so bad .... I would not buy or go back to this place.. read more

I would give this place a 4.5+ stars but there is no such an option. I was craving for some good Boba but had not found one till now. I saw the review on Yelp and decided to give it a try. The location is fine, no problem finding parking. The store is very clean, and the staff members were very friendly and helpful. They even offered my a small sip of milk tea sample to see if I like the taste. I ordered an original (Milk Tea with regular Boba) The Boba is AWESOME! It is perfect texture. Not too soft (as over cooked) nor too hard (either under cooked or not fresh as stored it in the fridge overnight). It missed a bit of sweetness to the Boba but it is totally fine. The milk tea was pretty good. I have had quite some different ones before in Asia and California, I think it really depends on what you like. Personally, I think it is about right. My 9 year old had a popping Boba with strawberry green tea. I asked them to have more water than tea to dilute the tea a bit. They could pretty much custom make to your flavor. It came out great! A few suggestions I would like to offer to the store: more flavors to tea and to the popping boba. Perhaps consider pudding as an option as well. Maybe add some dessert so people can sit there and enjoy some tea time. Suggestions to people who have never been there before. This is pretty authentic Asian boba place. If you have tried some good ones before, this one will not disappoint you. I highly recommend it. If you have never had boba before, you may want to find out if they can give you one or 2 boba to try. See if you like the texture. It is pretty chewy, and I know lots of American people may not like that "chewy" "sticky" kind of texture. I recommend you to try popping boba instead. People with little kids, give them popping boba if they want to try. The regular boba may become a choking hazard for kids under 3. Regular bobas are like gummy balls. My 9 year old and I love the place. We cannot wait to go back and pay a visit again. Now, I am hoping they will have one location much closer to me. read more

My friend and I had a very unpleasant first experience here, after shopping at target we decided to check this store out. Granted there was only one girl working there, it felt as she did not want to be there whatsoever. Since it was our first time there, we had no idea what to order, and when it was are time to order she very snappy and it felt as if she was rushing us. We had no idea what was good. So we ordered whatever we saw first and that was it. She made the drinks really fast and moved us along, not saying anything. I said thank you and she actually ignored me. The green machine was really good but the boba was really hard and very plastic like. My friend got the almond flavored milk tea and it was sooo bad, it was sickly sweet and it had white clumps in it. So I patiently waited until the girl was finishing up with a customer to tell her about the drink. I said this exactly," my friend did not like this drink I think somethings wrong with it, is there anything you could do, i don't mind paying for another one." And she said she get me after the next customer. So I go to throw the drink away and wait behind the next customer. Mind you after the next customer was a group of 8 school aged girls, so I waited and after she finished the customer in front of me, without even looking at me, she goes on to the group of girls and take their orders. I was directly in her line of sight but she chose to ignore me. So I took my friend and we left. I don't think I will ever go back. read more

Great place for boba! The staff is really friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. They even have us a sample of their tea before we decided what we wanted to order. My only complaint is that the boba was not warm when we received our drinks. It was still very good. I ordered the lavender tea. It was their golden tea with a hint of lavender. Delicious! Being the only boba shop in town, this place gets credit solely on taking a leap into the market. Boba tea is amazing and every municipality should have its own shop. Had their taro/coconut mix, but they can customize to just taro and adjust sugar input. The staff is small and friendly. Support this business. Make Boba Tea Great Again. read more

Never knew this place was here until searching for smoothies and then seen this! So glad I gave it a try. I already love Boba so having some when I hadn't had any in forever was so yummy. I recommend 10/10. Only thing is the staff are young high school girls so when busy there isn't much sense or urgency. To be fair, they do have a sign stating they are short staffed so could be different! I will still be coming back. read more

Not many tap spots in Boise I think this is like the only spot. Came here with the family and we tried the taro, golden tea, and matcha. Taro tasted very milky and artificial, not my kind of drink. Golden tea I think was my favorite of the 3, has a decent tea flavor with a hint of sweetness. Matcha was alright. Better than the taro I felt like. So what about the Boba? It was decent but it did get hard about an hour or two later. I would like this place more if their boba lasted longer in softness. maybe it's their recipe. For being the only spot in my area, I can't complain I appreciate having boba in my life still lol. But I've tried tap from Cali and Texas, they're way better to be honest :/ read more

Prices have gone up while the quality and flavor have gone down. I ordered the same drink I always get, and there was so much ice (blended) -there was barely any flavor. Also a very small amt of boba in the bottom. read more

I love boba (gummy tapioca pearls)! I've only tried them in smoothies so I wanted to try something different the owner recommended milk tea and let me try it. I'm in love! It's slightly sweet, creamy, with that hint of black tea you are promised. The smoothies they offer are delicious and you can combine any flavor you want or go with the menu suggestions. Prices are reasonable and sizes are generous. Hot teas are available, too! The facility is clean, organized, and friendly. The staff is great and is willing to let you try the teas that are premade. Their wide variety of flavors is amazing. We like seeing the entire process, but at the same time the guy who made our boba teas was very slow and took him too long to get our order done. The location is nice, but the staff needs to be more customer oriented, they were kinda dry, not engaging at all. We're happy that this location is closer than the downtown one. read more

A bit disappointed. First time here, charged for large drinks but given small drinks. The names of the drinks are a bit ridiculous, too, but I overlooked that because I love boba. Then we get our drinks and they just don't taste right. Something weird about them that doesn't taste like the classic boba I've had many many times. Probably won't be back. When I went to tell the girls they overcharged me/gave me the wrong drink size for what I paid for they went to the back and never came back up. I wasn't going to wait around. Oh well, I even tipped which was not well deserved. I'll over pay at the Asian restaurant instead next time. read more

She had a couple orders ahead of mine but she stopped what she was doing to grab my order. I grabbed the green apple tea lychee jellies today. The barista smashed out 5 drinks. She was on top of it! Since she was the only one working it did take her a minute to get them all done. My tea today was perfect! I have never had green some before and I'm happy I tried it out! It tastes like green apple Jolly Ranchers. There's a good amount of jellies on the bottom that you get a couple pieces every time you take a sip. It's quite delicious! There's plenty of tables and seating for a great coffee date or a spot to do homework. It's the ultimate chill spot to grab a drink and enjoy the moment.

Unfortunately, our experience was pretty disappointing overall. We ordered three sandwiches to and only one -- the meatloaf sandwich -- was decent. My husband ordered the Kansas City brisket sandwich, and unfortunately ours came with just a few very thick-cut pieces of brisket that weren't very appetizing. Based on other photos/reviews, it may have been an off day, but the flavor and texture in the sandwich we received were disappointing. I ordered the Reuben, and the bread-to-meat ratio was way off (photo attached). It was mostly bread with very little filling, especially for a ~$14 sandwich. The sides were okay, but the portions overall felt pretty minimal given the pricing. I always want to support local restaurants, especially ones prioritizing local ingredients, so this was a letdown. Based on this visit, I wouldn't go out of my way to return.

The space has beautiful natural light and lots of windows, making it a really nice place for meetings, catch-ups, or slower coffee mornings. Every time I've been here, I've seen a mix of church groups, casual mom coffee meetups, study groups, and people working quietly in corners. It has that welcoming neighborhood coffee house energy where people settle in instead of rushing out. One thing to know -- they're still fairly new (within their first year), so the line can get LONG, even in the afternoon. This is definitely more of a leisurely coffee stop versus a quick grab-and-go situation, but the atmosphere makes up for it. They also have an awesome patio and regularly host events, so I'd definitely recommend following their Instagram if you want updates on events and seasonal drink specials. Parking can be a little small and congested, but honestly that's pretty par for the course around here and not enough to stop us from coming back.

I snagged a small iced cinnamon honey dirty chai with almond milk and a huckleberry lemonade for the husband. I believe everything we got is going to be so good! The ham and cheese croissant looked mighty tasty! It was nicely heated. You can tell it was nice and hot cause the ham and cheese was starting to slide out of the croissant. Husband smashed the whole thing and I wasn't even offered a bite. My quiche had beautiful pieces of zucchini and cheese on top. I really enjoyed the sun dried tomatoes in it. The filling was fluffy and soft. It was a great suggestion from the manager! I might have them heat it up just a hair longer next time, it could have been warmer. The huckleberry lemonade was killer!! It was tart, sweet and bubbly. I was only allowed one sip and I made sure it was big! My first round of chai did not look like normal and it didn't taste good. It was so dark and bitter. I did ask the barista if there was chai in my drink cause it didn't taste like chai. After we got it figured out, a new drink was made. My first one was not what I had ordered, I don't know what it was. My second round was almost perfect. The honey cinnamon chai was so good! It was sweet and spicy. I love the added cinnamon in there. It tastes like it should be cold and holiday season outside. I did pay for a shot of espresso to make it dirty which I never got. It was almost a cup of perfection. I really enjoyed our little coffee date here today. The food was good. Our drinks were tasty. The staff was nice. And it's conveniently down the road from us. I'm happy we stopped in today for our Sunday goodies. I look forward to another round of food and drinks from this joint.

They have a huge table that can seat multiple people which I thought was really cool. I ordered the chocolate croissant and the mocha. The croissant was chocolatey and warm. I got the dark mocha which was also very tasty! Wifey got the raspberry croissant and raspberry soy matcha. Overall, I enjoyed the pastries and the coffee. The shop was also very cozy. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys coffee and pastries for breakfast!

The last time I went I tried the gingerbread latte - this was hands down THE BEST gingerbread latte I've ever had! I'm so bummed it's seasonal and that they aren't closer to me so I can enjoy it more before it's gone. I did enjoy their breakfast burrito, it is a smidge expensive, but it's solid. My partner is a black coffee drinker and he likes their Fruit Snacks brew for drip, says it's one of the best black coffees he's found in a while. The ambiance is very relaxed, the swing chairs are such a unique idea (at least in my experience) and they give the shop a fun vibe. I kind of wish they were in just a little bit bigger location, the last time I went it was fairly full inside and it would be great if they had a few more spots for comfy reading chairs - I would love to grab some snacks, a couple of drinks, and spend an hour or two reading there. It's definitely a warm environment and any time I'm in the area, I plan to head back.

The perfect shop to help with my sweet tooth. I remember getting some chocolates as a gift but it was nice to be able to make my way into the store. The venue is so stunning. Beautiful displays of hot cocoa containers, chocolate bars and gift boxes of chocolates. Bright display cases of beautifully made chocolates and truffles. Everything looked divine! As much as I wanted to buy a whole pound of chocolates, I knew I couldn't polish off a whole pound by myself. My husband loves chocolate but isn't into anything fancy. I know he wasn't going to help me with a the chocolates I would have picked out. So, I opted to grab a small box of assorted chocolates. The little box I grabbed was simple and delicate. I love the little blue bow on the box. It was just the right amount of goodies for me. And since it's a variety, I get to try a little of everything. I appreciate that they have a list of what was going to be in the box. You get a nice mix of dark and milk chocolate. I'm not going to lie, I opened up that box and had 2 pieces of the dark chocolates drops. No guilt polishing off 2 pieces of chocolate right away. Later I had a milk chocolate drop with cashews I believe and I'm in love. I recall the chocolates I had in the past were fabulous but the chocolates I got today were delicious! And I plan on not sharing the rest of the box with anyone in my house. I was hesitant at the store purchasing a whole pound of chocolate but after eating 3 pieces of it today, I think I'm going to have to grab a pound the next time I come in. I know I'll have to pace myself with that many sweets but it'll be so worth every penny! Happy I stopped in for a treat today. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I got to support a local business. After reading a couple reviews, the coffee and Gelato are a must here too, a must have on my next visit. The store is so pretty and bright.
