This Bojangles is usually a hit or miss, but this time it was definitely a miss. I had ordered a family meal with chicken, chicken tenders, macaroni and cheese, dirty rice and bo-berry biscuits. The wait was extremely long, which is normal because they are always understaffed. I do like that they have a robot ordering system because it can help make sure my order is completed correctly, but the service is still slow. The issue was the food. Everything was cold.. and i mean EVERYTHING. Biscuits were hard, rice had no flavor. Bo-Berry biscuits hard ..? My experiences here are normally better...! But 2 stars this time ! read more

Convenient breakfast stop on a road trip. It shares a building w an Exxon. It was easy on and off the highway. We ordered ahead on the app and it was hot and ready when we arrived. It did take a minute or two for the lady to come up. No one else was in the restaurant but maybe the drive through was occupied. Our order was correct and as yummy as I remembered. I usually go here and something always gets messed up but this time will probably be my last time going here. The AI ordering system took my order and it asked if the order was correct on the screen but it didn't show up so I just asked the worker at the window to repeat it. Which she did and I repeated it too. I said each sauce, drink, and which order had what. I had 3 regular drinks and 1 large. 3 Starys and 1 Pepsi. She asked me at the window which size I wanted the Pepsi in so I regular and somehow I got 2 Pepsi and 2 starys. I checked the sauces before I left and they have me 1 wrong. So I went inside and after waiting in line forever the cashier told me to hold on. Then she was just sitting at the front doing whatever so I walked over and said that I just needed a new sauce because mine was messed up. She tried to charge me for .43c for one and I explained I don't feel that I should pay because they messed up my order. Her manager or whoever it was rudely said "Well why didn't you bring in the other one otherwise you can pay .43c. Nobody apologize and they rudely exchanged my sauce. Then went I get home I realized that I got four 3 pieces combos when I paid for two four pieces two 3. After spending almost $50 and it was still messed up. I called the store after trying to find the general managers number online, I asked for the GMs number and they said they didn't know it and they would be on tomorrow. The person who answered did offer to help me but after the service I received I declined. More than 8 people in the building and they were completely ignoring everyone in the dining room. Stood at the register to order for more than 20 minutes while multiple employees walked up and looked us in the face, said nothing and walked away. Keep losing money Bojangles in blythewood, customer service is below a zero, dining room was filthy, employees were full of foul mouthed comments very loudly even though small children were present in the store. Earning a one star review is tough, but these guys earned it this morning. I ordered from the drive thru and there was only one other car in front of me. I ordered 2 Boberry Biscuits with a sweet tea and a Cajun filet biscuit combo with a sweet tea and a side of pimento cheese. The order came up fast. However, they forgot the receipt (if they didn't hear part of the order, that is understandable why an item is missing). They only gave one drink and it was a diet coke. They forgot straws. They forgot a fork for the Boberry biscuit. They forgot one of the biscuits. The biscuit they did deliver was really good though. They forgot napkins. The Borounds were cold. The chicken was cold. The pimento cheese was missing I regret visiting this location this morning. read more

I drove up north on an emergency basis for an aging father and made a mental note that when I drive back to stop at a Bojangles. I hadn't eaten there in a decade or so. So on my way back I came across this place. What a mistake. I ordered an 8 piece and then when I got to the window ordered a diet Pepsi. The staff was NOT following social distancing. In fact, I witnessed a girl enter form the convenience store entrance without a mask on. She seemed to be possibly arriving to work and passed through the station area, opened up the gate to the seating area and closed it. Her disregard for protocol had me concerned. The girl at the window was talking to her friend , also at the window, about ending her shift then. One had no face covering at all and the two were side by side. Obviously poorly trained on job responsibilities and protocol in front of customers. When I received my order I headed back onto the interstate and headed south. About a mile of so down the road I took out a piece of chicken and was stunned at the smell of the grease and the awful taste. It tasted like very old grease and smelled just crazy bad. I took a sip of the drink. I gagged. I can't confirm what was in the drink but it WAS NOT DIET PEPSI. The cup had a grease film on it and immediately I spit out the sip. I called my wife immediately and told her if I got sick she could trace it back to the place I just left. Fortunately, I did not. Upon returning to Florida I contacted the company. I filed a complaint. A week plus later I had yet to be contacted so I contacted them again. The customer rep apologized (again). But she stated something strange when I asked about the minimal status of a refund. She claimed since I didn't ask for a refund or an update of my first complaint that the company would not "assume" I wanted a refund or even follow up with me. Huh? So, $18 later, almost two weeks plus of time and a bit of effort and what I consider a stroke of luck that I didn't become sick and I'm no better off. I would shut this place down and start over. If Bojangle's is selling franchises for $25k and then leaving them to do what they want or never follow up then oh boy. I will never frequent another one of these again. read more

This bojangles is popping especially since it's connected with a gas station and close to the stadium. Ordering was a breeze. Waiting for our food didn't take that long. I ordered a Cajun filet biscuit. When I unwrapped it, I noticed how huge the chicken was which made me happy. Once, I chewed in it, it was very dry which was so surprising since it was still early. They missed a drink we ordered, biscuits were rock hard and they didn't even have bo-berry biscuits that I've heard all about. I do not frequent this restaurant because it is on the opposite side of Columbia from where I live. However, I do drive to Charlotte for business on occasion. This is the second time I decided to stop at this store. My first experience was not very good but they were also very busy so I did not think much about it. I decided to stop there today since the the other restaurants looked very busy. I was the second car in line to order. It took about 5 minutes before I could order. I finally got to order, pulled around to the window & paid. They gave us our drinks & then asked us to pull forward to wait for our food. After 20 minutes, I walked inside. They asked what I ordered. After telling them, it took another 10 minutes before my food showed up. It was placed in front of me without anything being said to me. There was no apology from the girl that took my order nor from the manager who was working in the back. I will definitely not be visiting this restaurant again. read more

Service a little bit slow but that doesn't bother me nearly as much as the managers big mouth. This woman was speaking to her staff as if they were useless, and right in front of the customers! I overheard her telling the staff that if they can't do what she's wanting that they can "go ahead and quit right now". I was coming back to CLT from my cousin's who lives in Columbia and I was craving some borounds so I decided to stop by at this store. Come to find out, it's one if of those tiny store located inside a gas station. I pulled up to drive-thru and placed my order. I was told that it would take seven minutes since borounds are not ready and I said that's fine because I expected not to be ready in late afternoon. So I handed my CC to pay for it and waited for my food. It took a good while for them to make it. I asked them for extra napkins since they only gave me two. I need more incase I have an accident. I also asked for glass of water for which I got a LOOK! I drove off and start eating food on the go. Even though they just made it, it tasted like the bo-rounds were little chewy and maybe burned a little. So little improvement on service and quality of food is required. read more

I went in a few days ago. The line was crazy long since it was after work which is understandable. The kid at the counter was rude. After I placed my order I moved down the line to where other people were just waiting for their food. The kid getting the food together was asking each person in line what their order was and getting it together, then moving to the next. There were at least 10-15 receipts piled up where the orders were being printed out on his end of the line. After taking two more orders the kid at the register moved down and started putting fries and chicken in boxes. I asked if he was going to wash his hands since he was just dealing with money. He looked at me like I had 3 heads and the other kid who was already putting orders together started laughing. The cashier didn't say a word and walked behind a wall...I'm assuming to wash his hands. He was gone for a good 5 minutes. I assume he was waiting for me to get my food and be gone by the time he came back. When he finally came back and saw me still waiting on my food he went back to the cash register. That's absolutely disgusting that he was about to start dealing with food with dirty hands. read more
