As their name suggests, all their sandwiches are assembled then steamed. Naturally, this creates an extra soft bagel. By their own admission this also creates and a gooey, melty, messy sandwich. Well maybe they don't say messy, but by the napkin "gauge", my California Steamin was a bit messy. My wife went with the Pirate. Did it work? With the "sammys" we had, yes! Tasty, not toasty. So my wife had to prove to her that we were sitting at the table adjacent to the counter. Then young lady who was taking orders told my wife, "For future reference, if you stand at the end of the counter, someone would refresh your beverage."
