They're either barely seasoned (like one fry in the whole box got any love) or so overdone that they're all crunch with no potato in the middle--and then somehow turn rubbery. I'm a Bojangles' fan , but y'all messed up my order. We don't have Bojangles' in Las Vegas yet , but they are going to be building a couple now. I visit the Carolinas about every 2 to 3 years to visit friends and family and take a couple days to go to Myrtle Beach and Cherry Grove. I always go for breakfast once and get the Cajun Chicken Biscuit with egg , Bo-tato rounds , and a Cheerwine. I occasionally will come for dinner and get the fried chicken and fixins of course , but this time I decided to try the Cajun Filet Sandwich Combo with Fries , Coke , and Peach Cobbler Desert. Well I get back to the condo and my filet is on a biscuit not a bun and no lettuce , tomato , or mayo. This was dinner time , so I don't know why they thought to put it on a biscuit and the large filet was of course hanging out of the whole thing. It looked ridiculous. They did give me a ton of fries which were thick and good. The Peach Cobbler Desert was terrible and I love peach cobbler. It tasted like some bad hospital food or something. The lady working the counter of course didn't seem very happy being there which seems to be normal for fast food these days. I went to another location for breakfast the day before and the employees there seemed happier and my food was spot on. Of course I wasn't going to drive all the way back to this location to get my food corrected. Luckily I had a mayo packet from another restaurant from earlier that I could use on the chicken biscuit / sandwich. read more

I really appreciate a good franchise like this one. My fried chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned, our sides were the same , cooked properly and delicious. Just had Bojangle's tonight. It has always been such a treat for me, because there are no Bojangles in Michigan. Not so much anymore. My mashed potatoes and gravy and coleslaw were good, but the chicken was dreadful. So much DRY breading. Seriously. I used to eat the breading first, and I don't know if its a new recipe or what, but it's just plain awful. Yuck. Two pieces, I just tore off the breading and there was very little chicken under it at all. I guess my love affair with Bojangles is over. read more

Looking for chicken in SC, this is your best and only option. Service is fast, ambiance is like any other franchise. I stand by my opinion on the franchises offer better bang for the buck in the south in contrast to their local restaurant variants. I went into the restaurant this morning. My wife wanted to have her breakfast done differently. I am always hesitant to do fast food orders differently than the menu because it usually creates too much confusion. Anyway, I went inside and luckily had Miss Jo wait on me at the counter. I explained to her the request and she not only determined the best way to enter it into the system but also went and spoke to the people in the kitchen to make sure they understood how it needed to be done. As a Cajun girl, everybody else in my party said it was our "duty" to eat at Bojangles - plus, honestly, we were a bit tired of paying tons of money for food at most of the restaurants in Myrtle Beach. I wasn't expecting much, but I left somewhat surprised by Bojangles. While it's definitely a standard fast-food restaurant, it was interesting. The girl taking our order was friendly and willing to wait and give us suggestions as none of us had eaten at a Bojangles location before. Upon her recommendation, we all tried the Chicken Tenders meal. I didn't know that all of the meals come with a free biscuit either, but they do. Everyone was pretty "meh" on the chicken tenders. They weren't bad, but they certainly weren't good. Some of them were overcooked. Everybody really loved the french fries, though. We were fighting over the french fries that we got. I really was in love with the biscuits too. They were literally perfection. Warm and perfectly cooked without being overcooked. I could eat those biscuits like all day. Definitely would come back. I've said it once and I'll say it again, If this is what the standard is for southern fast food restaurants, I'm so to pack my bags and leave Jersey! This was my second visit to a Bojangles'. During my first visit, I had lunch and it was PHENNNNOMAL! This time around, I had breakfast. I can't really say it was phenomenal, but it was definitely one of the best fast food breakfasts that I ever had. Best of all, breakfast is served all day long and it's pretty cheap=) Their biscuits are to die for. You really don't need to butter them up or get them with gravy, as for they're already buttery and seasoned very well. They're perfectly crunchy/ flakey on the outside and warm/ moist on the inside. The bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit came with a hearty egg, a thick piece of cheese, and good cuts of bacon. All that was great in itself, but the biscuit definitely stepped the sandwich up to the next level. I also had a side of biscuit and gravy, more so to try the gravy. It came with beef gravy loaded with pieces of beef. It was a little salty, but still very good. I have a feeling it was just a bad batch of gravy and that it's normally not that salty. I also had the bo-tot rounds, which were amazing, and a side of grits. The grits were pretty good. Definitely a surprisingly large portion. I believe this location is relatively new. We have always seen Bojangles and wondered what it was like. I was pleasantly surprised. This location was clean, prompt, and service was polite and efficient. The food was delicious. I did not expect the kick that the chicken had, but very tasty. We ordered a 20 piece family meal with extra sides. We were in and out in less than 10 minutes. The food was fresh. I am very particular about coleslaw, and this proved to make the cut. Perhaps the best store bought coleslaw I have ever had. So as far as a "fast food" restaurant goes, well done. read more

Oh My God Food AND service were HORRIBLE!! We went around 2:30 for a late lunch. The place was empty. The cashier was VERY rude. She never smiled, never said "hi." Just "Are you dining in today?" I got a 4 piece chicken tender combo which consisted of 4 cold, dry and almost burnt tenders, Overly salted fried potatoes, a burnt biscuit, and a soft drink. The only thing that was good was the soft drink. The hot food that sits in the showcase by the register had looked like it hadn't been remotely looked at after the regular lunch rush. There were fried potatoes everywhere and the over-abundance of chicken was dying a slow death under the heat lamps. This place opened up not too long ago. It shows in the cleanliness of the dining room yet the lack of customer service and the horrible attention to the food will probably cause it to close soon. With all of the many choices to eat at in this popular tourist location, one would think to try and run your business better than all the rest. Obviously not here. ** On a side note, I did witness the manager teaching another employee (young hispanic girl) on how to make the sweet tea. I'm not sure why this location is reported closed because it is very much open (or I hallucinated going there today!). The food was pretty good. I LOVE the biscuits and the fries, and the chicken was pretty enjoyable. My sisters and brother-in-law really liked it too! However, I was NOT pleased with the employees! The employee taking my order at the cash register was fine and professional. The employees behind him were NOT. While I was placing my order, I was asked if I wanted a medium or a large drink with my meal. I said medium, and the employee said, "All the cool kids get large!" I didn't actually hear him say this and was told about it by my fiance later. Because I didn't hear him, I didn't respond, so the same employee said, "Wow, not even a smile?" That's very rude and not an acceptable way to treat your employees! I was also really irritated by another employee who interrupted me while I was placing the order to try and upsell me a 20 piece tailgate meal. Really? There are two adults who ordered a two piece chicken meal. Why are you trying to sell us a 20 piece meal? Know your audience! I understand the pressure to upsell certain foods, but that was really irritating! I was ordering a side of fries and you're trying to sell me a large meal. That itself was annoying, but after I said "No, that's okay", she and the other employee I mentioned earlier proceeded to go on with "Well, I tried!" "Well, you tried! That's what counts!" right in front of me. You didn't try anything! You interrupted me while I was ordering to try and get me to buy a ridiculously large meal. We had a long day of playing baseball and wanted to have dinner at a place we don't have back home and drove from South Myrtle Beach to North Myrtle beach before coming across this particular Bojangles. We ordered the 8 piece dinner and a grilled chicken salad. Chicken was okay, fries good and biscuits okay. The salad was average as well. We do not have a real chicken place that serves breakfast so maybe that increases the interest in Bojangles. read more

I went there today at around 2:30pm it's now 3:03pm. i found a hair in my cajun biscuit and also hair in my fries. then the manager proceeded to tell me that it wasn't a hair and not wanting to refund my money like i asked. so i had to pick the hair off the food to show her. no one had hair nets on and the gentleman who was running the drive through window also failed to provide me with a straw or the condiments i requested. he also had a lot of drainage and whitehead's around his lips which appeared to be herpes or something. either way. i'm very disgusted and i will never be coming back. and i also informed every single person at the drive through and the ones who were walking in. no customer service anymore. it's a shame read more

I saw an ad this morning for 2 steak biscuits for $3.50 so I sent my husband to go get us breakfast. He asked the cashier for the 2 for $3.50 steak biscuits. The cashier told him the special ended last week and they would not honor the ad. He got me something else and when we looked it up on the Grand Strand Bojangles page it was advertised also. We called Bojangles and was told we were out of luck. They gave us a bad number for the district manager so we could not complain. Considering I live here locally, I will start eating elsewhere.
