I placed an online order for curbside pick up. I was driving to this Bojangles on my way to school and I order some food on the app to get it picked up for somebody to bring it out for me in the parking lot to my car. I order it approximately 8:10 AM on Thursday, October 19, so when I pull up to the Bojangles parking lot I start ordering it on the app and I placed an order on the app and I waited 3 to 5 minutes for somebody to bring my order out to the parking lot to my car there is nobody there bring my order out that I have no other choice to pull up to the drive-through line and pick up my order via drive-through having and like what point having 3 curbside pick up signs out in the parking lot when there's no employee is willing to bring out the order to the customer out in the parking lot to the car and what happened if I can't walk in a Store and have a broken leg or the weather is too cold for me to get out of my car to pick up my order inside the store this wasted my time waiting for my order to be bringing out which didn't not happen and I was almost late for school because there's no employee will not bring out my order out to the parking lot to my car when I order for curbside pick up on the app. This order experience cost me almost me to be late for school. read more

The only reason this location stays in business is lack of nearby competitors. First of all-contrary to others opinions-the staff and management is kind however staff employees aren't always competent. One associate who appeared to be new filled a "dark piece box" with breasts and wings (read the sign bro!). On another visit a young lady prepared some "party tailgate" meal instead of the much smaller dinner I ordered. She was cute and I'm an idiot so whatever, biggest compliment-food inside the hot case display is usually cold!! Unforgivable!!! I'll start out by saying that Bojangles is my go to spot for a quick bite. The Powell location however is just pitiful. I keep going back, time after time, giving them a chance to be better...shame on me, I know, I just love the cajun filet biscuit that much. I'm just done with this location now. I am not exaggerating when I tell you that, on average, 2 out of 3 times I stop in they are either just understaffed or just that slow and uninterested in keeping anyone's business. Yesterday, I stopped in and saw that the drive through was backed up with about 6 cars in line. I decided to go inside to order, thinking it would be quicker. When I walked in the door there were 3 people in line, and no staff visible behind the counter. One of the patrons in line indicated that he had been in the drive thru line for about 30 minutes and had also come inside to see what was going on. I left and soon as I heard that. I guess he decided to give up to, since I saw him walk out the door right after I did. Today, I gave them yet another try...but....... Again, the drive thru had about 4 cars ahead of me. I waited anyway. One car moved after a couple of minutes, but the next car sat there for 5 minutes longer before I decided to just leave, since, at that rate, it would be about 20 minutes before I would even get to the speaker just to order. This is typical of this location's service level for as long as I can remember. Ownership/management need to step up and correct the issues at this location or just close it. I'm honestly not sure how they've remained in business at this location for as long as they have. Hey! The food is great during breakfast, the dinner and lunch foods aren't as good in my opinion, I love Bojangles IF and ONLY IF I'm getting breakfast!! The good news is that they have breakfast all day! Went through the drive through tonight and ordered 3 orders of chicken tender meals. RIDICULOUS! Got home to find the chicken tenders were more like nuggets or chicken fries. Burned to a crisp an un-edible. I swear the biscuit weighed more than the 4 tenders combined. This is not the 1st time this has happened. I guess shame on me for going back. Waste of time and money. I used to go here all the time, until the area/district manager named Melissa came in and started to treat everyone like garbage. There's dozens of people in this neighborhood complaining about how rude she is, how she never gives them the correct order, how the food is cold or stale, and corporate refuses to do anything. She gets off on mistreating the teens that work there, and I have personally seen it in action. Two separate times I have contacted corporate, but they refused to believe me. This Bojangles use to be our family's go to for breakfast and dinner. We would walk in at any time of the day and see the same smiling faces already preparing our food before we would even make it to the cash register which is why this saddens me to write this review because unfortunately after my last visit Monday morning I won't be going back and neither will my family. The last few weeks every time we go in day or night our order has been incorrect and the one time we received the correct order we waited 15 minutes for our chicken tender dinner which caused the rest of our food to get cold. I will be contacting their corporate office so hopefully the issue can be resolved and we can return to our favorite local restaurant, as it stands right now even the convenience of it being a half mile from our home isn't worth the trouble of going there, we will be driving all the way to Clinton hwy from now on when we eat out. read more
