    Wings?
    Stefan M.

I'm used to the small wings but these were the smallest I've ever had. The wings were barely glazed with sauce and the blue cheese just wasn't on point.... Something was off. Are they under new management? I've followed from Old city to Powell to Clinton Hwy.... I'll give it another try and see what's up

Went to place a to-go order for dinner. The parking lot was a nightmare; lots of deep pot holes. The place was packed for Saturday night football. We spoke to a waitress and ordered 70 wings (40 teriyaki, 10 sweet chili, 10 medium, 10 lemon pepper, 10 garlic parmesan), some fried banana peppers, and some pretzel sticks with cheese. We were 'warned' by the waitress that the wings were very small, and she wasn't lying. The order was done within 5 minutes. When we got home, we discovered they forgot to give us the order of garlic parmesan wings. The wings were very delicious, but dry. The fried banana peppers were very addictive and delicious. The pretzel sticks were good, but the cheese sauce tasted like EXTREMELY watered down nacho cheese. Overall, the service was great, the food was okay. Since they were busy, it can be seen as a mistake that they forgot the parm/gar wings, but as for quality, they could do better.

When it comes to chicken wings, Wings Express has the right formula. The flavor of the hot sauce is on point and I love the quality of the chicken wings. Many people complain of the smallish size of the wings, because they are not large. However, the taste is great and is still reasonable value for the money. Located on Clinton Hwy, the atmosphere is very casual, with a "locals" vibe. The space is small, but there is outdoor seating on the covered patio and TVs to watch sporting events.

My first visit to Wings Xpress was not so good, since my two son's and I had to wait longer than normal for our order. Our second visit was much better our order was ready in less than 10 minutes. I must say that they do have the best made to order cheesecake bits and fried apple pie bits with powdered sugar on top. Wings Xpress has the best specials on fresh made to order catfish on Mondays and Fridays for less than $7.00.

My go to wing, beer, chill joint. Bill has got it down. My ole lady gets mad at me. I try to go eat here everyday of the week. My order : Tall beer. ( ICE COLD) Fried banana peppers 50 wings Hot and BBQ sometimes get a Sauce mix

This place is terrible. The wings are tiny and dry- hardly any sauce. We ordered 50 for a family of 4- that's a joke in itself. We didn't get any ranch that we asked for and paid extra for, and they left off a drink on our to-go order. With all the other wing joints in Knoxville we won't be back.

The wings are so small if you are a grown man might want to consider getting 30. Felt like I was eating crawfish. Most of the wings were barely bigger than my pinky.

This is my favorite place to eats wings. They are small but delicious and the prices are good too. I typically get 50 wings and share it with my dad accompanied by french fries. The french fries are in my top 5 favorites.

By far the hardest bland wings I've had in a long time. Definitely not worth it. Wouldn't recommend at all.

My husband and I came here for lunch on a Thursday and had our baby with us. Walking in we were warmly greeted by the hostess and brought to our table. She asked us if we wanted a low table or a high table and if we needed a sling or a high chair. Our server immediately came over and got our drink order and let us look over the menu. Their menu has a lot of really good options from sandwiches to pizza and hamburgers. I decided on the Italian beef sandwich and my husband got the Halas Burger. The food came out extremely fast and was hot and fresh. My sandwich was a roast beef sandwich with onions, peppers and cheese dipped in au jus and severed with a side of au jus and Giardiniera. It tasted great. The flavors all went really well together and the giardiniera added a great crunch and slight heat to the sandwich. I got onion rings as my side, which were hot and crunchy. The Halas burger was a burger patty topped with an onion ring, mozzarella and boom boom sauce. The patty was well cooked and fresh. With the onion ring and everything else it was a great burger. The fries that came with it were hot and had good flavor. Windy City is a great lace to come and get some good food. I can definitely see it being a great place to watch a game and have a drink or two with friends or coming and just grabbing some food and hanging out with friends or family. We will definitely be back to try more things.

I stood at the counter waiting while she was focused on texting on her phone and did not acknowledge me for an extended period. When she finally spoke, she simply asked, "Are you ordering?" and then continued looking at her phone throughout the interaction. Her attitude came across as rude and uninterested in helping customers. The restaurant itself was also not clean. The drink station was dirty, the cola machine appeared unclean, and the floors were sticky throughout the dining area. While there were several employees working, there seemed to be a lack of teamwork and professionalism. At one point, an employee was loudly yelling "Give me a second!" across the restaurant to another team member, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere for customers. Overall, the combination of poor customer service, employee distractions, and cleanliness issues made for a very negative experience. I will be hesitant to return unless significant improvements are made.

This is the place that officially made me a fried chicken fan -- and no fried chicken has ever come close to Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken! Address: 126 Lovell Rd, Farragut, TN 37934 Food: 6/5 My go-to meal is the 3-piece Chicken Tenders with French Fries and Baked Beans, with an added Chicken Breast. Gus's chicken is the best fried chicken I have ever had. It's perfectly cooked with an incredible crunch on the outside, while staying moist and juicy on the inside. The spices are absolutely delicious! I've been here over 15 times, and the consistency has always been amazing every single visit. The baked beans are also the best I've ever had. The French fries are seasoned perfectly with a great crunch while still having a fluffy texture inside. ‍Service: 6/5 The service at Gus's is top tier. Every server treats each table like they're the most important customers in the building. Special shoutout to Daisy -- the last few times I've visited, she has been my server, and she remembers me every time. She even knows my order by heart now! She is genuinely one of the nicest and best servers I've ever had at any restaurant. Atmosphere: 5/5 I absolutely love the vibes at Gus's. I always feel right at home whenever I walk in. The design and menu perfectly match the restaurant's personality, and the place is always clean with plenty of comfortable seating. Value: 5/5 The prices and portions are both an A+ for me. I ordered extra food this time, but you can easily get a fantastic and affordable meal here. Final Thoughts I absolutely love Gus's, and it will forever be one of my go-to spots before going to a movie. This is some of the best fried chicken you will ever have -- if not #1, then easily Top 3 of all time. Bring your family, let Daisy take care of you, and enjoy an incredible meal! Myrtle's finally did, and now I'm questioning every church potluck of my childhood. Where has this been hiding all these years? The tomato pie comes out in a hot little crock with a golden, bubbling crust that smells like grandma's kitchen if grandma was a world-class baker. Think cheesy, creamy, savory layers over tomatoes that taste like they've seen sunshine and prayer. It's rich without being heavy and hits that perfect spot between home cooking and something a chef bragged about in culinary school. If you come here and don't order it, you're robbing yourself. The fried chicken tenders are solid, the tea fine, and the vibe feels like a casual local spot where you can relax after wandering around Market Square. Service was friendly and fine for a not-so-busy afternoon. Still, I'd go back just for that tomato pie. Honestly, I might plan a trip around it. If Myrtle's ever puts out a cookbook, I'd buy it just to see whether there's a secret ingredient or just generations of Southern guilt that kept this dish from me. Order the tomato pie. Trust me.
