Reduced hours 7am to 7pm. Was in a 10+ car line in drive thru for 40+ mins. Watched the night manager walk outside the restaurant to tell someone on the other line that "she is not there to run a daycare!". When I got to the drive-thru window, not a single apology. You would think a chicken place would know the difference between dark and white. Then missing the gravy from the potatoes. This restaurant is the absolute worst. There's no way to list how many times they closed the drive-through because there's no one to make any food! I keep hoping the management will improve so it's my fault for continuing to go there, really. They are now closing at 7pm during the week--but were actually closed at 6:40pm when I pulled through. I love Bo Jangles food, but their service is really bad. I pretty much order the same thing every time, and they get it wrong about 9 out of 10 times. Today drive though window conversation went like this... Ordering "I want a ham egg and cheese biscuit with EXTRA HAM please." At the window "did you add the extra ham I asked for?" "yes" Checking the order at the window. "hey you guys did it again, I ordered ham egg and cheese with extra ham and you gave me only ham. When I entered there was two employees in the lobby, one was braiding the others hair. They stopped and the girl that was braiding the hair took my order, then she proceeded to put my sandwich in the bag and then scoop my fries and place them in the bag, but she never washed her hands before she took my order or before she touched my food. I politely asked for a refund and she did the transaction but did not give me a receipt. I asked her for a receipt and she said "over some fucking hair". She and I had a verbal exchange and I asked a male employee who I presumed to be a manager to give me a receipt. While he was trying to give me a receipt, the employee was at the drive thru cursing at me saying "fuck me." We had another heated exchange and the manager asked me to be quiet and I told him to him to tell his employee to be quiet, he never said one word to the employee. I asked him if this is the type of employees he hires and if he condones this behavior? He never replied, he just gave me my recepit and applogized. This is not my first time having a bad experience at this Bojangles. I will never go back and I will let everyone I know to stay away from this Bojangles. This is the worst bojangles in Charlotte. Always rude, disorganized and don't get me started on the food. The fries are Either cold or flash fried meaning they are cooked, not used so they get cold then get thrown back into the fryer to get them warm again which actually just makes them hard and greasy. This location is usually pretty good, but I was very disappointed this evening. The biscuits were INEDIBLE. Less than 1/2 inch thick, and hard as rocks. Whoever made them forgot the baking soda! Also, even though they asked what kind of sauce I wanted with my 12 pc Supremes, they didn't give me any. And the Picnic size coleslaw was barely half full. Bojangles used to be one of my favorite fast food restaurants. Recently, I have noticed that the restaurants in the Charlotte area including this one have been extremely dirty inside and out. The service has really slipped and the food isn't as fresh as it used to be. I'm the owner of a small business in Charlotte and I know how tough it can be to hire good help, but Bojangles needs to make a better effort.
