The guy that took our order was super chill and even gave recs for the spice level my group and I should get. All the food took about 10 mins to be prepared. We were able to grab a seat in the dining area while we waited. We got a variety of sliders, tenders, and fries. All the ingredients were fresh ingredients and the fries were crunchy and seasoned well. I appreciate that they don't skimp on the sauce if you need more. It forced me to drive the wrong way, luckily no cars were coming head on. Upon coming in, the lighting was funky and the walls all had graffiti! It was pretty cool, but VERY busy visually. Lots to look at. The cashier was soooo kind! I wish I got her name. She took our order and we seated ourselves. Tables were all clean and they had a good variety of 2 seaters, 4 seaters, etc. They had music playing inside while you eat, and workers going around occasionally cleaning up! They have a "pick up" window that opens the window to the outside, it's very unique and I would've liked to see how it worked but I wasn't paying much attention. They have catering boxes which could be fun if you have a large party to host! My cheese fries were really good! They weren't crispy or crunchy, but that isn't a requirement for me. The dill pickles, delish! Pair perfectly with hot chicken. I got the "hot" level of heat and it was perfect for me. I typically enjoy lots of spice and it was just enough to sting my lips and keep them burning. Their sauce was interesting, I can't even pinpoint the flavor. It wasn't my favorite though. I'm generally not a tenders kinda guy but Dave's has me rethinking my opinion. The tenders here are big, juicy, crispy and the hot chicken seasoning is on point. I've gone up to the hot range and it's spicy for sure but doesn't blow my head off. Most of the time I go for medium and am happy. The menu is simple and limited which I say is a good thing. Me and my husband LOVE Dave's!! My husband only eats halal, so how convenient is it that we can get fried chicken sandwiches right in the neighborhood!?! We always get the # 2 (2 sliders and fries) and share it because the sandwiches are so huge. Worst customer service! I have been vegetarian for over 10 years. I went and ordered the cauliflower tenders as I usually do, but this time when I ordered they mistakenly gave me chicken. I didn't realize until I already got home and took my first bite. The cauliflower and the chicken look very similar. I was very upset and called the restaurant to make it right. I decided to drive back to the store and on the way I called and asked to speak with a manager. I told the manager about what happened and was very disappointed with her response. All I wanted was a refund and for them to remake me my order. Now I'm wasting my gas heading back to the store. ****UPDATE**** because of my previous 3 star and less than impressed review, Dave's reached out to me to offer me to give them another shot courtesy of them. So I came and redeemed my free order and they definitely got it right this time. It was DELICIOUS!! I tried Hot level and my nose is running and mouth burning so that's definitely a good sign lol. Came out piping hot temperature wise too, all in all I'm glad I gave them another shot and they now have earned a continued customer with me.
