When I saw what happened to the 70+ year old woman who died as a result of a dispute of some type at Tom Horton's in Indiana, I had to write this review. I ordered a Cobb salad from this store and when I got home, I discovered my favorite salad dressing was missing. I reported this via the website, but called the store and spoke with a female employee who was in charge. I explained what had happened and was advised to return to the store. I informed her about gas prices and the cost to me of driving back. After I arrived back, the female in charge came to me with packages of salad dressing and a hand full of money not only for my order, but the other order that was included with mine. Explaining that I did not want the money, she convinced me to take it. When I looked at my online account, I discovered that she had given me 3 or 4 Cobb salads for free. No fuss, no fight, just pure kindness and goodness. I cannot express in words how much her act of kindness meant to me. This is exactly how it should be done. This is exactly how to turn a disagreement into an opportunity to resolve a dispute without violence. Thank you Chic fil a. Thank you to the kind female in charge that night. read more

After we started eating they were calling out my name and i told the gentlemen that we got our food. He stated that we should go ahead and take it because if we didn't take it they would throw it away anyways. He was an elderly man and was so sweet and friendly. You have to check your bag before you drive away tonight I didn't do so I got $19 worth of food to eat while I'm on the road tonight no straw, and no dip for my chicken strips. They have a big trouble with that dip, I guess because the last three times I've gone there it's not been in the bag. I was amazed because it's such a simple thing to remember to do. New Mobile Lane???, may be good for those who use it but for us that don't we end up waiting a long time. Have come to expect a very organized ordering and drive thru lines, first come first serve. However, seeing the Mobile Lane operate this morning for the first time, we were first in line and ended up watching 5 cars in that Mobile Lane get their order ahead of us. You also don't get your food at the drive thru window. Someone has to bring it to you. I spoke with the manager to voice my concern, and she said they are trying to integrate it. I suppose there are some of us who while on the road decide to go to a drive thru restaurant and don't want to pull up an app while driving to order. Visited the Mountain Island CFA last Saturday after work. First, the girl working the drive through sounded like she just woke up, there was no greeting, no enthusiasm just a flat voice on a speaker. I had just got off a 12hour shift, so I chose to ignore that and go ahead and order. I ordered a sausage muffin with egg white and I received a muffin with sausage AND grilled chicken and no egg white and soggy tots to go with it. As you can imagine I was extremely disappointed when I opened the bag at home and had no desire to drive back so I ate cereal. I completed the survey that same day and I have yet to response. I live about 10 minutes away from both the Mountain Island and Northlake location. Since having to go to the MI location due to the Northlake one being shut down, in the beginning I thought this was the better location. However more recently when I've visited, my meal has been disappointing or missing something. One time my nuggets were missing, I had to go back in the drive thru which took about 10 mins and when I got to the window there was no apology no consideration for the mistake. CFA is known for their consistency and good service and I received neither of those things on this visit. This location is becoming careless and sloppy. read more

Came in to redeem my free peach milkshake. First time at this location now that they've moved. Used to be directly in front of Walmart, sharing a parking lot, but now across the street in Riverbend Village. They have a good drive thru flow and of course dining rooms are still closed due to COVID. The drive thru workers aren't wearing masks anymore. They have drive thru overflow parking on the opposite side of the building. Genius. So if someone at the window is waiting on items from their order, they can pull to the other side and park near the dining room door to wait for them to be brought out. No longer a huge fan of chick fil a we decided to opt in for a quick lunch because we were short on time. We ordered our usual and decided to try the mango passion tea which is a few dollars more than a regular Coke. They're very stingy with the portion as they don't even fill it up all the way and they LOAD it with ice! After we finished our meals I thought I'd go back to the counter and ask for a refill of my under filled mango passion tea. The kid behind the counter told me they don't give refills on that tea (which doesn't make sense) so I just told him to refill my cup with Coke. A NOSEY BLK kid that was in the vicinity MADE SURE the kid charged me for a Coke because he noticed the kid was going to just fill my small cup with soda. Not very "CHICK-FIL-A Like", I went ahead and paid $3.00 for a Coke because apparently this BLK kid felt he wanted to assert his insignificant authority into our business. Not a good move. Came here as a treat for myself af I rarely eat out for breakfast during the week. It was a Friday so why not? I realized that I should have ordered through the app by the look if the liner wrapped around the restaurant and the time. It was roughly 10:30 am. Ordering through the app is easy, simple and so convenient. But I neglected to think about that so here I was. I decided to walk in and not wait in the long line. It was empty inside except for two other ladies. I walked right up and Dre took my order. He was pleasant and greeted me with a smile. He continued to say "my pleasure"and we joked about that. I waited a few minutes for my order and was out the door. Before I left, I asked for a water. One employee behind the counter didn't look too happy. Im not totally sure why but I felt like it was directed at me but I could be wrong. She may have felt some way about me taking pictures of the restaurant but I could be looking too fat into it. Lastly, my chicken egg and cheese bagel was great. I just wish they wouldn't burn the bagel when they toast it. I will come back again. read more

This Chick-fil-A is known as the Mountain Island Chick-fil-A, named after the lake/suburb/neighborhood northwest of Charlotte. On the way back to Atlanta on I-485, I saw a sign for restaurants at exit 16 (NC 16 (Brookshire Boulevard) - Newton), so we stopped at this Chick-fil-A for lunch. It's located near a big/busy intersection with several shopping centers and fast food chain restaurants, in front of a Walmart Supercenter. In terms of building and layout, this Chick-fil-A is almost an exact carbon copy of one of the Chick-fil-A stores I frequent in Marietta, Georgia: the East Lake Chick-fil-A (https://www.yelp.com/biz/chick-fil-a-marietta-9). It's got an indoor playground for kids and a sizable dining room. I ordered what I usually get from the Chick-fil-A near my office: a spicy chicken sandwich meal. Here, it cost $6.49 plus tax and included the sandwich, waffle fries, and a drink (I got half sweet/half unsweet tea). As usual, this meal hit the spot for me. Everything was consistent with other Chick-fil-A locations I've had this meal at with the exception of the bun. The bun here was harder, dryer, and held its shape better than perhaps any Chick-fil-A sandwich bun I've had before. You can kind of tell if you look at my pictures. The bun isn't as squished as it normally is. My fiancee got the Cobb salad with chicken nuggets and apple cider vinaigrette for $7.39 plus tax (no side or drink included). It was delicious. The salad came with Romaine lettuce and baby greens, corn, shredded jack and cheddar cheeses, bits of bacon and egg, and grape tomatoes. It also came with a pack of charred tomato crispy red bell peppers. The veggies were fresh and crisp. My fiancee mixed the salad well and everything was flavorful (with the dressing and nuggets, how could it not be?). Service was good. We visited on a Wednesday around 1:30pm and the restaurant was busy, inside and out (drive-thru). Most of the parking spots were taken. I'd come back. read more

What has happened to Chick-Fil-A???? Used to grab food from here all the time. My most recent visit after grabbing one of the dogs from the vet was appalling. Went for the sole purpose of getting a pup cup and one chicken sandwich. I go through the drive through and go to order only to find out this location does not do pup cups anymore. I GET THAT AND IM FINE WITH IT. My issue is that I asked to order a milkshake with whipped cream only, I'm willing to pay the ridiculous price of a milkshake just for the whipped cream. I am told that I cannot order for my dog! I argue that you can't tell me what I can order or who I give it to, they refuse to allow my purchase of a milkshake with only whipped cream. I was scolded by two employees one trainer in line physically training a new employee and one manager at the window. One decent employee apologized when I explained what was happening to me. If I want to order one of everything on the menu and then drive to Freddy's beside you and throw it away then I should be able to. Banning me from ordering a pup cup loophole that cost me a fortune was ridiculous and petty. I will not be ordering from this location personally or for company breakfast/lunches. A complete mess and poor excuse for a meal, where is the rest of the chicken?! How do you mess that up?! I have not touched this. This was taken right out of the bag. I called and spoke with the manager and they refused to refund the salad over the phone and wanted me to drive back to the store in person. Very disappointed with the effort to make this right. I placed a breakfast order online at 10am, my husband headed to the restaurant to pick up the order, we live about 5 minutes away. Upon arrival he was told that they didn't have the order. After reviewing and calling the manager they found the order and said it wasn't made because it hadn't been paid for and that they don't make any orders until they are paid. This was a complete lie because I ordered through their app and you can't place an order unless it's paid in full. My husband called me and I had him go back into the restaurant and get the manager on the phone. I told him what are you talking about it wasn't paid, it's showing the full amount pending in my checking account. He then admitted that he had canceled the order which was before the 10:30 shutdown for breakfast so that they could start their lunch orders. Then proceeded to tell me that the amount won't post to my account and to keep watching it that it should drop off and I won't be charged. Which is another lie, it will stay on there for the entire day holding up my funds until the next business day. He then had the nerve to ask if we would like to purchase lunch? He didn't even offer us free lunch from his prank! No thank you but why lie and say that the order hadn't been paid for when you actually canceled the order. Is this how you treat your customers? Had a lovely experience with a worker named Zee. They made sure we were well cared for, and cleaned the windows on the doors so well that I almost ran into them! They were so kind and put up with all the times we asked for extra water, etc. and brought a coloring activity book for my son. I will DEFINITELY be eating here again in the future. read more

We try to visit a Chick-fil-A every time we visit North Carolina! So of course after landing at 8:05am, we came here for breakfast! We used their drive through and it was so pleasant. Their employees are always so welcoming and nice to talk to even in an early morning. I think that's one of the reasons we like Chick-fil-A in NC so much more. I think we all know their food is delicious. We had Chick-n-Minis (sweet and savory. So yum!) and a Chick-fil-A Chicken Biscuit. They also gave my dog a dog treat! Great food and service! This is review for their drive through. What is it about Chick-fil-A? No matter if it is for breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack or dinner. The drive through are always packed at the drive through. They have a system here that is like you wish this was the standard protocol at every drive through. Two girls out with an ipad walking to cars to greet them and ask for your order with a beautiful smile. Drive further down. A woman rings you ups- Life does not get any better than this. By the time you get to the actual drive through window, they hand you your soft drinks, bag of heavenly treats, and sends you on your merry way. Talk about customer service, point of interaction and transaction. KA- BOOM! Restaurants and retailers can use some of Chick-fil-A training on customer service. That's why they are Number #1 and even bypass Kentucky Fried Chicken. read more

Honestly can't say I can actually be a fan of Chick-Fil-A, but this place has nothing wrong! I enjoy the food here, just not a fast food type of person. I came here early early morning to pick up some breakfast for my parents. They were helpful, courteous, and nice. I didn't have any problem with them and didn't get my order wrong (I would hope not since I was the first customer.) If you're craving for a fast food joint, I think Chick Fil A could be the healthiest out of the choices. I'm not a fan of fast food so that's why I'm going to give them 3 stars. read more
