She was professional and patient, as I made changes right up to the day before the event. When all was said and done, it looked even more beautiful than I had imagined, and Stephanie was there to flip the room from ceremony to reception FLAWLESSLY! I was very disappointed in the bouquet that I sent this week. In talking to the representative, I requested a colorful, happy bouquet to send to my friends. What they received was a light colored pink rose that was totally opened, with white Calla lily's and ferns. There was no color, and to me it was not a "happy" bouquet that had been requested. I had called on Monday and requested delivery on Wednesday so that there would be an opportunity for them to prepare for the delivery as requested. I called the afternoon of the delivery to tell them if my displeasure and was told that the manager was out and would call me back. I heard nothing. What a disappointment!!! The flowers I ordered through FTD were not at all what I expected. Half of the flower looked on the verge of dying. We tried to call and explain our displeasure but were met with a rude and disinterested rep who told us to call FTD directly. FTD was very helpful and is sending a new bouquet. Needs a lot of work with customer service, do not recommend for weddings. This business started out being very kind and fantastic prior to receiving our money and ended up being a disaster.There were never any contracts to be signed just a simple proposal with what we wanted and pricing. We then met with the owner in august to discuss the final details and she made us aware of our final payment for 8/27 on 8/27 our dog passed away so we were unable to make our payment due to the distraction of his passing. The owner never once emailed sending condolences but rather sent and email asking when we would give our final payment and that she would not order our wedding flowers until then, our wedding being 9/18. Then Friday 9/17 we went to pick up our bouquets and when we arrived home noticed that the ribbon wrapped around the arrangement was minimal and some stems were cut significantly shorter than others, not being well supported by the ribbon and risking the flowers falling out. So we called Bokay and spoke with the owner and explained. We were dismissed and told that the ribbon placement we had anticipated was "not the industry's standards," and if we wanted the ribbon wrapped more we should've mentioned it. She then fixed the issue when we told her we were coming with the floral. But never sought to understand what we wanted when we arrived. We provided them with photos of what we wanted and had some add -ones as well. We opted to have votive candles added to our centerpieces. On our wedding day, we noticed the votive candles were never placed on our tables. We were not refunded since they had to pick up the panels we didn't return which we were unaware was our responsibility to return (never mentioned or in writing). Poor communication and customer service overall with lots of unnecessary stress. read more

I respect their right to do that, but I also respect equality and I choose to take my business elsewhere. Thank you so much for your kindness! I ordered flowers for my grandmother's 90th birthday online because I wasn't going to be able to make it there personally for the big day. In the special remarks tab, I asked them to give her a hug for me, never imaging anyone actually even read that. She wasn't there when they delivered, so the delivery person hugged the staff at the assisted living facility & asked them to pass it along, and then they proceeded to send dozens of hugs her way. For the price, I payed it was not I got pretty ripped off. I called my local florist, BOKAY, who had to use FTD flowers because my order was out of their delivery area and they sent it to the closest location. I ordered a vase of spring flowers for my son to give to his fiance. What I got was a cheap funeral basket with a spring bow. When I wanted to refuse them, the driver became verbally outraged. "Who doesn't want flowers?"- He insisted I sign for them despite my objections and squawked all the way out of my neighborhood, calling me names and making a spectacle of himself. (The floral failure was not his fault, but he handled it poorly) My local florist at Bokay called them to make it right and correct the order and they were unprofessional to her! BOKAY made it right for me and the owner, Colleen, personally called me back, told me she would deliver a nice bouquet as ordered- free of charge. Horrible customer service!! Did not deliver flowers that were ordered online for Valentine's Day. Did not bother to call to say they wouldn't be able to make delivery. Didn't answer phone all day on Valentine's Day when I called to check the status about 20 times. Did not return any of multiple voicemails. We found this Bokay florist, about a month before our wedding date (yah, pretty late). They were very accommodating with what we required and made very good suggestions on what they could offer us to go with what we had in mind, 'simple but classy' . I told them what I wanted, and they delivered! We had our wedding at Indiana Roof Ballroom, and the flower arrangement definitely brought our vision to life. Disappointed, I'm not from IN, I found BoKay online and chose them for their close proximity to the recipient, I thought calling an ordering an arrangement through a florist would yield better results than an online vendor. I was wrong in this case, the arrangement was not as I had hoped at all. Today I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my daughter for her birthday through the FTD website. They chose Bokay Florist to fulfill the order. I received an email from FTD at 2:13pm stating the flowers had been delivered but they had not been. I called her employer who said the delivery person didn't leave them because she requested he give her a contact number which he had even though he said he didn't. I called the florist and they said they would get them delivered. At 3:45pm they hadn't arrived so I called and they said the owner was leaving to deliver them. At 4:30pm they still had not arrived so I called again and was told she left at 4:15pm to deliver them. At 4:45pm I called and asked that the owner call me, she did not nor did my daughter ever receive her flowers. Not only did they fail to provide the service they were paid for, they lied to me every time I called. What horrible customer service! read more

My husband ordered flowers, for me, for Mother's Day on Bokay's website. What was shown and was I received where 2 different things (the disclaimer says you will get what's on the site). The one I received was smaller with less flowers but still at the same price. He ordered them the Wednesday before Mother's Day. He received a note on Thursday saying they would be received the Monday after. Tuesday late afternoon I finally received them (almost a week after he ordered). Final straw was this morning...over half of them are dead (less than a week after I got them but apparently they made them and left them in the cooler for almost a week)! I filled out a contact form about the timing and the picture not being what I received last Wednesday and no one has contacted me or my husband to date. I received the most beautiful flower arrangement from Bokay at the hospital after having my baby boy. The vase, flowers, and artistic arrangement were not only beautiful, buts lasted upwards of two weeks. The staff has always been polite, helpful, and considerate. The church holding a family member's funeral gave me the name of Bokay so that I might have a plant and flower bouquet delivered for the service since I live very far away. I stated and the invoice shows that the arrangement should be white with some deep blue or purple for a man's funeral. The arrangement that arrived was bright red and yellow---something you would send for a cheer-up or birthday. I was horrified. Bokay says that it will refund 20% which is nice, but it doesn't help with the time that I've had to take today to write apologies to family members and to be on the phone with Bokay (long distance and placed on hold to talk with owner who didn't pick up). I'm still stunned that a) the designer didn't read the order; and b) the delivery person didn't at least ask about why delivering a red/yellow and bright bouquet to a funeral. read more

This is one of the most unprofessional wedding vendor I have ever delt with. If you are looking for a smooth and happy wedding day where your vendors know how to communicate, please please please don't waste your time with these people. We started talking to Colleen with Bokay and she promised us that our wedding day would be amazing. A few weeks before the wedding, Stephanie (the manger) started reaching out to us and asking for the remaining balance to be paid. No invoice. No acknowledgement or deduction for the deposit that was already paid. No communication as to the "final meeting" that is required before the final payment is due. After making updates the the contract, we were never sent updated versions. They showed up to our house to decorate with no contract on hand. When we asked them to send us a signed copy of the contract because there were disagreements about what we agreed to, they never provided it. We asked over five times and still no contract. They showed up to decorate the isle at 4pm ( as the guests were already arriving). The wedding planner confirmed them for 2pm. But I guess that didn't mean much. After Stephanie started getting involved, there was an utter lack of communication between Colleen and Stephanie. We asked multiple times for the flowers to be left for us to use later. But, the team at Bokay took all of our wedding flowers and threw them away without our permission. If you want peace of mind.....NEVER use Bokay as your wedding florist. read more

I ordered the FTD Sweet Devotion Bouquet for a friend's mother for her 80th birthday. I had the arrangement sent to my office and I was going to take them with me to her birthday celebration after I got off from work. The flowers were delivered to the front desk, and the desk delivered them to my office. I was horrified when I saw the arrangement of pink and lilac roses which were on their last life, fully opened with brown edges. Everyone in my office could not believe that a florist would deliver such an arrangement, which is obviously a representation of Bokay Florist. I also ordered the upgraded (BEST) arrangement, which this so called arrangement was not. I immediately called FTD who ask if they could have another arrangement delivered, would that be ok and I agreed. The FTD customer service person said that he could not find a florist in the area who could deliver that same day and he also said that he called Bokay and they refused to provide another arrangement. He then said that FTD would refund me the amount of the arrangement and I ask should I take it back to Bokay and he said that wasn't necessary. I then received a call from FTD at my office the following Sunday and said that they would only refund me 20% of the order. At this point I'll take the loss and tell everyone about my experience with Bokay. Needless to say that I did not take the arrangement with me and had to scramble after work to find another gift. Fortunately, I had the arrangement sent to my office and not directly to her birthday celebration, which could have been awkward and embarrassing. read more

I called and ordered 2 bouquets of flowers, in vases and 1 balloon bouquet to be delivered to my daughter in college. I was on their website as I was placing the order, so I ordered from the pictures. I was told they didn't have one of the particular vases but they could substitute it for a green one and I said that was fine as long as the flowers were the same, I was told that would be no problem. The 2nd bouquet showed daisies with carnations, I said I didn't want carnations and she suggested using roses, I said that would be great, as long as the colors were the same. I ordered the "best" for both bouquets, the first was $65 and the second $75. My daughter sent me pictures of them and they looked nothing like the pictures! There were lilies in the arrangement of the first one, but none opened and it looked like they had randomly been shoved in the vase, very messy. The arrangement with the roses and daisies contained no daisies and had these big white mum looking things totally overpowering the roses, the red roses that were suppose to be pink! I called them and told them I was very disappointed with both arrangements and told them why and she argued with me about them and even told me there WERE daisies in with the roses, which I could not see 1 in the picture! She told me she would give me a 20% credit since I wasn't happy. I sent my daughter pictures of what they were suppose to look like and she couldn't believe the difference!
