I ended up buying the model E500 with the treadmill option which took a few weeks to build and deliver to my house and In the meantime the contractor prepared a area in my back yard. The spa was then craned from the street and over my two story house to the site with no problem. The second time he showed up I spoke with him, he had very poor communication skills and got worked up. He clearly had not looked at the hot tub as he tried dismantling my deck as opposed to simply lifting a deck access gate. He began to make me feel completely uncomfortable so I asked him to leave. The customer service at Lifestyle Outdoors really wasn't bothered and rescheduled for 2-weeks out with another technician. I asked if there was anything they could do to have it serviced sooner and they said no. I explained I would leave a yelp review for this and the customer service rep told me that was fine. So this is for extremely poor customer service.

There is now a ghastly looking visible patchwork looking circle around the light fixture. He didn't even bother to replace the cover with the white covering, it's just a dark metal cover. We asked if he could repair it to look like new, but he said nope too bad. That's the best he could do. It's appalling spending all this money on a pool and for them to leave you with a giant blemish and a flippant attitude about it. I do NOT recommend hiring this company. We are so disappointed.

If I'm being honest I've actually been more impressed with Avanti and Bernard more when it comes to the latter which is what I'm basing this review on. If I were reviewing on the process of building/permitting it would be a different score for sure. So again this is based on the final product and support afterwords. IMO Bernard is an old school pool builder, he knows what needs to be done, how to do it, and doesn't overcomplicate things. He stays calm and works on solutions instead of trying to find a way to blame others. There are some drawback to that in that he does a lot verbally and just gets it done, but sometimes that leads to miscommunications. This happened a few times during the building process, each time I was like oh no here we go it's going to be a fight. But each time he impressed me and just solved it quickly and efficiently. I've waited a couple of years since my pool was built to review because I knew we'd inevitably run into problems. Everyone talks about their great warranty until you have a problem. Then they usually start with the cost of the call or why this is your fault or why that particular component isn't covered, diagnosis fees etc. That has absolutely not been the case with Bernard. I've had weird electronic issues that he's walked me through resetting, I've had a light go out a year and a half after completion, ordered within 10 minutes of me texting him and installed within a week. Just recently I'm having water flow sensor issues which I was almost sure wouldn't be covered, instead of what I was sure was going to be bad news he again texted me back within 10 minutes, asked a couple basic questions, and said yes it's covered I know what it is and ordered the part. To me this is a 10/10 builder. The finished product is beautiful and has really impressed me over the past couple of years. He really made my vision come to life and convinced me we could do it even though I was doubtful with the tiny space we have. He completely transformed my backyard from a place we spent almost no time to an oasis we absolutely love. I received about 7 quotes before we decided to go with Bernard. His pricing was super competitive and I believe a lot of that was due to the fact I was speaking to an owner instead of a middleman salesman. Over two years later and I'm 100% sure I made the correct decision.

He was patient and knowledgeable, which we really appreciated because my husband always has a thousand questions. Jake prepared us well for what to expect with the process, and his electrician recommendation was great. Delivery was faster than we ever expected. We got our jacuzzi almost a week and a half early. Because of the over hang in on our house we needed a crane for the installation, and the delivery crew was just as professional and helpful as Jake. Surprisingly the crane was much cheaper than I expected when I heard we might need a crane. We called around to compare, and Hydro Spa had by far the best pricing, especially with their 4th of July sale. They have been a family-owned business for 40 years, and you can tell these guys love what they do. We are sooooo excited! Thanks Jake & the Hydro Spa Team! Y'all are the GOATS!

By the way, it's an excellent product and I only wish my cars worked as well as it did. But it does need maintenance work when the heater coil or motors finally, wear out. Remember, it's working 24 seven! As for Hydro Spa, they have always come out in one or two days, diagnosed the problem correctly and usually are able to fix it the same day or the next if they need to get a part. Their prices are fair (though it's been a very long time since I used any other company.) As I said, It's like maintaining a car that isn't broken, but occasionally needs expected maintenance. But the big thing is, they are honest and they fix it right the first time. I highly recommend them if you ever have a problemwith yollur spa or Jacuzzi.

The pump motor quit working So I called up looking for parts and they told me they don't sell parts but they'll sell me a new pump motor. I went to the Amazon website and purchased a 50 MF Round capacitor for $17 I removed the two screws On top of the pump motor revealing the housing for the capacitor I removed the two wires going to the capacitor, discharged it by bridging the terminals with a screwdriver and then installed my $17 Capacitor. turned the power back on and the repair was complete. They knew this. They are in the business for crying out loud.
