Non responsive, careless work. Russel installed new glass in existing windows and left behind visible debris between the glass panes. He agreed to re do it and make it right and then ghosted. No answer, no return calls, no show. I finally gave up. A few months later the glass he replaced all turned cloudy. This was a while ago and I never wrote a review but every time I look out those windows it reminds me of the bad service. I'm writing a review to warn others so they know. Great experience! 02/08/18. Russell set up appointment to come out and give an estimate to replace 1/2 of patio window. He was professional and courteous and understood we had to present the estimate to our landlord. landlord super appreciative of cost and approach to remedy the fogged window. Russell came out a few weeks later to install on a Friday. The crew called that afternoon to reschedule for that Sunday, as their current job ran into difficulty (totally understandable). We thought we had a leaky wooden window frame. Russell came within 10 days to take a look. He told us the window was fine but we did have a leak from the deck above. He looked inside and out, up and down, gave the whole window a good inspection and advised us on addressing the leak first. He didn't really see anything wrong with the window at this time. He was great and he didn't charge us anything for coming out. If I ever do need to have these old windows repaired, I would definitely call Window Repair. read more

Russel came out and quoted the job at a reasonable price. In the day we arranged, his guys did come out and repair the windows but when I looked at the job, they didn't repair all the rotten spots. I tried to contact Russel by phone and he would never answer, left a test message and he never answered. Finally I texted saying I was going to leave a poor review on BBB and then he responded. We set up a day for a worker to come back and he said he would get back with me about a time, that never happened. The day before the scheduled day, I texted to get a time and he just said it would be in the morning. I watched this repair and all they do is dig out some rotten wood and wood putty over it. This doesn't seem like a great way to repair things, I'll do it next time. I would not use these guys again. read more

Russel was fantastic!!! He replaced a new sill and sash on two of my windows that were rotting. His worker was extremely detail oriented and very respectful. One week later. I noticed that I was having problems opening the windows so I called Russell. He couldn't have been nicer. We see a date for 10 days later to have it adjusted. Deadbeat contractor. After coming out for a quote and promises of follow-ups, Russell became non-responsive. Didn't return calls, rescheduled multiple times, and ultimately didn't show up without even calling to cancel. Strung me on and wasted my time for over a month. EDIT: After the bad review, the owner called to tell me he and a few of his employees had been on vacation. I get that, but as a small business owner, I would never leave without notifying potential customers rather than leaving them hanging. They also offered a discount so I gave them a second chance. They came out next day and did a good job, finishing same day as requested. Final verdict is that I'll find someone else to fix eight other windows and a door just to avoid the headache. read more

These guys are the best. We have all casement windows in our house and most of the them had trouble closing/opening. We knew they were old but they were good windows. All the contractors we called wanted to just give us new windows, which we were against. These guys came out and didn't try to sell us new windows. They insisted that they could repair them all. They worked hard on our windows, at first thye didn't lke the stain that they used so they went out and took off the the stain and reapplyed a different color to more closely match. They also stand by their work. We had them back twice to address a couple small things. They didn't even question it. They came back right away and address the problem. Didn't pay another dime...... I can go on and on but the fact is, these guy know what they are doing and the stand by their work. I also believe that the price they charged was fair for the work they did. read more

Russell and his guys did a fantastic job fixing a rotted out section on our Pella slider. They came right on time, fixed the door, primed/painted the repaired section, reinstalled it, and left after they cleaned everything up. I usually don't write reviews, but after the hassle I went through, I believe others need to be careful who they hire. We made an appointment with Russel to come and look at our windows that needed to be fixed. He seemed professional and seemed to know what he was talking about, we pointed out the windows that needed to be fixed and replaced, he marked it all down and told us he would be able to send his workers to do the job and he quoted us a great price, all seemed well. We scheduled for someone to come and fix the windows, two men showed up and not even 30 minutes within the time they arrived, I was told they needed to go buy some equipment, which I found odd, but I was confident they knew what they were doing. An hour passed and they never came back, nor did I receive a call. I called Russell and no answer, I had to leave a message. I had an appointment somewhere and I was already running late because I was still waiting. I was very disappointed and upset, I never received a call back. I finally called after a couple of days or so, and Russell stated he left a voicemail on my husbands number earlier that day, but never bothered contacting me. Russel never explained why his workers never returned nor apologized, and I told him if the job couldn't be done then he needed to return our money. He stated he would have someone available right away, which he did, a week later he sent the same workers, which I wasn't so pleased with, but I still tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. They started working on our windows and finished on most of it. The worker then told me that unfortunately he couldn't replace the window, which I found very weird, how did they not know how to do their job? I got upset and asked why did Russell tell us one thing, and they were saying another. His response was, we aren't licensed to do the window, my only thought was, if they weren't licensed then why was I told by Russell they could replace it in the first place. I was furious by then, and I couldn't believe what I was being told. I did pretty much threatened to not pay the rest of the amount due because they weren't finishing the job, I tried calling Russell and he didn't answer. So I told the worker to leave. He returned within minutes stating Russell was on the phone wanting to speak with me. I spoke with Russell, who had no solid explanation whatsoever on why they couldn't replace the window he only said, they couldn't replace it. It was very unprofessional and aggravating to deal with this company and I personally don't recommend them whatsoever. I don't trust them at all, and I will be reporting them to the better business bureau, something I've never had to do. But a company should know what they are doing and the fact that they don't seem to know, only makes me think they shouldn't be in business! I do have to say, they did give me the glass for free, but that's probably because I had already threatened to not pay the amount due! I finally had the window replaced by an amazing and trustworthy company, who I wish I had contacted before!! After several unsuccessful calls to Pella for service on my windows, I decided to give Window Repair a try based on the glowing Yelp reviews. I was not disappointed! I had one crank out arm replaced & 6 windows adjusted for sticking issues on my 20+ year old Pella windows. My service techs, Caleb & Evan were pleasant, hardworking and did a great job. We have a hexagonal window that was rotting on both the window and the window sill. All of our other windows were recently replaced and it was hard to find someone able to do just one, irregular window for a fair price. I called window repair inc about a week ago. The owner came the following day to inspect the window and give an estimate. He scheduled the work for one week later. The repair was done yesterday and took about 4hrs. They repaired the window and the window sill by measuring the rotted pieces of wood and creating new identical pieces. The window looks like new now. He even called and came out to touch up the paint job because the day he did the repair was cloudy with occasional showers and he wasn't satisfied with a few yellow spots left by the rain! We used this company to replace some standard size windows and a custom window. They did a great job in the end but I probably wouldn't use them again as it was a bit of a hassle. In total I think we were waiting around for the on 5 different occasions which is pretty difficult with both of us working and a young child. Day 1) they came to measure the windows Day 2) they were meant to come one day and they called and cancelled the night before but we had already made arrangements and taken off work Day 3) they were meant to come but called and cancelled as they got into an accident and broke the glass (could be true, who knows) Day 4) they fitted the windows apart from one that they broke Day 5) they came back to fit the remaining window. We might just have been unlucky with these guys and they might be great for you but me personally I probably wouldn't use them again. To be fair they did a good job in the end and the price was fair.
