I only stopped by after seeing a sign for a farmer's market on Saturday morning while I was at Bommarito Bakery. This is a cute neighborhood garden nursery. You will find garden supplies inside and a nice selection of plants outside. It is worth the stop if you are in St. Clair Shores, especially on the weekend when there is the small "farmer's market" with very fresh-looking fruits and vegetables.

I come here weekly during the summer and fall months to get all of my produce. The prices are competitive with local chain groceries stores and I love to support this friendly, small family owned business. They are open daily from 9am- 5pm and closed on Tuesdays from Mid July through Halloween. Today I bought some beautiful pumpkins and plan on returning later this week to get some mums for my fall decorations. Honey Bee Farms was there today giving away samples and educating people about local raw honey. A small business supporting another! As someone who has been supporting Irma's for over a decade, I highly recommend you check them out.

Why would you go up on your prices like that, your products are not coming from another country, so you are not dealing with tariffs if you are pulling from the ground? It's not easy keeping groups of preschoolers entertained, but they had a full morning of events…read morethat the little loved! Aside from that, I wish I had more shopping time because their store was full of the cutest garden decorations and plenty of seasonal plant baskets. They run deals all the time, so it's easy to make your garden cute on a budget. Their workers were all so friendly and patient. Parking was ample. It's a bit far from me, but I can't wait to come back!

I slammed on my brakes, and went in to check it out. Holy guacamole! Their hanging baskets are regularly $14.99 each, or $12.99 each when you buy 3, so 50% off made them $7.50 or $6.50 each! No joke. I ended up spending $90 and almost couldn't fit all the plants in my car. I thought I had plenty, then I was driving up Ryan 3 days ago, July 8, and saw a sign for 75% off. You have got to be kidding me?! Screetch!!!!! Pulling over again. This time I only spent $60, and again had a time getting it all into my car. This place is awesome!!!!!!!!!

But - they had a pretty decent selection, not as nice as some nurseries, but I wanted to give them a try since they changed hands. Probably not my new go to - but if I'm in the area I would stop in again.
