I brightened when I saw Bike Stuff as I was certain we could pop in and someone could easily just tighten that one screw on a training wheel. We walked in and my Husband politely asked and was sternly rebuffed. This person was extremely busy and we would have to make an appointment. SERIOUSLY? You cannot be kind and take 30 seconds to make a little boys day? I even had my wallet in hand prepared to tip $20. Both my Husband and myself have bikes we have been looking to have serviced. We didn't want to have to drive to Nevada City, and Bike Stuff is right around the corner from us. HARD PASS. The gruff attitude and the "too busy" to tighten a screw is not the type of business we look to support. A little kindness would have secured customers for life.

It just took them over a month (5 weeks) to fix a flat tire and repair a cable wire on my son's electric scooter. They originally told me 2 weeks to fix the flat tire, and it would cost $50. I called them the day before 2 weeks, and they hadn't even touched the scooter yet. It then took me calling 3 more times for another week to get them to fix it. They then charged me $116 at checkout. Then for the wire repair they originally quoted me at 1 hour time which is $100. Upon pickup today I found out they added another $50 so grand total being $150. No morale accountability at this shop. They will hold whatever you bring in hostage for extended periods of time then over charge you at pickup. Do yourself a favor just drive down the hill. So many more trusted brands at better prices starting in Rocklin to Sacramento ebike stores.
