TL;DR Good combo of unique flavors but a bit too pricey for the quality. Convenient location as it has easy parking, indoor/outdoor dining, and drive thru. Yay or Nay? 1/2 I was actually in the area to hit up another spot I bookmarked, but when I arrived the location had a B food rating. Wasn't wiling to risk it for the biscuit so decided on this spot which was nearby and also saved on one of my lists. Took one look at the photos and decided on the Bom Bom Wrap. Had no idea what it came with at the time but it was very tasty. Good combo of spicy, sweet and savory flavors. Looked like a gourmet version of Taco Bell's Crunchwrap, but tasted much better (and way more filling!). Only minor complaint was that the beef was a little dry when I tried a piece on its own, but with all the other ingredients (pico de gallo, guacamole, hot sauce, aiolo, and mozzarella cheese) it was hardly noticeable. They also had Jamaica which I was thrilled about, but it wasn't super sweet like I like it. Tasted a tad watered down. Overall I enjoyed my meal. Expense 0/1 Bom Bom Wrap: $13.99 Large Drink: $3.29 Total w/ tax: $19.05 I'm a bit on the fence here. While I enjoyed the meal, I would probably pick something else next time as the price did feel a bit too steep to re-order. I didn't feel ripped off, so I ultimately still think it was worth it and recommend trying it at least once. I personally haven't tried anything with this combination of flavors before. I would be more comfortable paying for this meal again if it was in the $12-$14 range. Don't think the prices here are quite fair. Location 1/1 Loved the location! Outdoor and indoor seating. Plenty of tables for two and four people. They also have a drive thru and plenty of parking if your planning to eat here. Staff was cool and they were playing some Motown Classics while I ate here. Finally got to try this spot across from taco nazo. Got to try the Bom Bom wrap and a chicken/beef plate not pictured. The wrap is packed with so many ingredients, and there's so much flavor. Sizing is big as well, it's good enough for one person. If the tortilla was a bit softer it would be perfect, but still a great item. The plates are pretty big as well and can feed up to 2. The portions are pretty big and chicken and beef have good flavor. As for the place itself, it's a bit outdated and definitely needs to be remodeled. They have a drive thru as well which I didn't know since it's not really visible from the street. Overall a solid Asian fusion spot, will definitely come back! read more

They brought back the jalapeños! So We're back, Baby! Definitely fire in the house - we always Order four of them (two each) to enjoy with our four pack of chicken tacos. Some of those jalapeños in that been super hot! But we love every minute of it! Tonight we did include an order of popcorn shrimp. Excellent food! We ordered some stuff to go and they're ready in 10-15 mins. The wrap! Their half and half was so flavorful! The half and half is a mixture of beef and chicken inside instead of half wrap with chicken and other half with beef so it's perfect for sharing. The beef portion tasted like teriyaki and the chicken part tasted a bit creamy. Yum!!! The rice balls were huge and they're crispy on the outside and soft inside with ground chicken and good flavors. I drove by and saw that they had their Tuesday specials again. $4 ramen! I went to pick up my kids from school and went back as we had some time to kill. Ramen for everyone . This was an unexpected and unassuming choice to grab an early dinner (right before Avengers: end game). There's really no frills here, just a pleasant spot to have some good grub. Plenty of parking in the lot shared with Walgreens. Tried their popular items: Bom Bom wrap with chicken & KooKoo fries with half chicken and half beef. The Bom Bom wrap had sweet fried rice, onion, aioli sauce, cheese, and chicken all tightly wrapped in a grilled tortilla. This was huge and can be definitely shared with someone. The Bom Bom fries came in a tostada bowl topped with half beef, half chicken, sour cream, thousand island dressing, cheese, and pico de gallo. This too is a good size and can be shared with your barcadas (means friends in Tagalog). This Asian fusion really made for a pleasant meal that I least expected. This place was actually a wonderful surprise. Last time I came here, it was a burger joint called Order Up. Hubby and I decided to try it last week and straight away we were greeted with a big smile from Brandi. She was energetic and patient as we tried to decide what to order. Hubby got the Bom Bom fully loaded meat and fries in the shell and I ordered the beef & veggies and a Bom Bom beef taco. Hubby gobbled up his fully loaded shell, I inhaled the taco and then it was time to start on the beef dish. First bite = yummy deliciousness. Second bite = oops, something hard and crispy- spit it out. Third bite = pew, eww, wtf?! Yuck...is that a burnt piece of coagulated dirt? Spit that out too! But got to keep eating- this food is good! Fourth bite = crunch, crunch...gross...a bigger piece of something hard, what is this, burnt plastic? And so went the rest of my bites until I had to tap-out...too many hard, crunchy, burnt things were surfacing from my plate. I alerted Brandi, who was very pleasant and apologetic, and she alerted the cook. He didn't seem too troubled by it and I didn't want to make a huge deal, but I did let her know I would still give her a good review and post up these photos of our experience. All in all, aside from the crispy, burnt, bitter-tasting morsels of clumps in my food, this place was good. I like the self serve horchata and the self serve fried chilis. I had the combination stir fried udon. It had too much sauce on it and not enough udon. It also took forever to get, but it seemed like they were having issues with an order. They also whack away at the meat when they are done cooking it with a cleaver which is pretty disruptive while you're eating. Also my friend asked about their burgers/chicken sandwiches because they were pictured on the wall/windows but they said they don't have any and they are just old pictures. I thought that was a little weird. The bom bom fries is pretty crazy to order but we just ended up turning the tostada upside down and picking at the fries. This place makes these awesome chicken and rice balls (Bom Bom balls - they used to be KooKoo balls). They put a chicken mixture in the center surround it with this great sticky rice and deep fry it. It tastes great! Each ball is quite big, so I usually get the three pack for a really filling lunch. I also love their California burrito. They are big, but very tasty.
