Excellent. The food is elegant and plentiful, and the style is unique. The service is excellent. This is a great place for breakfast. It is mostly outdoor seating, and because of its location, you sit very close to the street, and it could get noisy and busy. Also, the seating areas are not large, and the tables are very close together. The food was terrific, and the portions were perfect for two people to share.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious here. Breakfast items are served all day and they do have lunch options as well. The bomba roll was a hit. The combo of potato, eggs, black beans, avocado, & bacon with the addition of hot sauce was perfection. My husband loved his ham croissant with a compote dip as well. The fried plantains and fruit/pico/avocado alongside are nice touches. Service was quick and easy in their tiny kitchen. Only complaint was sitting inside there was way too much plate banging to a headache inducing level. I recommend sitting on the patio to keep the kitchen noise level down.

Perfect first meal in Asheville. I love that they market this place as a great spot for people watching, it's so true! The outside chairs are mostly set up to face the park, and lucky for us, there was a festival going on so there were a ton of people around. The latte I got was wonderful, and I loved my meal. I got the open classico, which had bacon and chorizo and fried egg and cheese on the bread, a side of fries, and a side of fruit. The fries were kind of soft/limp so I didn't love them, but the rest of the meal was phenomenal. The fruit was fresh and the egg/meat/cheese was a lot of very normal things, done fantastically. Would 100% return!!

You cannot go wrong here. Breakfast tacos were robust and delightful, some of the best black beans I've ever tasted and a lovely fruit side salad that complemented perfectly. Cuban coffee was on point, and service was perfect.

We had the best experience at brunch! Lauren was an incredible server and the food was insane! Portions are HUGE so keep that in mind. Overall a cute little spot to enjoy the beautiful fall weather and a meal. Highly recommend!

Café Bomba is a cute little European style cafe on a busy corner in downtown Asheville. The outdoor seating is a little cramped (but hey, so is Europe), so be prepared to tuck yourselves in between other tables/customers. After the lunch rush was the perfect time to go. We love that CB serves breakfast through the afternoon and hey, that's why the ladies chose Bamba. When you see the three cooks moving around in their small kitchen, you get the sense that you're in for a nice meal/time. We also tried the Brunch Margarita and loved it. Can you ever go wrong with grapefruit? The Cuban was unique in that it was served on toasted bread (versus a roll) and had thick meat cuts. We were skeptical, but then PLEASANTLY surprised with all the flavors and how the herb aioli (we asked for extra) complimented the meats and pickles well. Both brunchy/eggy dishes were exactly what you'd expect at an afternoon brunch place. Our main feedback would be to allow the guests to enjoy their drinks, start their meal, ask for the check, and decide when to leave. While we weren't "camping" (on our way to the airport) by any means, our server was on top of us, tried to move us along too quickly, and asked if we wanted the check 5 minutes after we received our food.

Omg this little corner cafe blew me away. Loved allllll of it. Food, service, location, and the cuteness of the restaurant is chiefs kiss!!

Atmosphere: Bomba is a European-inspired restaurant with a few indoor and patio seating options. We were luckily able to snag a table on the patio during Sunday brunch, but the restaurant seems to get busy quickly. Service: Bomba doesn't take reservations, but we were able to be seated pretty quickly. Similar to restaurants in Europe, they don't offer free water and the service was a bit lackluster. Food: We ordered the Americano and the Open Classico. Both of our plates were aesthetically pleasing, but didn't offer much beyond that. The Americano was decent but the buttermilk hotcake was much too dense for our liking. Their jalapeño maple syrup was unique and tasty though. The Open Classico didn't boast anything outstanding, just being some fried eggs on top of cheese and toast. Overall: For the price, service, and quality of food, Bomba did not live up to our expectations. While the aesthetics of the restaurant and our dishes were pleasant, the experience beyond that was rather unremarkable.

If i could give more stars i would!! This food hit home, and i mean Honduras home, it was so good! I got the Pupusa, and it had so much more than i expected!! My plate had some amazing juicy chicken, plaintain, curtido (which i typically dont like), greens salad, beans, green salsa (homemade), fruit salad, and a cheese pupusa!! I ate EVERYTHING !! And i dont eat a lot! Lol My husband got the Huevos Rancheros, and he LOVED it as well, his plate had a lot too!! Service was awesome!! The curly guy that attended us was so polite and super friendly and helpful! The place was super cute and small, but well organized! We loved everything about it! Good place to people watch too

Great horchata, macchiato, French omelet, and French toast. Big serving sizes. Servers were professional and friendly. Outdoor seating is pet friendly. Good view.

Cafe bomba is a great spot to grab brunch while you are in Asheville. Everything is made fresh and from scratch and has some unique items. They have a jalapeno syrup that has a unique and different taste that will shake up what you are normally used to. I got the blue crab migas with a latte. I got a plate full of food that left me stuffed and everything was super delicious. I got the blue crab migas which featured fried tortilla, eggs, chorizo, and crab. Prices were a little pricey but it's the area and town you are at. I felt a little crammed in the dining area but the service was great and everyone was friendly.

Brunch on another level. A fusion of Latin/French foods done so well. Don't sleep on the organic coffee and espresso - the Cubano is delicious. Sitting on the street at the cafe tables is a tiny bit like Paris. Be sure to choose something with the house made chorizo and try their smoky homemade hot sauce too. I love the Rancheros but be warned: it's a plate big enough for two people. Some of the best plantains I've ever had. Try the breakfast burrito too! The service is friendly even when it's busy. You won't be disappointed in this cafe! *ProTip: for a cultural experience, hop across the street to see the collection of fine art at the Asheville Art Museum. There's a rooftop cafe there as well with nice views of the city and the mountains.

I had my family with me, husband and 2 children, my younger son always wants coffee so I asked them to make something for him and he loved it! He was ready to go and wanted to carry his own coffee but on the way out he dropped it and lost his marbles over it. I told him we would get another one and then a very polite man came and asked what he had and would get it for us, my husband refused his offer but he insisted, come to find out it was the owner! He has his coffee remade and it just left me completely in awe, simple small gestures like this are so wholesome to me. We couldn't be more thankful to you sir! Rowan Coffee in Asheville is the kind of spot that instantly makes you want to become a regular…read more Atmosphere and vibe Rowan hits that sweet spot between cozy neighborhood café and polished specialty coffee bar, with warm wood, thoughtful design, and a calm, unhurried energy that makes it easy to linger. It feels intentionally put together without being fussy, the kind of place where you can savor a slow morning or catch up with friends and still hear each other talk. Coffee and vanilla lattes The vanilla lattes were beautifully balanced: smooth espresso, creamy milk, and a vanilla note that tasted more like a crafted flavor than a syrupy afterthought. They were the kind of drink you notice sip by sip--no bitterness, no burn, just a clean, rounded cup that shows how serious Rowan is about its coffee program. Pastries: apple brie galette The apple brie galette was a standout, layering gentle sweetness from the apples with the subtle richness of brie in a flaky, buttery crust that felt more like a bakery feature than a "typical" coffee shop pastry. It paired perfectly with the latte, giving that sweet-savory bite that makes you slow down and actually enjoy breakfast instead of just grabbing something on the go. Pastries: apricot pistachio galette The apricot pistachio galette was equally memorable, with bright, tangy apricot lifted by the nutty crunch of pistachios, again in a delicate, well-baked crust. Together, the flavors were sophisticated without being pretentious--approachable, interesting, and exactly what you hope to find in a city known for its food and drink. Service and overall impression Service matched the quality of the menu: friendly, patient baristas who clearly know their craft and are happy to guide you without any trace of attitude. Rowan Coffee is the rare place where the coffee, food, and atmosphere all show the same level of care, and after vanilla lattes plus an apple brie and apricot pistachio galette, it becomes an easy "don't miss this" recommendation for Asheville.
