This is my second time here and I have enjoyed my food every time. Today I was here about 12 on a Saturday and they offered a buffet which offers food from fresh fruit, goat, lamb, and vegetarian options. The food was good and fresh. Get the Taj Beer, it was nice. My wife and I ate here for dinner and thought that this was one of the better Indian restaurants south of Atlanta. Inside was very clean and the staff was pretty organized. We ordered a saag paneer, lamb rogan josh and vegetable biryani with naan and a mango lassi. My husband and I would come here a lot to pick up DoorDash orders, and the food would smell wonderful. So we decided to have lunch and it was delicious. I absolutely love Indian food! It's hard to find it outside of the perimeter of Atlanta so I was very happy to come across Bombay Bites. I've had their Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Korma, Butter Chicken, Fish Tikka Masala, Vegetable Samosas, Bombay Bites Assortment, Lentil Soup, Butter Naan, Garlic Naan, and their Mango Lassi. All of it has been pretty darn great! I will say that the lentil soup didn't real have much flavor and the assortment appetizer was hot or miss. Even still this is one of my favorite spots. I like this place and have been there for the lunch buffet and for dinner! One thing I like is that they remind me of a place in Scotland named the Prince of India in Pitlochry. Don't laugh, the UK has some of there most authentic (and best) Indian cuisine on the planet. When you ask for spicy you get spicy and I don't mean American spicy - Indian spicy! I'm so sick of restaurants turning their food into garbage just because some uncultured moron doesn't understand that the spice level in one country is far greater than what Americans typically think of as spicy! Let me tell you, if you think Cajun food is spicy you've never experienced Asian heat! That said, this place has spicy, flavorful food. The onion kulcha, one of my means of testing Indian restaurants, is excellent. The Tadka Dal was excellent and the Biryani was good (rice was a little too moist for my taste). We've been there twice and we will be back. Please don't Americanize your food! I love America, but I need a place I can come back to that reminds me of my travels as a young man going across India! read more

I've never really tried Indian food before. I decided to try this spot since it's in the area of where my Airbnb is located. I got the chicken biryani and I thought it was pretty good. I asked for the medium spice level but it tasted pretty mild to me. I tried the sauce that came with it and I wasn't a fan of it. I definitely would like to try more dishes here. read more

I must confess, we ended up here by accident. We were in town for a wedding and had eaten at the Juicy Crab a couple nights before and decided to go back. When we got there, there was a line and we didn't have time to wait. Bombay Bites was a few doors down, so we decided to give it a try. Thank you to everyone who was in line at the Juicy Crab! What an amazing meal. If i'm ever back in McDonough, I'll be back to try something else. I had the chicken saagwala (probably spelled it wrong...sorry about that) - it's basically chicken and pureed/creamed spinach. Man, was it good! So were the samosas - crispy on the outside and mouthful of goodness on the inside. The only reason they get 4 stars instead of 5 is because I felt a little tricked...our waiter asked what kind of naan we wanted with our meals (as if it was included) and then there was a separate charge on the bill. This place really looks nice, cool ambiance, great service, friendly staff, clean environment and reasonably priced. They have dine-in and everyday buffet which is Tuesday thru Friday for $9.99 and Saturday, Sunday it's $12.99 They are open Tuesday thru Sunday 11:30 AM to 3 PM and 5 PM to 9:30 PM and weekends open till 10 PM. Monday's they are closed. Check this one out if you are close to McDonough, GA or nearby. You will be glad you did it. It is a bit hard to find if you are using a GPS. It is in the center of the shopping plaza, behind Starbucks or Olive Gardens, kind of next to Floor & Decor, but worth the hunt. I wish they get their liquor license soon so that I can start enjoying some Indian Beer over here too. Amazing. We moved here from Chicago just over a year ago and we're sad to find there were no great Indian places nearby (American Indian mostly if anything). This place is authentic and top notch. My palate is based on what I've had in India, Uganda, and Chicago and can guarantee this is what Indian food is supposed to be. This is a new favorite restaurant for me. We had the goat korma spicy, butter chicken medium spice, jeera rice, garlic naan, and raita (to curb the spice on the goat for my wife). Everything was fantastic and exactly what we hoped for. The naans were nice and fluffy.. samosa chat was freshly made tasted amazing. The grilled items were mediocre I expected more. However, I would say it was partially my fault. I do not eat spicy food and I told them to make everything mild. Desi food doesn't taste good mild. You have to get it how they make it. Overall, nice ambience. I'm so excited and happy that there is an Indian restaurant in Henry County. I never thought the day would come. The food was so good! I had the Lamb Korma with Naan and a mango Lassi. The mango Lassi was different from what I've had before because it had lime zest in it and it wasn't overly sweetened (that's a great thing btw). The Lamb Korma was creamy and spicy just the way I like it and the rice was cooked to perfection. The ambiance is really relaxing and laid back. What a treat to have another Indian food option on the Southside (and another on the way)! We tried the buffet and were happy with everything. Nothing was a particular standout but everything was good. There was a nice variety. Bite-size samosas was unexpected. Nothing was overly spicy/hot. Mincing up a piece of chili chicken served as a great seasoning to the milder dishes. The tandoori chicken was nice and moist. Some places it's quite dried out. Charged us 1.99 for each takeout of rice for the leftovers. Explanations of samosas were brushed off. Kept insisting on every person ordering naan bread. 3 separate checks and added service charge and did not disclose it. Very unprofessional and I had taken friends because previously everything was awesome. So disappointed and would not recommend due to the service. Takeout would probably be fine. It's about a desired taste. We tried this restaurant on a Sunday night when every other restaurant had about an hour wait. I didn't really know what I was ordering but, I tried it anyone. I had a shredded chicken dish. The food is VERY spicy. Mild is spicy. I think I enjoyed the appetizer more than the meal, my partner had the lentil soup, he really enjoyed it.
