Blink and you'll miss it is correct! Lol I can attest to what other Yelpers say about this spot. But the owner frequently puts on music or you'll see the BBQ pit placed close by the road. I love food period so this food truck serving vegan was no problem for me. I had the oyster tacos and it was very very tasty! Even the fries were seasoned well. Will stop by when I'm in this neck of the woods to try more of the menu.

Rib Trash Plate w 3 sides

I'm not even vegan yet but this food had me thinking twice about it! This was best vegan food I've had thus far!! I got the rib platter with cabbage, curry chickpeas and mac n cheese. I was very impressed with how flavorful the cabbage was. Mac n cheese was perfectly nutty and creamy. No doubt everything was above average for sure . My partner got the Philly and mac n cheese and she enjoyed hers too. However we tried the Soul roll as a side those were okay, didn't wow me. But this review is really about our meals. Would definitely be coming back here to try more menu items. 10/10!

    Vegan Oxtails

I wanted a veggie plate and not your normal. I came to Yelp and found this place. Definitely a hidden gem. Told a lot of my coworkers about it & was surprised the next day with another plate from them. The first day I ordered the Oyster Mushroom Sandwich. The next day I was gifted the Soul Roll and the Vegan Oxtails. I highly recommend!

We went to the Vegan Fest in Atlanta by the Beltljne and tried the food truck from The Vegan Side of Things. And omgggggggg the most delicious vegan Mac n cheese everrrrr. The perfect t gooey ness of the cheese with the perfect seasoning and can we say that it had FLAVOR! I loved it! We also tried the vegan ribs which were made of jack fruit. Ohhhh so much seasonings and the perfect bbq sweetness! We had collards and beans for the sides and everything had so much taste! Since I don't live too far from McDonough I'll have to go and get some more !!

This little place is awesome! The food is delicious, you won't miss the meat go and try it. Highly recommend the Moxtails and fried oyster mushrooms. Fast and friendly service.

Vegan moxtail with fried okra and fried oyster mushrooms. Jerk Mac

Finally made my way across the country to try this amazing vegan food and it did NOT disappoint! The hardest part was choosing between the many options. We settled on the moxtail plate with fried okra and fried oyster mushrooms and the jerk mac (per another customers recommendation). Both plates were devoured by the time we left! I can't wait to be back to support this business and try the other items! Vegan or not, I highly recommend stopping here!

So yummy. Parking was a nightmare but the pizza was worth it. We are traveling and picked up to go…read more The inside was nice and looked like a perfect date night spot. I wouldn't have brought my kids here. The lady who grabbed my order was lovely too. Highly recommend. Parking is HARD to find. We ordered a margarita pizza, lame kids cheese pizza and salad. The salad was so fresh!!!! The margarita pizza I inhaled it was so delicious. My picky kids approved of the cheese.

Not my first time here, but it is my first review for them! This is really good pizza! (Is there…read morebad pizza?) very traditional, thin, Neopolitan style crust. Not huge, but two or three people could enjoy. (6 slices cut) I wanted to try something different so we got two and boxed the rest. Shelby greeted and seated us, and although she lacked a little knowledge on the beer menu, she made up for that with a trip to the bar to investigate our questions on sour beer, and came back with two excellent samples! We settled on a Dr. Robot and the Charcut-a-pie. I loved the toppings and balsamic drizzle. Goat cheese and arugula just go together. A little honey and I was in heaven! The crust on this one was a little well done, which disappointed but, the overall flavor was on point. Next, we sampled the Spicy Italian. I'm usually pretty good with spicy things, and while this was no exception, it did have both of us in a small sweat! If you are averse to spicy, stick with something else. This crust was also cooked and not over done. I'm not sure what McDonoughs' obsession is with vaults, but it seems to be a recurring theme around the square. You'll find vaults or at least doors that look like vaults all over. The rest of the decor inside and outside was well done. Exposed brick gives it immediate rustic charm, while black floors, raw wood art, and leather stools wrap the package nicely. I definitely like their lighting! Oversized bulbs hung around the pizza oven bar (which you can sit at if there's space) and giant hoop rings finish the rest of the space. It isn't that glaring light that spotlights your table, it's just a nice warm ambient light that makes you wanna pour a vintage red into a wine glass over and over. Oh! I almost forgot, they do have an outdoor patio up front, so on those less humid days and nights, I'll definitely be hanging out there!
