We came around 4pm on a Sunday, and the place was empty. All the workers were kind and attentive. Place feels a little fancy but we didn't feel out of place in our casual clothes. Beautiful music was playing at the perfect volume. We ordered the vegetable pakor as an appetizer, and shared the beef vindaloo medium spice and saag paneer high spice. The paneer was mild in flavor and less spicy than the vindaloo unless you ate a bite of green pepper. This is my first time ordering beef vindaloo instead of lamb so it was nice to taste the flavors that usually are overpowered by lamb. The food came with a big bowl of basmati rice and we ordered garlic and rosemary garlic naan. The rosemary was delicious on its own but I couldn't really taste it when eaten with the vindaloo. Finally, I got a masala chai and it was so delicious, and the gulab jamoon for dessert. We went to the lunch buffet there on a Sunday with 3 other family members. On the website it states $9.95. I was very upset to learn it was $20.95 so it ended out being around $100. I should have said something at the time. It is false advertising. I also emailed them and I never received a response (yes, I know I can call as well). They have never responded. The people that worked there are kind. They had a good mix of all different foods as well. Honestly, for me, who LOVES Indian food...thought it was not good at all :(. Usually I want to dip my naan in all the sauces and I didn't. If you never had Indian food or tried different places, you might think it was good. The whole table agreed. The food was not warm enough (we got there half hour after they opened) and it just tasted 'off'. I was so looking forward to this and chose between 3 places. I made the wrong choice. read more

I've been here probably 5-8 times now and try different types of dishes and they always are tasty and delicious. I recently got the sev poori, chicken 65, chicken Tikka, and beef korma. The sauces that come with the chicken and beef are extremely tasty and can be put on anything. Chicken 65 I got in mild and was perfect not too hot or spicy but just right. I stumbled upon this place while passing through for work and was not expecting what I got , if you look at the photo I posted on here of the 21$ lunch special ( w/tax) you'll see they give you a little bit of everything , I ordered the lamb vindaloo which came with chicken curry and lentil soup , vegetables and rice Nan and what I call the cumin cracker cos I always forget the name of this but I was blown away by the curry chicken! The waiter there was great in explaining everything and attentive but I only wanted the vindaloo since I was in the middle of a work shift but damn I'm glad I got seduced into buying this cos it was one of the best Indian experiences I had , and to top it off they gave me a sweet dumpling in maybe a honey sauce to complete the meal. Hosted a team work dinner for 11. Reservations were easy and ready when we arrived. The ambiance was great - light Indian music and chill. Got attended to immediately with frequent check-ins. The appetizers arrived very quickly and as they came out - which was great to let people get started and not be overwhelmed - rather than all at once. My coworker loves samosa so I ordered Samosa Chaat which blew her mind. She loved the "pixie dust" (sev) on top! Best dosa I've had since I lived in California and there was a restaurant chain that specialized in them... this is a good place to try this dish if you've never had one before. My only disappointment, ironically, was the GF naan and only because I ordered the garlic version, and I guess that the way it is prepared, the pieces of garlic cloves are burned in the process (if you like that overpowering burned-garlic taste go for it!). I may have been expecting a garlic butter instead based on other restaurant experiences, so my bad. Next time either plain GF naan or none at all, and I'll be saving room for a dosa! The paneer tikka sizzler plate was very good but not that flavorful. I had it with some of the chutneys and that made it taste good! The show stopper was the mail kofta - so good and so flavorful (but portion size is def on the smaller size). The goat curry was good but a little chewy! The food here is exceptional. I am not a fan of very spicy foods so I always ask for mild and they do a good job of making sure my food is mild. The service is also very good here. They are very attentive to our needs. I highly recommend this place for lunch/dinner. read more

The thalis were not good, the food was uninspiring and bland with little to no flavor. The chicken in the entree had not been marinated and was dry and tasteless, worse there was no mint chutney, who does not offer mint chutney with dry chicken kebabs? The kebabs came on a platter of vegetables which were soggy and smelly. When I tried to return them, he told me they were that texture because they were cooked, even though they smelled rotten. Growing up in Bombay & eating Indian food & cooking it on a regularly, makes me sometimes really pick on the flavor when we go out. We really enjoyed the food here. The chicken Chettinad was the best. Spicy & full of flavor. We also had the chicken tikka masala & enjoyed the flavors, it was a bit sweet but the spice level blended with the sweetness that gave it an enjoyable flavor. The saag paneer was made a bit too spicy, it was crazy spicy. Next time I would definitely order this medium spicy. Also all entrées come with rice. We ordered hot Indian masala tea ... which they prepare fresh, good. Service was great. Both our servers Himanshu & Roshan were attentive & friendly. Bombay Grill hit the spot and gave me a pick me up that very much needed. One of my friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal and experience. We both concurred that we would come back. Went for Lunch on Sunday 11/3/24 and came out with terrible experience. Food was cold and stale. Service was substandard. We had Buffet lunch and also ordered few ala carte items on menu. We were told by waiter that we cannot take-out left-over ala carte items because it was lunch time. Weird rule?? Asked to speak with manager, no one available. Management needs to clarify. Best staff and food ever!!! I have been a regular at Bombay Grill for years now. If you like, love or just want to try Indian cuisine this place is a must. The staff is friendly, helpful and attentive and the manager is the best. I recommend the Chicken Vindaloo and the Chili Chicken but you cannot go wrong with the Tandoori Chicken or the Tikka as an introduction for those who may not be into overly spicy foods but my family loves it with a kick. You can also request the food less spicy and they will accommodate. Do not forget to order the garlic naan bread it goes well with everything. This place used to be better, but I think there has been a few chef changes. First time I visited about a year or so ago the food was amazingg!! But my recent visit left me a little disappointed after setting the standard so high -- hence the three stars. The food is fairly decent, the vegetable kofta and paneer makhani is nice but on the sweeter side. Lacha Parantha is great though -- cooked really well tandoori style w/ nice crispy layers (would recommend that). The restaurant ambience could use some improvement; very plain and uninteresting. It's always a little too dark in there. Service is good and fair. Plenty of parking and easy to find location. Hey hey hey! I'm back and following up on these reviews. Seems another guy came to eat and had a "coupon". He had some "problems". Well, I was blame for running on a bill. Well I only did not pay the full 22% tip but I did pay the bill. Don't make it sound like I was a thief. I only short the guy another $2 tip that he was asking for. Geez, you guys are realize desperate but if you don't want to lower your prices for these customers with Groupons, then don't sign up for these services!! We got the all you can eat thali for dine in which was great. It comes in a tray with rice, papadum, and various veggie side dishes. The chicken tikka masala and butter chicken were delicious.
