Chicken Chipotle bowl with lentils on the left, Chicken Tikka masala with black beans on the right
    Ileana C.

Thrilled to try a "new" place. Come to find out it's been there for around 7 years. New to me. This place is a fusion of Indian and Latin cuisines. I love creative cuisine. The combination of great foods is usually quite good and brings forth the best of both. The dishes here do not disappoint. You get dishes mixing both cuisines. For instance the Chicken Chipotle bowl I ordered. It has the Latin influence of chipotle served with Indian inspired lentils. It was quite tasty. We also tried the chicken Tikka masala with black beans. They have empanadas filled with a variety of savory options and a couple of sweet options. There's Vegan entrees as well as empanadas. I liked that they also have gluten free options. There's a choice of beverages. Lemonades and teas. I love chai tea and so chose to have that. Sadly either I was given the wrong tea or it's the worst chai tea I've encountered. It had almost zero flavor and tasted close to black tea. Perhaps the lemonades would've been a better choice. The meal was nice. The restaurant cozy and clean with a nice patio out front. Street parking only. So ride your bike, walk or be aware it is metered parking. I ordered to go and was thrilled to get a Yelp bag which I put to good use and carried my food in. Leave it to Yelp to always introduce new places and spaces while offering nice and useful mementos. Love it!!

Working downtown, so popped in here to grab a bite to eat. I Decided to go with the empanadas since I was in a hurry. I Got a chicken one (chicken and potato) and a spinach one(spinach, mushroom, rice) Flavorful, but both bit dry especially the spinach one. They have several different sauces to choose from for an additional fee.

I was in downtown and wandered in here because I love Indian food. I didn't notice the price until the cashier rang me up and to my surprise two empanadas ( Panner and guava /cream cheese) were a total of $17. Fortunately, they were delicious and worth every penny !!!

Bombo Combo, with cabbage and mango jicama salad and a drink

It is so weird that for many years I have not even thought about trying Bombole. I just forget and since they are in the Pioneer Building and not on Broadway or Congress it is easy to miss. Parking is metered or garages. Many public garages will give an hour free, check ahead. Bombole is a Latin and Indian fusion food place with a healthy focus on Empanadas, vegan and gluten free. Light salads and lemonades are also a focus. Now that this wonderful cafe with outdoor seating is on my radar, I've been 3 times in last month. My go to is the Bombo Combo, pick an empanada, pick a salad and a drink for a great price. People are friendly and welcoming. They will help you choose and assist with your questions. Food is great, tasty and quick. Their main line is a cafeteria line with empanada, salads and drinks. You can order cooked food like chicken masala, chicken tika, chickpeas, rice, lentil, Creamy Lemony Pork Bowl and tamales. Dessert options are also available. Not expensive. Seating is limited inside and out. A nice experience and you have to try to understand how special it is!

I tried the chicken tikka masala bowl with curry lentils for the side. The bowl was a good size and the chicken came on rice. The tikka masala was very flavorful and a good level of spice.

Came to see what this Latin/Indian fusion was all about. Small (6 tables) downtown breakfast and lunch place. Mainly Empanadas in a variety of flavors. I had the paneer. Excellent flavor. I also tried the curry lentils. Very tasty. I also tried the dossa. Think Indian burrito. The prices are very good (see photo) Velvet had the Samosa Empanada. She loved it. They also have beer and wine. Four additional tables on the sidewalk. No refill on the tea.

Argentinian and Indian fusion?!? If course I had to try. Love their inventive empanadas. Had a combo with a chicken Fiesta empanada, lentils and the bomb.com mango jicama slaw. Tasty chutney and lavender lemonade made for a tasty meal. Lovely though small location in downtown Tuscon. Would love to make my way through all the flavors like paneer, Tika massala, samosa and more. Great vegetarian options and friendly staff. If you're looking for something completely different, check out Bombolé!

I had a small vacation In Arizona and we went to visit a friend in Tucson. After a tour we found this fusion place, friendly attendant, and the food is really flavorful. You can smell outside of the restaurant. Simple, beautiful mural inside, delicious dosas and O recommend the combo. Good spot to eat and continue your day. In front of the library and cross the plaza with courthouse.

The fusion restaurant I didn't realise I needed in my life. The curried lentils and black beans are a MUST!

You could tell right from the start the guys in the truck were passionate about what they did. They showed a high level of excitement explaining their different empanadas and how to reheat them when you got home. On our first attempt, we ordered the ground beef , apple, chicken, pizza, and fatay. They neatly arranged it in a medium size pizza box that had the qualities and included the reheating instructions. Each empanada had initials stamped so you could identify the types without having to bite in to it. Every detail was well thought out with the customer in mind and I thought that was a great touch. Fast forward to reheating and biting in to the empanadas, I found them to be very flavorful. You could tell the flavors were layered nicely. These were so good I went back the next day and walked away with their large pizza box. I pretty much tried everything that wasn't special order. My preference, but I like that it's baked and not fried. The internal ingredients are more pronounced and not masked with fryer fat. The size was perfect in that you can try more than one and not be stuffed. It's quality over quantity and in a place like this it matters. Good stuff. I'll be back. Just under $4 each any flavor.

I've had empanadas in the past with only a little filling. Not these bad boys. They are stuffed full! We ordered the beef, the chicken, the humita, and the apple pie. All were AMAZING! The chicken was my favorite- so much flavor! And all of them were stuffed full. I definitely recommend stopping if you're around the Vail area.

This is by far my favorite tortilla shop on the eastside for fresh tortillas. I have tried the corn, flour and the lard, they are all great and come in many different sizes. I ended up getting green corn tamales as well and I'm so happy I didn't serve them for Christmas. They were very poorly made. Even after steaming them The masa was chunky and so much skin in it the insides were very dark and almost orange which I assume was the cheese. I ended up throwing them away they were inedible. So my rating is based on the tortillas not the tamales.

Today, I decided to explore their red chile burros and refried beans. Sadly it was a complete disappointment. Red chile was watered down with no flavor at all. Seriously I can not recommend this at all. The shredded meat was cooked fine but again no flavor. The refried beans with smashed with some whole beans mixed in and they were just okay. No real flavor again. Service is always excellent, friendly and fast. Their place of business is always clean and welcoming. Food was not good...at all and that makes me sad to write this. Edit: I wanted to add a positive on the green corn tamales we bought. They were very good. So out of the three food items we purchase the green corn tamales were a positive!
