So when I just adopted these two kittens, and after two weeks, one of them developed an infection and he was sneezing and had his eyes watering, I started absolutely panicking because I'd never seen that before. Bond Vet took our sweet Turnip in the same day, and Dr. Ashley, Bri, and Heidi were so incredibly kind and knowledgeable and helped so tremendously to put our minds at ease. When Turnip wasn't responding well to his first meds, they took him in again and adjusted accordingly. Sadly, I need to hack off another star. This Bond Vet is good if you are in their office. If not, it's pretty terrible. You either can't get someone on the phone or if you do they can't answer your very basic questions. If you resort to the number to text them--which they claim is a vet but is actually a chat bot--you get absolutely nothing useful. On top of which the bot will keep texting you asking "Are you there?" even after you've tried, multiple times, to end the conversation. When your pet is sick and you spend thousands to have vet care, you do not want to be shunted to AI chat bots who can't help you. So use BV as a last resort. (It is still repeatedly texting me "Are you there?" I have not answered it anymore hoping it stops. I have nothing else to say to this bot but it refuses to stop texting me.) Update: It is STILL texting me. I emailed BV to ask how to get this thing to stop texting me and of course got an autoreply. I have my phone on silent so I don't have to listen to it. read more

Been at Bond Vet since 2022. Since I moved to Brooklyn from Queens, I've been coming to this location for all my 3 cats. Now I have a kitten which soon will be bringing in for her check up. Dr. Heil is a ROCK STAR along with the vet nurse who assist. The ambiance like most Bond Vet I have been to is clean, chilled, great staff, the wait time is not bad at all, and the care is great. The prices are negotiable and can be talked through. Not like your typical veterinary places that don't tell you the price upfront. Something I really enjoy about Bond Vet which not just this location, but all locations, there is no smell. Usually, when you visit other veterinary places the second you walk in it reeks. 100% recommended. This was my first visit to Bond Vet with my senior dog. my regular vet was closed for the holidays and I needed to make an appointment right away for my dog. The intake nurse was super nice and really great with my dog. The facility is clean and they have free treats for both cats and dogs. I have already decided that I am going to switch to this location permanently because this first visit was so great. Dr. Leah Arth came in and really took the time to understand what was going on with my pup. She did a thorough examination and offered me a lot of information and alternatives. Both her and the staff were great with my dog the whole time. My current vet seems to push me out and barely asks questions or examines - so this was a welcomed and appreciated difference. Awful. I went there on a Sunday as I needed my pet to see a doctor before I went away on vacation. I saw Dr. Nancy Ashley who was rude, short, condescending and insensitive. Other staff from both front and back of house made mention of how terrible she is to work for and with. My appointment was a month ago I'm still chasing the appointment documentation which Bond Vet of Clinton Hill will not release to me as Dr. Ashely (who I placed a formal complaint against) will not sign off on the visit. I spent close to $700 on this visit and can't receive documentation for my insurance or to provide my normal vet with. I would avoid this place at all costs- they operate as an impersonal large corporate business that does not care about patients or their owners. read more

Took my pup to get congestion checked out along with getting flea/tick/heartworm medication. The clinic was super clean and comfy. They were extra careful to make sure they didn't infect other pups and wore full body suits because my pup had congestion. Turned out to be okay tho thankfully. Millie is usually nervous so she wasn't eating treats, but the have chicken, Turkey, sweet potatoes and salmon treat samples that Millie ate after going home. They also had some free swag because of grand opening. The bandanas are super cute, also toothbrushes, balls, cat toys, and paw salve. All the techs are wonderful and Dr. Natalie as well. I was an ex tech so I'm always full of anxiety but they handle me so well. The techs were wonderful to my little girl as well. The front desk area is comfy and behind the receptionist here is tv with all the appointments too. Recommend this location. There is also a promotion for 25 dollar first exams for this location if it's your first Bond visit. read more

We had a great experience with Bond Vet on Myrtle earlier today. My dog had to go in for a sick visit and I've been in-between vets, so figured try Bond Vet as a new option as they had several same day appointments and I'm very glad I did. The staff was attentive, very friendly, and knowledgable with the vet being incredibly helpful with navigating the best course of action. They provided a variety of options with steps to take at home and clear instructions on when/if to return based on symptoms at home. They were not alarmists while providing care and recommendations on how to move forward with my dogs symptoms. I will be returning and this will be the new vet for my dog moving forward! read more

We really love our vets and vet techs at Bond! After some of our kitties had frightening experiences at other clinics, we were so happy to find a place where our cats seem so much calmer and less frightened. The vets are calm, kind, and patient with both the animals and their people. Dr. Jones was wonderful and patient explaining to me various courses of treatment options for my senior cat and was willing to take the time to answer all my questions and explain how different drugs work. That same senior cat, who has previously required anesthesia for basic care, remained calm and easy to handle for Dr. Jones and the techs at Bond. We recently took in one of our younger cats to Dr. Margot, who had previously had such a frightening experience when techs at another clinic couldn't find a vein to draw blood that he defecated on the table while I was in tears. When Dr. Margot and our nurse, Trish (who we've had a few times and absolutely love) a similar problem, everyone remained calm, and although another nurse, Christina, ended up needing to be called in to find a vein, the experience was as calm and trauma-free as possible for all of us. Since vet care is very expensive, we also really appreciate that the vets here help us with a plan of action based on what needs to be prioritized first and what we can return for at a later date, rather than pressuring us to do everything at once for a hefty bill, as again, was something I had unfortunately experienced at previous vets. For context my cat is 16, he's been on/off sick over the past month, I've spent over 4k at bond vet in this past month and today I had a booked appointment as he was showing signs of being sick again. I called on my way as I was late, and was reassured that if I arrived within the 15min grace period all was fine. Upon arrival (within the 15min grace period) they immediately tell me that the vet took on the next patient. They didn't honor my appointment nor did they care. One would think they would take me after the other appointment they took, but they refused to. The vet who refused me was Julie watiker and the manager was Blaine. Manager used fancy managerial words to make me feel like he was doing me a favor by offering that I still do the tests that I came in for but NO CARE for my sick cat, or that I kept begging to see the vet, and by that time my cat had vomited and pooped in his carrier. Again, no one cared. Every time I come to the vet, it's an emergency as my cat can quickly go downhill, and if I miss the vet visit, I might end up in the ER the same night if his issues aren't addressed before. She was supposedly briefed on his issues, but clearly by the lack of care these vets don't communicate with eachother as she would have known how important my visit was. Bottom line, DO NOT GO HERE. They only care about money, not the wellbeing of your pet. Dr watiker is especially one to not see as she didn't even have the decency to come out and talk to me and could care less. read more

I just wanted to say how helpful Bond Vet's Clinton Hill location was when I came across a cat on my lawn. He pretty obviously had escaped from someone's house, so I brought him inside my foyer and set about finding a vet that could scan his microchip. Bond Vet's Clinton Hill location was nearby, open until 8pm and I was told I could bring the cat in to be checked for a chip. They took him into the back, found the chip, and then contacted the microchip company while the cat and I waited in the sitting area. The microchip company hung up once on the receptionist at the front desk, but she was persistent, got through, and got the cat's owner's information, and then called them. In less than half an hour, they came to pick up the cat who was reunited and went home. They were friendly despite the fact I wasn't a paying client, and went above and beyond to ensure a happy ending. I already have a vet that I take my own two cats to, but I'm glad Bond Vet is in the neighborhood, and I'm grateful for all of their help! read more

My kitten started feeling under the weather and they were the only vet available to take her on short notice. I'm glad I came here because they gave her so much love and care. The Dr. made it a point to ask questions and answered all the ones I had during my visit. It felt more thorough than most vets that I've visited before. They laid out the different plans of action and help me prioritize the ones that were absolutely necessary but still made notes on the things that could be important along the way. I really appreciated how understanding and gentle they were with my little fur baby. We will definitely be back when she's ready for vaccinations. Staff: They were really hospitable, and friendly. They offered tea and coffee that's in the lounge on multiple occasions. It was a very calm and quiet environment. Very disappointed with this place. My wife took our 5 year old cat for her yearly check up. This is the first time we took her here. Dr. Natalie Hell told us that her teeth had issues and she possible had a heart murmur. This was very surprising as she was acting totally normal and showed no signs of any issues. They also tried to charge us $35 for a nail trimming that every other vet we have been to does free of charge as a courtesy. We took our cat to another vet and we were told she is totally healthy and had no issues. As expected, we were relieved but also very upset by the fact that Bond Vet gave us a false diagnosis. My wife left a review for them and a few days later the manager Chelsie called her and tried to bully her into taking her review down. Her reasoning was my wife's review "hurt" the vets feeing. This was truly unprofessional and management should review these practices if they want to stop losing customers. It is no surprising Bond Vet has a bad reputation overall in the city. read more

Don't go to bond vet in garden city. Was there today with a quote for blood work from our last visit for $138.00 that was including $50.00 for a nurse visit. Before the blood work was done they went over what was needed, and they said it would cost over 300 for the blood work not including the nurse visit 50.00 or the nail trim at $46.00. I told them I was quoted a different price then the doctor came out to talk with me and told When the doctor I saw didn't understand what blood work was needed, and the blood work. When I showed them the email of the quoted 138.00 they again said the doctor didn't know what they were talking about regarding the medications my dog was on and the blood work that was needed. How can you trust your animals at a vet when the doctors don't trust each other, and tell the patients that the other members don't know what they're doing. The staff at Bond Vet Clinton Hill are so nice and caring without overselling a thing. They have already compassionately dealt with our 8yo cat with cancer who we just lost recently as well as our 12 yo French Bulldog who also has cancer but is still going strong. When we do bring our dog to Bond she is so calm and comfortable and very at ease. Highly recommend!!!!! read more

Very kind staff. I came in as a walk-in since my cat had been throwing up all night. They took her first thing in the morning, and the nurse came out maybe 5m later to let me know that her vitals were good and that they'll see what's up but that she's not in danger. Absolutely a relief to hear. The vet let me know a price breakdown before prescribing anything. It had specific prices and options which was helpful. We were asked if we wanted time to think over treatment as well. Before leaving my cat for the rest of her treatments I asked if I could see her to wish her well, and the vet brought her out with no fuss and even checked all the little unrelated things I was worried about, like one of her claws not retracting and her left ear being itchy. Everyone was just very kind, calm and informative. The receptionist was incredibly sweet and quick with new people coming in as well! Wonderful environment. Would recommend in a pinch or for a regular checkup. read more

the vet techs and vet were so insanely nice and informative and the environment is polished and lovely and so relaxing, the free treats are wonderful, but they did prescribe medication for giardia for my puppy which was $77 for 5 days of Panacur which is available on Chewy for $19 for 3 days. My best friend's dog (also got sick) also got prescribed the same medication and number of packets from her vet for 34$ the vet physical exam fee is also $125 without the first time discount, which is also on the higher end I loved the environment! but for me, the price hikes aren't worth it, they may be to some though! read more
