100% recommended. This was my first visit to Bond Vet with my senior dog. my regular vet was closed for the holidays and I needed to make an appointment right away for my dog. It was super easy to book my first appointment online. (You can also use this code to get $50 off - HONEY50-4OEPO2) from the moment that I walked in the girl at the front desk was super sweet. The intake nurse was super nice and really great with my dog. The facility is clean and they have free treats for both cats and dogs. I have already decided that I am going to switch to this location permanently because this first visit was so great. Dr. Leah Arth came in and really took the time to understand what was going on with my pup. She did a thorough examination and offered me a lot of information and alternatives. Both her and the staff were great with my dog the whole time. My current vet seems to push me out and barely asks questions or examines - so this was a welcomed and appreciated difference. I left feeling at ease and with some new treatments for my dog with severe arthritis. And my dog left with a belly full of treats.

I've searched without success for years for an adequate veterinary provider, as my five-year-old cat, Rex, gets extremely stressed and anxious going to the vet's office. Comfort Paws offers the in-home alternative we need, and I'm so grateful for their services. Dr. Irons was prompt, friendly, organized, and communicative. She listened carefully to my concerns about Rex's health and my characterization of his temperament, and approached him in a way that allowed her to do a much more thorough examination than any other vet has without upsetting him unduly. When he became agitated near the end of the visit (as most cats would when receiving shots), she gave him the space he needed to calm down and monitored his body language and signals to prevent any injury or further distress. Comfort Paws will continue to be our go-to vet going forward, and I'm so happy to have found somewhere that can work with us to make sure Rex--who's a very sweet, amiable kitty, but who happens to be a large cat with major fears around medical treatment--can thrive.

From the very beginning, she was gentle, thoughtful, and deeply respectful of both our dog and our family. I might also add that while it wasn't yet an emergency situation, she was able to come on very short notice, which alleviated our dog's pain, and our emotional discomfort. She moved at a pace that honored what we were going through, explaining everything clearly while also knowing when to step back and simply give us space. Our dog was able to pass peacefully, surrounded by love, in an environment that felt calm and intentional rather than clinical. In a moment filled with overwhelming grief, she brought a sense of steadiness and grace that we won't forget. She provided compassionate care at the moment we needed it most. We are incredibly grateful and thankful, and would recommend her without hesitation to anyone facing this heartbreaking decision.

During our years with Dr. Loose, she's diagnosed and treated issues that we believe that other lesser vets would have missed. Dr. Loose combines talent and true love for animals. Her compassion is unmatched. As great as the office is, the staff is even better. Everyone is polite, caring, sensitive and friendly. It's really a pleasure to bring an animal to Dr. Loose. Dr. Loose is the perfect combination of respecting the client's wishes, but being firm with her guidance when she sees benefit for the animal. For example, we didn't want to take a certain vaccination, but Dr. Loose made the point about the risks in our area, and we went with her guidance. We were glad that she made things clear. Even more amazing is that Dr. Loose continues to price her services very fairly. The value is just terrific. We are on our third puppy under Dr. Loose's care, and we wouldn't take him anywhere else.

It adds to the charm of the neighborhood. They always decorate for holidays, and I especially love the giant skeleton they have at Halloween. Plus, we always have cute dogs hanging out at that corner. 2. I love that we have a privately owned, neighborhood vet in Brooklyn Heights. I was expecting the staff to be compassionate and helpful, and they were beyond nice. The inside is very cozy, but the patient rooms look modern and clean. 3. Brooklyn Heights is fancy, so I wasn't sure what to expect when it came to the bill. My dog Jeffrey had to renew all his annual vaccinations plus his three-year vaccinations. He had a full wellness check, including bloodwork and a fecal test. He had the works. It was expensive, but not unreasonable. Across all 5 vaccines and testing, it was maybe $100 more compared to prices at our last VCA vet in Boerum Hill. I was expecting more TBH. They also swabbed Jeffrey's ear to check for bacteria, and I did not see this on our bill. Thank you for that, Dr Chan! 4. I had read some reviews of people complaining about how the staff was difficult when asked for price breakdowns. I DID ask, and they were so kind. They really went out of their way to explain everything to me before I was charged or any procedures/testing had been done. If you had any questions or concerns with pricing, I would not hesitate to ask their staff, as they could not have been more accommodating. 5. Dr. Chan and her assistant (I'm looking for her name!) really went out of their way to adore Jeffrey. They were so sweet with him, and kept mentioning how cute and perfect he was (WHICH HE IS) and no parent gets tired of hearing how wonderful their child is.

He harmed her by treating her for a symptom that was-not-my chief complaint, was not anywhere at the top of my very pressing and clearly expressed concerns. Dr. Bloomfield gave my cat an injection today for a symptom that was not even present, despite the fact that I texted, emailed, and verbalized my chief complaint & worrisome concerns to both to Bond Vet and directly to Dr. Bloomfield. My little cat is experiencing GI sensitivity. Over the past 2 days she's come very close to not-eating-at-all-for-24-hours, is sleeping a bit more than usual and is showing a near total DISINTEREST in eating. My little Missy is less than 5 pounds. She's very tiny & adorable, but also very frail (experiencing weight lost and near her complete limits). I was told by Dr. Bloomfield (and confirmed by his assistant) that Cerenia was an appetite inducing stimulant (and if it worked as hoped), would last for 24 hours. Seeing the lethargic, disoriented condition of Little Missy, I Googled Cerenia. It is NOT an appetite stimulant, it's PAINFUL (upon injection), causes LETHARGY and Disorientation. Why did my little Missy need this? Let alone Dr. Daniel Bloomfield did not handle Little Missy's body with compassion and respect; treated her tail like it was a handle (literally tugged on her tail) during the exam to get a look at her tush; not aggressively, yet, absolutely-not-gently. His "consult" was very fatalistic, he ignored my concerns, ignored my cat's smaller symptoms that -are- treatable to improve the quality of her life & instead was hyper-focused on her senior age. Both his dismissive and inattentive behavior during the consult and the Cerenia shot were harmful. Dr. Bloomfield caused Missy distress, sedation and disorientation. He worsened the very symptoms we came to him to address (with an extra "side" of disorientation that Missy did-not-have prior to his "treatment").
