It is unfortunate that one is the lowest star available. Dr. Karthika Parvarthy's lack of knowledge, care and lazy attitude led to my 3 year old dog's untimely death. She didn't take my concerns seriously and prescribed medication for a 'mystery illness'. It became obvious that she wasn't interested in finding the root cause of my dog's symptoms. I was forced to go to my local emergency room for a thorough evaluation and X-rays, which led to a severe IVDD diagnosis and immediate action to save my dog's life. He unfortunately passed within a week. Even more shocking was clinic owner's Dr. Eric Maddon's response to my concerns throughout the ordeal with his staff, including front desk workers that frequently missed morning calls because they could not get to work on time. Over the course of 3 years, my dog was regularly seen by Dr. Maddon for his routine wellness appointments and international travel preparations. I personally informed him that my dog passed. He never offered any condolences. If love your pet, please go elsewhere. read more

I just called this clinic to try and get some answers for an emergency my cat is going through. The woman who answered the phone, I believe a Monique or Monica something that starts with a "M" was pretty rude. This is a tough time and I'm low income so I'm just calling around to price check & see what would be the best option for my cat to receive care and this is the only place that I've called that treated me horribly. I expressed that I've called all the low income clinics that I can, so I'm just calling around for prices on appointments and possible treatments. The reception staff is friendly and helpful. The office is sparkling clean. However... I brought my feisty middle aged pet with a bought of diarrhea in about 3 weeks ago. He received a couple of shots, bloodwork and left with several medications. They called me to ask if they could run another test for $278. Of course, I said yes. Everything came back normal. Within two weeks, his condition worsened. I went in again and he saw a vet tech for about 10 minutes. I was instructed to keep giving the medications and come back for another pricey exam in 10 days. 4 days after that visit, my cat became seriously illl. I rushed him to the emergency vet. He was so anemic that he went into cardiac arrest and passed away. How? How does this happen? How could they not see this problem? I'm so upset that I spent over $2,000 in two weeks at this place for my pet to die. The vet & vet tech were nice, but they missed something major and unfortunately it led to my pet's untimely death. be careful with this place .... my cat had a bump on his mouth that they looked at for 10 seconds and decided surgery and biopsy was needed. they sent me a large invoice. i went to a second highly rated vet to make sure and they said it was just allergy irritation and it had gone down almost completely since my last visit. the vets at park slope vet care didn't say to keep an eye on it to see if it got smaller and they didn't consider his past allergy history. they just slapped me with a surgery bill and didn't consider how stressful unnecessary surgery would be on my cat and on me. sus read more

Been bringing my dog there for 10 years. Before that my cat. I moved to a different neighborhood but continued going there for ease of they had his history. I wasn't impressed with service but was occasionally happy with some Drs. Dr Shim was great she really went above and beyond and seemed like she understood his ailments. Other people ignored a heart murmur (that I could literally hear with my own ear) and gave iffy overpriced service. But the past year service has gone down. The front desk is atrocious they do whatever they can to avoid work. Asking them to send insurance forms or forms for our dogs medical prescription dog food is a task I have to call back multiple times. I also have a prescription I pick up once a month and it's just a bottle they hand it (sealed from factory) I was told I need to come back it's not ready now. Today was the straw the broke the camel's back I went on for an appointment the vet wouldn't see us because we are 9 minutes late. I asked for assistance my dog needs help and I was completely ignored. I believe they wanted me to pay more money for an emergency visit which honestly I was willing to do. I've spent thousands at this vet. Probably over 10k. They showed zero compassion or willingness to assist. I won't return and I now understand why the previous Drs left this place it is poorly run. I miss the original vet we saw there when my dog was a puppy she was great too I know she had a falling out as well. My first time seeing a Vet (well technically 2nd as the first time I didn't have to pay for) so the first thing I naturally ask - how much does it cost? Base is $70 here. I brought Ebony "Pebbles" Dogslayer here since I felt really bad about her sprained paw injury from when I tried picking her up (she doesn't really like to be held), and since my last bunny died and I didn't bring her to the vet I had to do right by this one. I was a little wary when the receptionist told me that they don't often get bunnies. After weighing her at 3.4lb and taking down some information with one of the nurses, Dr. Eric Maddon came in to meet Pebbles. He firmly (as if by some miracle) managed to hold Pebbles firmly backside down and put her into a trance to check her paws and then let her on the floor to observe her walk. The callus on it indicated there was indeed a fracture and then he informed me rabbits generally have soft bone and they can break somewhat easily when they fidget. The question is how much further then do I want a more thorough diagnosis with X-Rays (~$150) and he honestly stated it probably wasn't necessary. Great upfront estimates about possible treatments. Great, personable doctor whom actually had 6 bunnies at one point. read more

The chip is $5 at a shelter, typically $45 at a vet but Park Slop Veterinary Care charges $88 plus installation. Feline Leukemia Vaccine? Should be $5-15 but these jokers charged $50 for the first dose. It's a two dose vaccine so they are making bank. Five to ten times markup. Been going here for years. Wondering how much they've overcharged me altogether. I expect some markup in the city but this is disgusting. Time to find a more honest vet. read more

Do yourself a favor and find another vet. This office will nickel and dime you for everything they can. The bills never make sense and things will cost different amounts each time. The front deck is terrible (will put you on hold and never pick up again) and the doctor's are slimy. I took my dog in for a broken nail and they tested him for an ear infection without my consent but obviously charged me for it. The vet also sent my dog home with a bandage on his foot. No cone. Obviously the dog chewed it right off. When I called to ask about the giant lump they told me to bring him in for another vet to take a look and re-wrap the paw. For another FULL FEE. #1 Park Slope Vet /South Slope Vet. We love this vet so much. We have a greyhound dog and because of their particular breed, it's best to go to a vet who knows about their specific needs. There's so many things that we love about Park Slope Vet care but to name a few: 1. Super professional and organized. Really great staff overall. 2. Kind, smart doctors who know that not all dogs are the same and treats them with the individual care they need. 3. Clean, modern, nice office. 4. Proactive! We had really bad experiences with Park Slope Vet center, which was much closer to our apartment but had zero individualized care (among other problems.) Park Slope Vet Care is the place to go. Also: we've had to go twice during COVID, and they were super professional and safe. You call from outside and drop the pet off - they take the pet inside and call you during the appt so you have all of the info but you're not inside the office. Care needs to be removed from the title. The vet failed to detect my cats oral cancer (even though it was a large inoperable tumor on her jaw). A month after being diagnosed with a gum infection we had to put her down. When I took her in and they told me it might be cancer they didn't even give her the first round of pain medication she was prescribed. I had to send her back in and ask for them to do it even though she was in extreme pain. They they recommended that she go on a wait list for an oral cancer center when she was obviously in such bad shape she needed to be seen immediately. I took her in to VERG the next day and it was determined to be so large that it was inoperable. Park Slope Veterinary Care never even followed up with to determined what happened with her. They do not care and do not accurately diagnose. read more

I came to Park Slope Veterinary to have my cat examined. All I wanted was to have my cats blood work check, urine check, and overall regular look at him. He had no issues or problems before or after the visit. The doctors and staff were very gentle to my cat and I have nothing bad to say about how they treated him. The reason I didn't feel comfortable after the visit was because the doctor was pushing multiple vaccines on to my cat by using fear mongering tactics. It did not make me feel comfortable. They also were checking my cats teeth and gums and pushing hard to put him under so they can clean him for gingivitis. I've never seen a Vet push for these type of procedures. I understand that's what the specific Vets forte is but I just felt uncomfortable with their fear mongering tactics. Will not be coming back. read more

I've been going here for about a year. By good fortune I've never had to have any serious treatment done on my dog, so just vaccines and the occasional diarrhea treatment. I'll say that the doctors and techs themselves are quite nice and friendly, and seem knowledgeable. I will stop going here because of - the extremely unfriendly office staff (especially the front desk -- I've met 3-4 different people and they all show just how much they don't want to be there) and the shady billing tactics. I was overcharged for an "office visit" when I went in for a vaccine, which consisted of 30 seconds of checking my dog; if there were anything wrong with him, this "office visit" wouldn't have uncovered it. I went back in my records (I keep all receipts) and saw that over the last year, they have been steadily and stealthily overcharging for the same services that used to be much cheaper. $45 in March, $130 in September, another time, $150 for a full wellness, next time $272 for the same full wellness because they added an office visit! Keep your receipts, people, and ask questions. read more

This clinic made an extremely dangerous mistake. They put the wrong label and dosage instructions on my pet's medication; they labeled the medicine with dosage instructions for a totally different drug. I gave my pet this medicine, following the clinic's incorrect instructions, 12 times! The only reason I figured out their mistake was: I went in for a refill and they gave me the same drug with totally different instructions; I went home and looked at the first package they gave me and realized their error. Needless to say, this could be really bad, even deadly, for a pet. In addition to this, my veterinarian has been almost completely inaccessible. She seems super smart, but I can't manage to connect with her no matter how I try. I have spent about $1,000 at this place in the 2.5 months I've lived in the neighborhood, which isn't exactly pocket change for me. My cat has been in to the clinic at least 3 different times. The least they could do is give me the courtesy of being able to talk with my vet. I was able to have 1 real conversation with her, over the phone, after emailing some questions. After some costly testing and waiting to hear from them, I had to reach out to them to find out about the results. I've since made two attempts to get in touch with the vet with questions about my cat's chronic pancreatitis and about her meds, and was told both times that she would call me. She never did. I've had pets for 20+ years and never had this experience at any vet clinic, ever. This place takes plenty of $$ from their customers but doesn't seem to have the time to 1. Be careful about not mislabeling prescriptions (!) and 2. Actually follow up and answer questions for the clients who are keeping them in business, and who really care about their beloved pets. I've seen them botch things for other customers as well, while standing in the waiting area, and watched one very rude receptionist charge a poor woman the full cost of her appointment, *without* letting her pet see the vet, because she was five minutes late, though she had clearly raced to get there on time. Don't go there if your animal is sick. My dog had bad allergies and then started losing hair. They did everything but a skin scrape and I walked out of there paying more than a thousand dollars the first time. Went back because dog wasn't getting better. The vet would only talk to me over the phone (I'm THERE!) from the other side of the door. He wouldn't come out. He kept trying to sell me products for the dog that I knew were not the answer. We went back and forth and on and on and in the end, another 250 dollars later, we agreed on a medication they didn't have and I'd have to order. Finally found a new vet. This place is terrible. I've had a healthy dog for a bit over 6 years. In that time, we've been to our share of vets for this or that, touch-ups here or there, the occasional grooming session, shots, bandages and wellness checks. In this timeframe, I've found that vets can be likened to used car dealers, insurance salesman or downright scallywags. Always lookin' to take your wallet for a ride based on only the "best" for Whiskers or Snoopy. Back in the day I fell for this, shelling out tons of money for tests, procedures, pokes and prods my dog simply did not need to remain healthy. When I had no money as a young woman out of college, at that. I became smarter by necessity. I picked through estimates, questioned everything and did my own research. My dog is still alive and resoundingly healthy for being 9.5 years old. We are doing something right without her driving us to the poor house. So, when I walked into Park Slope Vets I had my guard up. This was NYC, of course they were going to try to charge me paw and a claw for a simple check-up, right? She'd been getting some strange little sores near her mouth and I was convinced it was because she needed a dental cleaning because her mouth smells like garbage, how could it stay in good shape!? It had been about 1.5 years since the last cleaning, and of all the high end procedures vets throw at you, that one I could see the value in. I made an appointment, and was accepted for the next morning and the receptionist told me if Tillie needed a cleaning, then I could leave her for the day and could pick up later in the evening. Ok then! I showed up at appointed time, filled out required paperwork and we sat about 20 minutes. The front desk staff was neither super friendly nor super rude. I for one appreciate when they fawn over the pets a bit, since they DO work in a place where animals are the clients, but certainly I won't hold this lack of attention against them. I'm just an animal person that finds about 99 percent of them wonderful, so I assume vet place people are the same. Not always the case. Taken back to room, get some vitals. Assistant tells me that there is no way Tillie could do a dental today, she'd need bloodwork, etc. Frustrating as I'd planned the whole day out in the event that I could leave her for a dental based on the info from the appointment call, but c'est la vie. Again, assistant seemed a little detached and not that friendly with the dog. Did not feel entirely confident. In walks Dr. Vinitsky. Who, in a few words, is exactly the kind of vet you want handling your dog. Confident, friendly and DOES fawn over them. Staff take note, this is what people want to see! Dr V assessed Tillie and her weird little sores, advised AGAINST a $600 dental cleaning based on the looks of her mouth, suggested I change her food to a different animal protein to avoid irritation and gave me a topical antibiotic to clear any infection. I left with a bill of $82.50 for the exam + antibiotic. When prepared to go through at least $750 for bloodwork, dental, aftercare, etc...$82.50 is a drop in the bucket. And, T's mouth looks much happier a few days later! I'll definitely be back to this vet. Prices are fair, and Dr. Vinitsky certainly knows her stuff, won't sell you unnecessary services and truly cares about her little furry patients. read more

Pretty much the worst veterinary experience I've had in my life. We moved to Brooklyn from Ohio and I don't know how many times we faxed, emailed, or hand delivered my dog's records from the old vet. Each time they had some sort of "system failure" and lost our records. Our vet from Ohio actually started REMEMBERING US when we called as the people who wanted records faxed again. Eventually we gave up and just brought paper copies each visit. We brushed that off as front desk incompetence and trusted that the actual veterinarians were working with more of a full deck. Unfortunately, incompetence seems to be contagious. We brought our dog in because he had low energy and he seemed to be breathing a little fast. Dr. Parker examined him, took some chest x-rays, and determined that our dog had congestive heart failure. He showed us the x-rays and explained that the cloudy region in the chest was fluids surrounding the heart and that we needed to put him on medicine that would clear those fluids out. He told me my dog had 4-6 months to live. We gave the dog the meds as prescribed, but the next morning my dog was vomiting, his breathing was much worse, and he didn't have the energy to stand so we rushed him to Blue Pearl. The doctor at Blue Pearl examined him and looked at the same x-rays. She explained that the cloudiness was in his lungs, not his chest. After further examination, she determined that our dog had pneumonia, NOT congestive heart failure. The medicine that Dr. Parker prescribed to clear fluids from my dog nearly killed him. Instead of hydrating my dog, we severely dehydrated him. My dog spent 2 days on oxygen with an IV for fluids and hasn't been the same since. I would brush it off as Blue Pearl having better equipment, but the two doctors looked at the exact same thing. When the Blue Pearl doctor explained why she thought that the dog did not have heart failure, it just made more logical sense. We even went back to Dr. Parker after the visit with Blue Pearl simply because we wanted to get chest x-rays done again using the same machine so that we could compare progress side by side. Dr. Parker did the x-rays again, but this time he somehow did them upside down, which I didn't even know was possible. He was unable to show the x-rays side by side without inverting one set. So after we gave him a second chance after such a horrible blunder, he validated his stupidity with the inability to perform what I would think is a simple task for someone with a degree. If you care about your animal, avoid this place. read more

Our kittehs were due for their annual physical, and we had second thoughts about going back to Animal Kind. Based on Alise's review, we decided to try PSVC. LOVE LOVE LOVE! The waiting room was spacious and we appreciated (though did not sample) the free coffee/tea/hot cocoa station. The receptionists were friendly and we were seen fairly quickly. The nurse (?) was very sweet and talked to the cats, putting them at ease, as much as 2 frightened and pissed-off cats can be. Honestly, I am not sure which doctor we saw. He looked like Chris Noth but shorter and rockin the gold chains Brooklyn style. Very nice, funny, and knowledgeable, and we could tell that he REALLY loves what he does. He cleared up my confusion about cleaning the cats' ears (NOPE, Animal Kind, we are NOT supposed to try to clean them), and more importantly, told us that the 3-year rabies vaccine given at Animal Kind causes cancer in 1 out of 1000 cats. I have gone here for several years and have only had great experiences. I have seen all three vets: Dr. Maddon, Dr. Parker, and just last night, Dr. Vinitsky. What I like: 1. Drs. are thorough but not pushy. They always tell me what they think should be done but leave the decision to me regarding procedures or products. 2. Lab results are back very fast. 3. I feel like the vets, vet techs, and staff always listen to me. 4. The staff is amazing. This place can get really busy but I have never seen anyone lose their cool at the front desk. They are professional, smart, and efficient. 5. I find their prices very reasonable compared with other vets in the area. Pet care is always expensive, but I don't feel terrible sticker shock when I leave. I am sorry to hear about the negative experiences some folks have had. I hope to never be in their position, but all of my experiences here have been very positive. read more

I highly recommend this facility. I have been going there for years and have seen all of the vets. I had a cat that had cancer which left me broken hearted (is that correct?). They treated me with compassion and honesty up until the end. The prices were fair and they tried their best to create the best outcome, going above and beyond in their caring. Yes, you might have to wait in the waiting room but all of the staff is polite. They all treat the animals as if they were their own. If I am waiting because they are caring for another animal, I know I am going to get the same treatment. I know have two new kittens and I wouldn't think of taking them anywhere but this vet. This place is an absolute joke. The front desk is staffed with incompetent individuals who feel they know what's best for your animal -- sorry, you're not a vet. It takes the front desk an average of 10 - 15 minutes to actually answer your call ... why ... who knows -- while in the waiting room, I've actually witnessed the staffers sitting around chatting or doing absolutely nothing while the phone just continues to ring. When trying to have a prescription verified for VetRXDirect, there's always been an issue, too. First they always claim to never receive the authorization form from the third-party vendor, how convenient. Then, they always try to loop you into additional tests just to have them sign off on the form. Why ... because all they care about is getting your money. They charge well over the manufacturer's suggested price for prescriptions. For example, Tri-Heart Heartworm pills cost about $45 for a six-month supply via Park Slope Veterinary Care. VetRXDirect charges just $55 with free shipping for a 12-month supply. Always go through a third-party for your prescriptions, the vet will ALWAYS over charge, especially this place. The vets -- so far, Im completely satisfied with Dr. Vinitsky. I first started with Dr. Madden and was completely dissatisfied. His arrogance shines through and it's clear that his time is much more valuable than yours or your animals. Dr. Vinitsky was thorough and friendly and took her time -- there was no rushed feeling, like with Madden. Funny enough, Madden even diagnosed something for my animal that Vinitsky could not find ... convenient and classic form from a money making scam artist. The point, if you're going to go here, and once you actually get through, schedule an appointment with one of the incompetent front-desk staff, and do so with Dr. Vinitsky. read more

First of all, thanks to all you Yelpers for helping me find the best vet clinic I could have hoped for. I brought my beloved cat of 11 years here last week after two days of watching her puke and not eat or drink. They fit me in on a Sunday with a last-minute appointment with Dr. Maddon. I went in there thinking it would be a minor deal, maybe some tests and medications at the most. I liked Dr. Maddon's manner immediately -- straightforward and friendly, with an emphasis on providing me with with easy-to-understand information. And he handled my cat with real sweetness and care, as have all the techs I've seen thus far. Long story short, my cat has been at PSVC all week on an IV and was operated on yesterday. What I thought would be a little health blip turns out to be a crushing diagnosis of lymphoma. Dr. Maddon called me at 8:45 pm to relay the news, and then spent almost half an hour talking me and my devastated husband through our different options calmly and compassionately. After a night of emotional agonizing, we decided to go the treatment route, and a huge factor in our decision was because we were confident in the care our cat would receive at PSVC. Yesterday she was operated on, and Dr. Maddon called me after surgery to let me know she did surprisingly well. It's looking like we'll start on a series of chemotherapy treatments in the next couple of weeks. Trying to remain hopeful and take it one day at a time. Yes, you'll most likely be kept waiting for an appointment, but I think it's a minor inconvenience when you consider it's because other people's pets are getting as thorough an appointment as you expect to get yourself. Yes, the costs are considerable, but in my experience they're fair and in some cases lower than other vet clinics I've seen. Most importantly, every single person I've encountered here has earned my trust, and my cat has weathered a week of intensive medical procedures in surprisingly good spirits and with no ill will toward the people handling her. We've got a long way to go, but I am so grateful to you reviewers for having led me to PSVC. Thank you again, and wish us luck. read more

My husband and I found a stray we wanted to keep. We brought her to PSVC to be examined before introducing her to our other two cats. We found the staff to be friendly and professional. We did wait 30 minutes or so, but we had a last-minute appointment (and we actually enjoyed chatting with others in the sunny, bright waiting room). Sadly, tests showed the kitty had FeLV. The staff at PSVC--from reception to vet techs and vets--were extremely compassionate and informative in helping us decide the best course of action. We were given options, including cost estimates, before any further testing or treatment was done. It wasn't cheap, but we felt the final bill was fair and, when we made the difficult choice to put our new kitty to sleep, the staff showed us as much as compassion as they would had she been our pet for years. read more

He gets to the point, is very direct, and is someone I trust. 2. Dr Vinitsky: She is wonderful. She is caring, compassionate, thorough, intelligent, and professional. 3. Dr Parker. Unfortunately, I cannot at this time recommend Dr Parker. He is arrogant, dismissive, pedantic, and oh yes did I mention arrogant? While medically I am sure he is competent, I feel he lacks the social and human skills that Dr Madden and Dr Vinitsky display, and that is a loss. The front desk is staffed by an indifferent and disinterested admin. The techs are excellent and competent. Do not go here if your pet has an emergency. VERG is an excellent emergency clinic and is much more professional. My dog has just recently developed a chronic disease and it'll be interesting to see how well they treat it. read more

Let's preface this review by saying that I am a first-time dogmother and completely neurotic. Now, we adopted our dog a year ago from Sean Casey (also highly recommend!) and had been seeing their recommended vet, who was fine. But it was a bit of a schlep and I wanted to find a vet in the neighborhood, so I turned to Yelp and was impressed by what I read about Park Slope Vet. So we made an appointment after our dog started actin' a fool, vomiting and "eliminating" as they say, without rhyme or reason (you're welcome). Dr. Maddon was gentle, thorough, and informative. He took us through what was potentially happening with our nutty pup and was really sweet and affectionate with her. (He, too, has his own adorable dog that comes in to visit patients!) But what I appreciated most was his honesty and how down to earth he was. He expressed his reservations on prescribing medication for her stomach issue when it's not totally necessary, "because then when do you stop?" and when I asked about what kind of dog food we should be feeding our furbaby, he suggested "whatever is within your price range and is right for your dog" - totally non-judgemental and didn't try to upsell us on some crazy stuff. I really appreciated that. Taking the dog to the vet is never cheap, just by nature, but it was nice to not worry about additional unnecessary costs. PSV is definitely the right fit for us, and I feel confident our dog (and our wallets!) will be well cared for. read more

To update my last review... after a six-month battle with an extremely hyperactive thyroid, my little Belou died while at PSVC for treatment (fluids, dextrose, tests, etc) a few weeks ago. Not only did they treat her with perfect loving care, but Dr. Vinitsky called me herself to explain everything that caused Belou's demise. A few days later, I received a beautiful and heartfelt sympathy card from her as well. Truly, truly the best vets you can see. I'm adopting two new kittens later this week, and I'm excited to introduce them to PSVC! read more

I recently adopted a puppy and wanted to take him to a vet for a check up and ask all the questions first-time pet owners have. It's relatively easy to get an appointment, I managed to get an appointment for later in the day when I called in. The people who work at the vet care were all pleasant and probably paid more attention to my cute puppy than me. Of course, my puppy steals the spotlight.... again. Dr. Parker and his assistant were great and were prepared for my questions... how much should I feed him.... why does he have diarrhea.... when should I microchip him.... and the list goes on. Now I know how mother's feel with their new borns. Overall, the waiting area is clean and there were plenty of dogs and cats waiting to see the vet. Service is better than expected - human doctors should learn from this institution. The only thing is the wait. I had a 4:30pm appt and we didn't see the vet until 5:15pm. In the end, the vet car won me over. I will be bringing Rufus back as a regular. read more

Dr Maddon is wonderful! I have been taking both my dogs here for a year and a half based on a referral from a friend. He never tries to "oversell you" or suggest unnecessary procedures. He really seems to honestly care about the animals. The techs are great too. The desk staff is not very friendly and the wait times can be very long, which is why I'm deducting a star. read more

I used to see Maddon and Parker when they worked at Prospect Park Animal Clinic and followed them when they opened their own practice. Their personalities are polar opposites, Dr. Parker is softspoken, unfailingly polite, and very diplomatic. Dr. Maddon is less reserved, speaks bluntly, and tells it like it is. They are both excellent vets and have been wonderful to me and my pets. During hard times they have let me make payments and never try to pad their bill. They treat my animals like their own, try to make them feel at ease and have never given me bad advice. I've had 2 major crises in the time I've been going there. One cat needed her leg amputated due to somewhat bizarre circumstances. Dr. Parker was the one who handled everything. He didn't worry about money, only my cat's health. They ended up charging me less than they should have. My wonderful dog was very sick, Dr. Maddon did his best to figure out what was wrong and he eventually discovered a tumor the size of an orange next to my dog's heart. The only decision that needed to be made was when we would put him to sleep. Dr. Maddon was very caring during the ordeal and made a horrible experience more bearable. I will never take my pets anywhere else and I will always recommend them to anyone with a pet. read more
