After a Sunday morning at the beach, we were looking for a restaurant that would be casual enough they didn't mind our beach hair and beach attire, or our 3 children. Bone Hook not only had the atmosphere we were looking for, but the food and beer were great! My husband and i each had a flight, and highly recommend Hug It Out. My husband ordered the mahi mahi, I ordered the chopped salad, my oldest had chicken tacos and my younger two had burgers. There was not one thing we didn't enjoy, and our server, Brendan, was outstanding! To top it off, the owner walked around and when learning we were first-timers, he gave us the history of the brewery. I had not been to the new Bone hook brewery since it took over the space of the public house. The service was good, the beer was excellent. I would highly recommend the brussels sprouts. The nachos were just horrible. Cheese sauce and some other sauce sprinkle lightly on some nacho chips with one or two jarred sliced jalapeños. I asked the waiter to take them off the bill which he did. The barbecue platter was very good and the chicken was just excellent. My husband and I like to try different microbrews when we travel. This place was really cool. We went on a Thursday and there was live music. We sat at the bar and ordered a flight and some nachos. The bartenders were friendly and offered lots of suggestions and even let us taste a few that were not in our flight. The atmosphere was fun, lots of tvs for sports. Their beers are brewed on site. Big selection and very tasty. Would highly recommend. Also, unlike most breweries, they offered wine and liquor. This is a plus when traveling with non beer drinkers. Go check it out! read more

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Naples. Friendly and attentive staff, but they don't bug you. Well rounded menu with burgers, fish and chips and an outrageously wonderful steak salad. They have an extensive beer selection as well. Large, pleasant outdoor eating area that is dog friendly for well behaved pups. They also have several TVs inside and out for sports enthusiasts. We've always liked this place. Good beer, good food, good service, nice atmosphere. But we had our "last supper" yesterday due to the social distancing/ Coronavirus issues lately and were very disappointed with the manager/owner(?) who came to our table asking how our experience was. We asked if they were doing any special cleaning/preparedness because of the Coronavirus and he VERY nonchalantly stated that "it's just the flu. We're not doing anything special since we run a clean place. We have a sign in the bathroom that says was your hands, but that's all we've been doing." We couldn't believe that he acted like this pandemic was nothing to be concerned about! We get that he's a business owner and he wants his business to stay open, but because of his response, we will not be coming to his establishment while the pandemic is going on. Wonderful friendly service, picked a great table outside, waitress happily let us try samples of some of the beers and ciders. The happy hour chicken quesadilla was really good and my chicken sandwich was huge! The only downside was some of the beers in my flight were lackluster but some were really good. Came here last night around 7pm and sat at the bar. Took forever to get noticed by the bartender. When she finally came over she said nothing and instead flung a small menu at us and left. Ten minutes later she again sauntered over, just so unfriendly. My husband is from Germany and loves going to local breweries, and over the past week has been to a few in Ft. Myers. All bartenders have been so outgoing and helpful, but here we wouldn't have dared asked about trying a beer or request any input from the bartender. We also had two coupons for a free beer and when we gave it to her before ordering our first draft, she looked at it like we were handing her dog sh*t...Why offer these coupons if you hate when customers use them. Anyway, we each ordered 3 drafts and we thought they were good. Food was tasty but definitely small portions. We had the nachos with pork for $15 and a flatbread for I think $12 to share. Left hungry. When bill came the two drafts we gave her coupons for were on the bill, quite annoying. Almost felt like she hoped we would not notice after 3 beers. Be careful here. read more

Beer at this place is sub par. You get the sense that this place is in it to capitalize on the craft beer momentum that's currently happening in SWFL. I've had a few of their beers and honestly will never go back. I had a "Dark Sour" that truly was not a sour but was advertised as one. I recall the server telling me it was a mix of a stout and kettle sour beer and after tasting it the description matched the taste. The beers individually did not taste good let alone mixed. That tells me that they're rushing a process that usually takes months or years to complete. I also had a New England IPA that did not have the character of a NEIPA it was just an IPA. There was no mouthfeel or tropical aroma in that beer. The hop character was dank and earthy which is not what a NEIPA should taste or smell like. I was truly disappointed since the place looks like it had a major investor sink money into the place. Speaking of the place, the tasting room is too small and the parking is a challenge. Judging by the large fermentation tanks you get the sense that they're goal is volume and not quality. I recall hearing that they're focused on light Pilsner style beers to appease the older retiree crowd that predominantly live in Naples. They can't even get that right. The Pilsner was terrible also. I don't see this place making a mark in the Florida craft beer scene. I just see another tourist trap for the Florida snow bird crowd. And that's all I've gotta say about that. Benny Wise read more

Our lunch here was a great disappointment. We selected Bone Hook Brewing because its ability to to meet the needs of our eclectic group: a vegetarian, a gluten-free eater, and a 1 year old. There were many aspects to our displeasure with the visit but I would like to focus on two. First, when we arrived, there were several tables in the main area that could handle 7 adults and a high chair. There were also 8 completely empty tables that could have been moved together to seat us. Instead, the hostess put us in a back area that had one table and seemed like it was going to be a merch-shop soon. There was no working television, and no way to even see, let alone signal a very slow waitress. Was this because of the one-year old? Second, the website for Bone Hook said they had a gluten-free menu, yet our waitress informed us there was no gluten-free menu available but the chef could come to talk to us. She then said that regardless, the restaurant could not guarantee the food would be gluten-free. Our GF eater got a pizza to go at the gluten-free bakery further down the strip mall and went home. To be fair, the beer drinkers loved the flights they ordered. But for a bill of $150+, I guess I expect more. I did leave a note on my bill stating my displeasure and my e-mail address but heard nothing back. There are too many good brew houses around to settle for this level of service. read more
