Ordered Uber Eats two nights in a row for me and my kids, and the difference between last night and tonight was unbelievable--in the worst way. Tonight's order was a mess. No sauces included, no straws, and the presentation looked like it was thrown together with zero care. The fish had way too many bones to the point it was uncomfortable to eat--especially when you're feeding young kids. On top of that, the bag wasn't even sealed with a sticker, so there's no way to know if it was tampered with during delivery. Basic stuff was completely ignored. What really pushed this into a 1-star experience was the customer service. I spoke with someone named Annie, who I believe may be a manager. Instead of addressing the issue, she gave a sarcastic response along the lines of "you can just add more sauces," laughed, and brushed it off like it wasn't a big deal. That kind of attitude is unacceptable--especially when you're spending around $80 for a meal for your family. I'm not even 100% sure it was the exact same person I dealt with before since I wasn't there face-to-face this time, but when I said I thought I'd had a bad experience with her previously, her response was a very facetious "oh really." That alone tells you everything about the level of professionalism. Months ago, I had an experience with someone (possibly the same person) being unprofessional enough to talk about other employees' personal business to customers, which is completely inappropriate. I don't expect perfection, but I do expect basic quality control and respect when there's a problem. Tonight had neither. Extremely disappointing. read more

Food- bang bang shrimp appetizer was great, Bonefish signature pasta with spring was not what I was hoping it would be. Spicy and LOTS of artichokes. Shrimp had tails on them which I don't love when in pasta. Daughter got the bacon Mac n cheese with crispy shrimp and that was fantastic. Definitely need a reservation was very busy when we arrived at 630. Service was slow. Even tho we had a reservation it took about 25 min to get seated and then at least 20 min for our waiter to come talk to us. read more

We visit Bonefish Bonita Springs Florida every Wednesday and we are impressed every week with the hostess who always makes it a point to save the area that we enjoy sitting and the waiters where we enjoy sitting at a booth in the bar area. I gave it a 4 only because while I made a reservation a week in advance, we still had to wait 25 minutes to be seated. We had house salads and haddock and crab cakes entree. They were delicious! Our server was polite and friendly. She came by a few times to be sure we were doing ok and needed anything. The atmosphere was pleasant. It was clean and well maintained. We bought a gift certificate and with that a $10 coupon came with it, making it a good value for a pleasant white table dining experience. Terrible service, terrible drinks. Martini served in a cocktail glass filled with ice. Another Martini tasted soapy like the glass hadn't been rinsed properly. The server ignored us and even when told about the issues just made excuses about being busy. Extremely disappointing. read more

Dottie and I went to the restaurant yesterday. It's been a while. We were pleasantly surprised. Before I talk about the food, I must say our sever Alec (Alexandria) was the best! She was very professional, personable, helpful with the menu choices. Thanks again Alexandria!! (not available Thursday-Friday) The Bang Bang shrimp appetizer is still the same, the best!! We both enjoyed the appetizer. BTW, we were at the restaurant at 5:30pm and there was still the Happy Hour going on. It also meant that an entree we liked for many years, the Coconut Shrimp appetizer now exclusively on the "happy hour bar menu" only, can be ordered if dining in the restaurant. Will remember that on our next time! We shared the Brussel Sprouts Salad which was very good Dottie had the Bourbon glazed Salmon entree which she had with mashed potatoes and string beans. Said it was excellent. I had one of the Dinner specials on another menu, ROCKEFELLER BUTTERFISH, a delicious whitefish with lump crab topping, mashed potatoes and broccoli. Very good!! I used to go to their location in Plantation, FL years ago. Now we live in SW Florida so I went to their location in Bonita Springs for lunch with a friend. The service was very good and attentive. However, I ordered a lunch special "Old Fashioned Plank Salmon" and the salmon and asparagus were overcooked and the rice was not flavorful. My friend ordered grilled chicken and it too was overcooked. The restaurant wasn't that busy so I wonder why our meals weren't prepared properly. read more

Restaurants are getting back inside for indoor eating. Wahoo! And Bonefish is ramping back up. Tonight I had grilled mahi-mahi and shrimp with mango salsa along with sides of broccoli and mashed potatoes. I left feeling absolutely full. They didn't have a gluten free menu printed - they are still finalizing their overall menu moving forward. The manager actually came over to talk about what was safe to have (including what was dairy and soy free). We got a good meal my son could easily eat and really enjoyed. Two thumbs up for that. What I like about Bonefish is it's consistency. Seriously, many days I want a meal that I know will be consistently really good! Two weeks ago we went to Bonefish in Bonita and it was a terrible experience. We ordered scallops and shrimp, and I got fish and a salad. The order came without bread, the ceviche was tough and tasteless, and the salad had worms in it! When we complained, the manager didn't even apologize. We left right away and will never go back. I'll also be calling the Health Department for an inspection. Be careful with what you order there. read more

When we got to Bonefish Grill, I was told that we did not have a reservation and there would be a long wait or a table. I insisted we had a reservation and asked to speak to the manager. I showed him my call history on my phone, which showed that I called the restaurant five days earlier, obviously to make a reservation. He handled the situation perfectly. He honored our reservation and gave us a few free appetizers. There were four of us in our party, and we all enjoyed our meals. My mahi-mahi was great. What started out as a stressful evening due to a mistake in scheduling our reservation turned out to be a pleasant time with good friends and good food. read more

This was our first trip back to BFG since the pandemic. We used to love sitting at the bar during happy hour, where they offered an awesome happy hour with several martinis and food bar bites. Now they have.....one martini, one margarita and discounted wine/beer - no happy hour food. Big disappointment. read more

So this place is right next door to my office and they just started opening for lunch. The place really puts out some good "smells", as you can almost taste the food when we leave work. My colleague and I went for lunch. The lunch menu is currently quite small. My colleague got the fish and chips. He said it was good. I wasn't hungry so I just got an appetizer- Bang Bang Shrimp. Food was okay. After a few visits the menu is old and boring. Nothing is spectacular/everything is acceptable. Service was really good on previous visits (2x). Third visit not so much. Wait staff had very, super soft high pitched voice. I couldn't hear or understand her. I relied on my wife to "translate." Tried the new crab and avocado salad Friday, but there was no avocado! I am not counting the one sliver of a bite I dug around for. My husband decided to take me here for my birthday. The outside of the establishment was beautifully landscaped. The restaurant was pretty empty for a Friday night, and it felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. Our host brought us a complementary bread with oil and butter. For our appetizer we had the bang bang shrimp, which was absolutely delicious. My husband had the fish and chips that he very much enjoyed. My kids had that shrimp and fries. Needless to say they devoured their plates. The only part about this restaurant that I did not like was the amount of dust all over the booth, the shelving, and the wines. So my wife and I went to the Bonefish in Bonita Springs to use our $50 gift certificate that we had purchased. Upon arrival, the bar was full except for one empty seat on each side of a single customer. The bartender saw me and he raised one finger and I raised two back. The correct thing to do would be to ask the single to move either left or right so that my wife and I could be seated. Five minutes later, a couple walked by us and asked the woman to move over. They then seated themselves. So much like my review posted on 4/21. We've been a regular during the off season and the bartender knows us. Unfortunately, he has no clue as to how to maximise seating.
