Went to Conner's for a late birthday and early Father's Day celebration with my husband. We visited on a Saturday around 3 PM and had no wait. Our waitress, Candice, was lovely and provided excellent service throughout the entire meal. We started with the Spicy Korean Style Ribs, which were very tasty, flavorful, and not too spicy at all. They paired perfectly with the French fries. Definitely a 5/5 appetizer! For our entrées, my husband chose the Parmesan Encrusted Alaskan Halibut and absolutely loved it. It was baked, topped with a Parmesan crust, incredibly tender, and full of flavor. In his book, it was a 10/10. I'm currently pregnant and was craving steak, so I ordered the ribeye well done (normally I prefer medium rare) with mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were delicious, but unfortunately my steak wasn't cooked to the requested temperature and had to be sent back. Earlier in the meal, Executive Chef Kevin had stopped by our table to introduce himself and welcome us. When I mentioned the issue to Candice, she immediately took care of it, and Chef Kevin personally returned with an apology. I appreciated the effort and excellent customer service. While the steak still wasn't quite what I was hoping for, it didn't take away from the overall experience. To finish the meal, I asked Candice to surprise me with dessert, and she did not disappoint! The German Chocolate Upside-Down Cake is a must-try. The warm chocolate cake was absolutely delicious and the perfect ending to our celebration. Overall, I would definitely return, although I'd probably try a different entrée next time. Appetizers of fried green tomatoes, mushrooms, calamari and Korean ribs. Then onto filets, ribeyes and chicken cutlet Parmigiano with baked potatoes corn, fries, broccoli and sprouts. OK I know you are used to being shocked by prices that are higher than even your worst fears, but that's not what I mean. I mean when was the bill surprisingly reasonable? Well that happened to me tonight at Connor's. We came for dinner and ordered a fillet and a prime rib. The prime rib was a 12 oz portion priced at $42. But it was not ala carte like most steak places. That price includes free bread, a salad and a baked potato. We both had a drink too, and the total bill was just a little over $100. Amazing. The prime rib and delicious and perfectly cooked. Same with the Fillet. Salads and potatoes were great. Really good food. The service was attentive and prompt. OK, this is a new place, only been open 3 weeks. But, one would not guess that - it is so well-organized, like an eatery that has been operating for years. Connors apparently has other restaurants and that is why they were able to convert an ugly pharmacy/retail store into a charming dining establishment. Three of us went for an early dinner last evening. Arriving 430 pm the place was practically empty, but filled up during the next hour and a half (Thursday evening). We ordered drinks - two had cocktails, one had wine. Fine. Porter was our attentive, professional server. The servers wear outfits that look like white chef uniforms (good look). We all started with the Lobster Crab Bisque, yummy. For entrees, two ordered beef: Signature 9 oz filet for $48 and Petite 6 oz filet for $42, and one ordered fish: Red Grouper $36; all of us chose potato as side. Meals were simply delicious. We visited the new Connors for lunch today and had a positive experience. The decor is very attractive (especially considering it used to be a Dollar Store location!) The staff was very well trained and personable. We started with the Signature crab and lobster bisque which was very flavorful and would make a great topping on a white fish if you do take-out. The Cajun grouper Reuben was excellent and rivals the best in town. The smoked salmon Caesar salad was very large and full of flavor. We will be back! read more

My review would have been 5 stars had it not been for a manager named Kevin. It was my birthday, and my spouse called ahead and asked for reservations and a treat for my birthday. See, I have an allergy to strawberries, and the complementary desert is strawberry shortcake. My spouse spoke with a really nice young man, Marlon, who was kind enough to ask the manager at the time, if the desert could be substituted with a chocolate desert, and the manager said no problem. When the kind waitress came, there was no note, nobody left word about the substitution, so we asked for the manager. Kevin, the manager came over, and when my spouse and mom explained the situation, Kevin proceeded to get angry, and said the restaurant will not do that, and it's against policy, and nobody should have approved a substitution, and Marlon had no authority. He went on to sat he was going to call poor Marlon in and strongly reprimand him, and Kevin angrily said he would pay for our desert himself. Ok folks, Marlon had to ask a manager, and had some approval, which he got. We are talking about $5. Was this worth the attitude and anger, and treating Marlon, and your guests like we we did something wrong?? This dinner was over $300, plus gratuity, and I left feeling like my birthday celebration wasn't worth it to Kevin, and we trying to cheat him out of $5. I own 4 companies, which are in service based industries, and if I treated my clients like this, I'd have no clients. Likewise, if my employees treated a client like this, they'd not be employed very long. Anyway, I need to decide if I'd ever recommend this restaurant based on tonight's experience. read more

So we dined here 2 months ago. Appetizer calamari was great. Problem was at first. No one would clear dirty cocktail glasses or appetizers plates. Had to finally tell someone to clear table. Spoke to manager about this. Steaks came my prime filet was good. My hubbys bone in rib-eye was tough. Then we ordered the supposedly delicious desert which was recommended. Not so much. So we decided to try it once again. Took friends with us. AGAIN NO ONE WOULD CLEAR THE TABLE. Had to tell our server to clear. She gave me the look of Really Bitch.... Anyway. Most delicious and fairly priced lunch I've ever had in Naples! The service, the ambiance and the food were top notch!

We were excited to go to the new Connor's in Naples, last Tuesday evening. Our reservation was for 8 p.m. We got lucky, and were seated a bit early. We had barely taken our coats off and sat down, and a server promptly asked us if we had reviewed the menu. We politely responded that we had literally just been seated. Less than 5 minutes later, a floor manager stopped by and inquired if we were enjoying our experience (we hadn't been there even 10 minutes at that point) We ordered a soda (with lime) and water. As per the norm, no lime (happens all the time, everywhere) We ordered the blue cheese salad and fried green tomatoes as appetizers. Both were excellent, but in my opinion, the BEST FGT's are at Hogfish Harry's. Fast forward to our entrees. We ordered the NY Strip Medium Rare with asparagus and the Mac and cheese as well as the Parmesan encrusted halibut with creamed spinach. Both the steak and halibut were EXCELLENT. However, the asparagus was as bland as could be (no seasoning at all) while the creamed spinach was quite salty) The 2 of us do not drink alcohol, so we requested a glass of their NA Wines (a chardonnay, and an Italian sparkling NA wine) Wine glasses were brought to the table and we were halfway thru our meal when the server came back to check on us. We inquired about the NA Wines, and she went to check on them. We were told they were out of them and would we like something else. We declined. The floor manager popped by again, and I mentioned the lack of the NA wines. She went to check and Viola! She located the chardonnay, but they were in fact, out of the sparkling Italian. She said that both would be taken off the bill. Once the bill came, I gave it a quick lookover, and noticed both wines were on there. The server came back over, I pointed it out, bill was corrected and all was fine. We also ordered the chocolate mousse cake to go, and sadly, it tasted like it had been sitting in the walk-in fridge, unboxed/unwrapped and had that "refrigerator" taste to it. Overall, the food was good (other than the vegetables and the dessert) and the servers could use a bit more training. We will 100% go back, but maybe wait a few weeks and hope the staff are better equipped to handle issues/simple mistakes. It is also a very LOUD restaurant (they have very high ceilings), so for those with sensitive hearing, you may prefer to go earlier or a bit late, when there will quite likely be less people and noise (it seems that most restaurants are much louder than they used to be? But, that is just my opinion). I've been to the Fort Myers location previously, and that was a 10/10 experience. Looking forward to going back to the new Naples location later in season, or more towards the end of season. I hope others find my review helpful. Enjoy! read more

We have been to the one in Ft. Myers and just love it. So we were excited to try the one in Naples. The big expansive room feels very cold. But, the bar area and the booths looked cozy. Service was very good. However, my lamb chops were small and too well done. I asked for medium rare. My husbands New York Strip was very thin. This does not happen at the one in Ft. Myers. I will go back, maybe sit at the bar, eat off the lunch menu. Because the value for the steak and the lamb chops was just not there. read more

This is a new Conner's, on the site of a former Dollar Tree , and I believe they have some of the former employees working from there because the service dollar. I have been to the one in Ft. Meyers and this location has a long way to go. First off, their signature Pork Belly's and Bow Buns isn't on the menu. Our waiter, Gustavo, addressed me as "boss" several time. That wasn't professional. The menu items are slightly overpriced, even for Naples. The lobster bisque, spare ribs and chicken parm were salty. with the pasta with the chicken parm having a vinegar taste to it. The mocktail drink had overripe berries in it and the time between receiving our appetizers and entrees was long. I witnessed, after a couple left their table, the cleanup by the waitstaff was poor. The table wasn't even wiped down. Overall, they may be here a little longer than their neighbor Cheddars, which was gone in a year. Go to the one in Ft. Myers. Ordered fried green tomatoes, sauce was so salty almost inedible , tomatoes had no flavor, grits had no flavor. Had 2 bites, biggest problem was bartender took plate asking if I wanted a box. As a server/ bartender when you see a plate barely touched, would assume to ask if there was a problem , also never ask how it was after it was served., even customers next to me noticed and commented about bartender not asking if there was an issue, obviously more training is needed. We had 7 in our group. This is a wide open seating area and it was very busy and so so loud! When we were seated, a hostess attempted to share the specials of the day and etc. It was so loud that no one at our table could hear hear her. After a period of time, our waitress arrived and her voice was so that we could understand her. We explained to her how we wanted the checks to be split. Cocktails and water was served. Soups were delicious. Some entrees were good others were average. Sea bass was just ok. Orders of broccoli was big enough for a cow! I ordered a petite filet medium with asparagus. The filet was not pink or red and was totally over cooked. The asparagus was big in diameter and not tender. The waitress did not return to the table until towards the end. I mentioned the overcooked filet to her. She said why didn't you tell me earlier as she supposedly stopped by our table. That wasn't the case at all and she tried putting the blame on me! Also towards the end, we told her 2 more times how we wanted the bill split up. Eventually she brought the bills to the table and before we could look at them, she picked them all up and left. Shortly, another person came to the table and asked how wanted them split. Finally that person along the waitress brought out the final bills. It was a total mess all night with this waitress. Unfortunately, the service turned what could have been a nice meal into a frustrating experience.I started with a rye Old Fashioned, which was very well-made and one of the highlights of the visit. I also ordered the Caesar salad, and it was fresh and tasty--exactly what you want from a classic steakhouse salad.The problems began when I tried to actually order my entrée. I had to flag the bartender down and basically tell her I was ready to order. Later, when I wanted a second drink, she told me "not right now" and looked completely kerfuffled and overwhelmed. From that point on, getting her attention was nearly impossible. My steak arrived cooked medium-well instead of the medium-rare I requested. I waited for her to come back so I could send it back, but she never returned until I was almost finished eating. I was hungry, so I just ate it rather than waiting any longer.I'm not sure if the bartender was inexperienced, the bar was understaffed, the computer system was giving her trouble, or she was just having a bad night--but the lack of attentiveness really spoiled the meal. A steakhouse like this should have smooth, professional service, especially at the bar.There are simply too many excellent steak restaurants in Naples to settle for this kind of experience.
