I've always enjoyed bonefish grill and today decided to use the gift card that we had received. Was looking forward to bang bang shrimp, which lived up to its reputation. The woman that waited on us was especially nice and attentive. Unfortunately, although my son warned my husband that the fish and chips had not been particularly good when he had eaten them in the past, my husband ordered them. They were as our son had warned. Very greasy. As though they had been pre-fried and then fried again to fill the order. Definitely do not recommend. Also, just on the subject of cleanliness, they need to take a look at some of their tablecloths. They cover the oil cloth with clean paper, but the tablecloth that faces The customer can get pretty grimy. We've been to bonefish in several states. We feel like regulars here. This last time was sub par. We usually split a bowl of soup like corn and crab chowder. This time it was cold so the server took the BOWL back then brought what she said was a new soup. All they did was scrape it onto a PLATE, reheat it and put some more toppings on it. We could not hardly pick it up with a spoon since it was on a plate. My wife wanted shrimp and crab cake put would be charged $3 extra. The shrimp and scallops or the crab cake and steak was the same price. For a restaurant of this caliber there shouldn't be a charge to substitute similar items. Food arrived about the same time and was mediocre at best. Checks were not available because "they go lost in the system" ( same excuse for the drinks taking so long). Came to this restaurant to celebrate my daughter winning her cheer competition, we frequent bonefish as we travel quite often. We sat for 15 mins before anyone welcomed us and greeted us. Server thought they were out. Would go check. Never came back and told us they were out or the option to order something else. Manager never came by. In fact, never saw manager check on anyone. Lately Bonefish has been hit and miss. Tonight the food was very good. However cleanliness didn't exist. We actually asked the waiter to bring a broom to the table. He looked confused until I pointed to the floor. He's standing in crackers, napkins, and some glossy sticky substance and doesn't even see it. Walking out the same thing at other chairs and tables, damp spots on the floor. Very uninviting. I had t been to Bonefish Grill in some years. Decided to go there for Brunch. I ordered the Wagyu Burger with fried egg. When we got out burgers they were cooked rare which wasn't to my likings. I didn't recall the waiter asking me how I'd like it cooked and again i also forgot to mention it. They replaced the burgers and they were great! We thought it came with fries and the waiter told us fries didn't come with the brunch portion but later said that was his mistake. He was able to bring our corrected burgers and fries out. We chose Bonefish to celebrate the one-year anniversary of our first date. It was a nice evening and I am glad we came here for our special occasion. This restaurant would serve well to celebrate any sort of occasion or to come on a business meeting. We did not have a reservation since it was a Thursday evening (although it was still quite busy) but we were seated right away. Our server was very nice and made sure we had everything we wanted. She brought us the complimentary bread and olive oil to start our meal and took our drink order. I got the sparkling mango white sangria ($6) which was on the sweeter side but nice and light. For food, we got the imperial dip ($9.90) for our appetizer which is our favorite thing we've ever had at Bonefish. It should be renamed to be called crack dip since it is amazing. The dip is also great with some of their bread. For our entrees, I ordered the single cold water lobster tail ($17.90) which is served with two signature sides. I chose the sauteed spinach and the potatoes au gratin. Although both sides were good I wish I had upgraded to one of their premium sides because both the applewood bacon mac n cheese and the Brussels sprouts with ham sounded amazing. My boyfriend ordered the sirloin and crab cake dinner ($21.90) which also comes with two sides so he got the spinach and then the garlic whipped potatoes. He had asked for his sirloin to be cooked medium but it was more on the rare side. I encouraged him to ask for it to be cooked a bit more but he didn't want to be any trouble. I had a bite of his crab cake which came with a spicy remoulade which was yummy. I was surprised that the lobster tail was seasoned since I expected it to just be served plain but it tasted good and with a squeeze of lemon it was just what I wanted. When it came time to pay for the meal our server (and I imagine the manager) was gracious about allowing us to use promotional giftcards we received at a Yelp event (shoutout to Bonefish in Brentwood and the Yelp team!) Our meal should have been over $50 but the largest amount we left was for the tip and not for the actual meal. Our server also brought us a box of 4 chocolate truffles as an anniversary gift. One of my favorite restaurants. Always had great food and service here. Today was my first time going to a restaurant since March. The sign up front said wait to be seated. I stood and waited. There was a man at the bar and only one more couple in the whole restaurant. I waited about 10 minutes. Noone said anything. Give me a moment, we will be right with you, nothing. I always want to try something new, so I ordered this new Pineapple-Glazed Shrimp Skewer & Coconut Risotto. The top photo is what it's supposed to look, and the bottom is what I got. Absolutely no taste of pineapples, and I didn't see any macadamia nuts that were supposed to be on the shrimp. I didn't care if tempura asparagus were hanging from the plate. We had a work dinner here the other night. There was about 20 of us. They were ready for us when we got there! Everyone was super helpful, especially when we had a few extras come-- they were quick to make accommodations. Service was great. We had several waiters, each one was very friendly.
