So tonight I won a free dinner for two to celebrate this location's 13th anniversary. It included an appetizer, two entrees, and a dessert. We were quickly seated, and our server was an absolute delight. The interior had been decorated with balloons and other celebratory decor to make it feel even more fun. The bread was delicious and we started with Maryland-Style Crab Cakes which were... YUM. We also ordered wine and cocktails that were fruity and delicious! My friend ordered the Dynamite-Style Shrimp with Garlic Whipped Potatoes and Applewood Bacon Mac n Cheese. I had the Cod Imperial with Jasmine Rice and Steamed Asparagus. Both were very mouth-watering and very tasty to say the least. For dessert, we had Jen's Jamaican Coconut Pie. Y'all need to try this. It was not what I had pictured in my head but it was so much better. The coconut, the custard, the Myer's Rum sauce... it all paired beautifully. During our visit, we were checked on by multiple servers and two of the managers. There were also raffles and a magician walking around performing magic tricks (which was awesome, by the way). We came here for an office lunch! I had the house salad and two fish tacos for 10.00! Very tasty and great service. Only complaint is that the lunch menu is very small. We went here on 9/17/21 at 8:30pm and sat at the bar. My wife sat here first because I went to the restroom. When I returned I sat and waited for at least 15 mins before we were asked what we would like to order. My wife told me she heard the bartender complaining to manager Christina that there were too many patrons at the bar. We were asked a few more minutes later what we wanted to order by Christina that did not work at the bar. We ordered our food and drinks from her and she left. An employee named Angelina who was very busy making all the drinks for the ENTIRE restaurant asked us if we had ordered and if we needed refills. She refilled our drinks for the entire night. The bartender (male, white, 20's) never acknowledged us, never greeted us, never made eye contact once. There was a couple that sat at the opposite end of the long table that sat after us. They were treated & served very well by the bartender. Towards the end of our meal the bar was half empty. The bartender still did not acknowledge us. The bartender grabbed someone else's check that had been signed by another patron that had just left. He opened the check book and had a angry look on his face, he closed the check book very hard and threw towards Angelina and said "another no tip". He was very upset at this point. I told Christina that this bartender was horrible. She didn't seem to care. She just stood quiet and walked away. We are latinos, I dont know if this guy doesnt like Latinos or what his problem was. He took care of the white couple very well. Maybe he can't handle the pressure of a busy bar. Regardless, this guy was horrible, no personality skills, appeared lazy, just a plain horrible employee. Then I ordered Tuna Poke which was a bed of rice with a Hawaiian tasting veggies on top. With no Tuna anywhere??? So I paid close to 20 dollars for rice & veggies. Food is very very good. The portion sizes are small. Most of the menu is made on add on principle. Tricky marketing. In other words if you just get the entree you will leave hungry. Main fish piece could cost a lot, but it does not hurt to add normal sides. You need to pay extra for side salad, extra for normal sides, etc. Service was exceptional and attentive. The potatoes came out cold. Dead and cold like my heart. The waitress offered to take care of the potatoes but really this was my first meal of the day and I just wanted to chill, enjoy my meal and head home after a hard days work. I declined. What's with microwaving the coconut cream pie? The potatoes are cold but the pie is hot. Please don't microwave the pie. If you are concerned about the custard going bad you shouldn't be selling it. A friend and I popped into lunch there this past Friday. I hadn't been to Bonefish in years due to a bad service experience I had at their Cool Springs/Franklin, TN location. Wow, am I glad I went back! We both had the Taco Combo lunch with Bang Bang Shrimp, Blackened Fish, side salad, and she had the garlic mashed potatoes and I had the coleslaw. For a little less than $13 each it was way more than enough food when you add in the bread and olive oil dip. Service was great too, zero complaints. We will be back and visit again soon! read more

Another excellent dinner at Bonefish. We always begin with bang bang shrimp and it never disappoints. Just right with size, breading and spice. This time I ordered the Bonefish Cobb salad with shrimp and scallops. It was prepared perfect; the scallops were delicious. Other party members had the bang bang shrimp tacos- the portion was plentiful, enough to carry home. Another party member had the sirloin and it was prepared perfect. We finished the evening with chocolate lava cake; wow!!! The chocolate sauce was warm and the cake was moist- garnished with whip cream and strawberries. We come here for special occasions, especially when I visit my family for the holidays. Today we came in for lunch and I ordered the Lily's Chicken and it was over cooked and dry. Dinner time it's cook to perfection but lunch times cook has the chicken overcooked. Other entrees burger, shrimp and scallops, fried fish were great. My wife and I went to this restaurant for our 25th anniversary. We always enjoy this restaurant. We were greeted promptly at the door and brought to our table. The atmosphere in this restaurant is great. Very open and airy, with candles and low light. We were served bread right away. Our waitress, Kate (who was excellent) came over and we ordered a starter (bang bang shrimp) which was delicious. We asked about the happy hour and she was very helpful in letting us know about the specials. Kate was very helpful in recommending food and making recommendations. My wife and I enjoyed the meal very much. The manager came over and brought us some chocolates from Bone Fish. He said he was told it was our 25th anniversary, and that this was a gift us. I made a reservation for a party of 16 for my birthday dinner a week before. When I arrived for my reservation the day of we were told they did not have room due to a large party coming in before and there were reservations they had to tend to after ours. I had said I made the reservation a week before the greeter told me "I know we will not be seating you". They simply did not care or even apologize. It seemed like they wanted to tell me to just go screw myself. Where was I along with 15 of my family members that came to Murfreesboro an hour away in three different directions going to get a table for 16 people on a Saturday night at 6pm????? We then had to beg to talk to a manager who told us they were going to make up for it by giving us appetizers. How were you going to give us appetizers if we were told we would not be getting a table???? Only reason I have returned was to use the gift cards. My servers were awesome both times and took very good care of me. However the greeters and managers are for the most part awful. read more

A pretty disappointing meal at one of my favorite restaurants. Thought I would bring my mother and Grandmother here for a nice Mothers Day dinner. A special treat for the three of us. We at a 6:45 reservation and checked in with the host at 6:35. He VERY rudely and shortly told us "you're reservations aren't until 6:45, you'll have to wait". We were then greeted by a very friendly server. But the service was HORRIBLY slow, our server was very over loaded with tables. I understand it is a special holiday and they were exceptionally busy, but should have been better prepared. Once our food did come, our waiter never once came to check in on our food and we ate our whole meal without any drink refills. A very disappointing trip to a special place for us. I would have to say this was the worst meal I have ever ate at a Bonefish and I eat at BFG all over the country as I travel a lot. I have eaten at this location many times but the Flounder imperial (the special) was over cooked, dry, hard & crunchy sides and the imperial was like mash potatoes all mixed up. Speaking of the mash potatoes, they were hard and dry as well. Also disappointed that the sides are greatly reduced now with limited items to choose from. Two of my favorites, gone........ sweet potato mash and the spinach. Would like to see BFG get back to more of a seafood offering and cut the pasta, chicken, steak, etc. I did not bring this to the servers' attention as they were under staffed and very busy. I did not want to wait for another entree to be cooked. I just wanted to eat relax after a hard days work and get to the hotel. I have noticed that the kitchen at this location has experienced a down turn in the quality of food served but the meal last night was terrible. Get it together. BTW the mussels were good. read more
