I enjoyed the mahi mahi and shrimp with jasmine rice and broccoli. This is probably the first place I've went to that has seasoned broccoli that is cooked good. Delicious!!! We very much enjoyed our dinner at this Bonefish Grill location. Service was prompt and efficient, with our water attending to whenever needed in a timely fashion. For my meal I went with the Sirloin & Shrimp, requesting my steak medium-well. When it came it was more well than medium, but it was still enjoyable. The shrimp was tasty and very nicely cooked. I should mention that this restaurant has an extensive gluten-free menu and they were cautious in ensuring that my meal was gluten-free. I also loved the sauce that was on the bang bang shrimp. I tried a variety of the martinis & margs. The Sidecar & Bee's Knees were 2 of my faves!!! We switched from dine in to bar seating. We did let the server know we were doing so but she didnt let us know that we had to checkin (again). So after sitting in dine in we had to wait again to be sat. The setup of the dining area is a absolute safety hazard. There was zero room to walk between tables & seated guest. At tables of 4 you could not utilize all seats due to the seats being jammed into a tight space. I'm actually very shocked that they havent been found to be in violation. It was so uncomfortable I couldn't relax & enjoy myself b/c the ppl next to me were nearly on my shoulders. There is no way that they can function as an accessible restaurant. I've never been to any other bonefish location but with this being in Orlando im not surprises at all that they are overcrowding the space. My parents and I enjoy this chain and stopped here after some shopping in the mall. It's reasonably priced for seafood and everything is consistently good. Shout-out to our waitress Jasmine, who was warm, friendly and attentive; really nice job. We started with the bang bang shrimp appetizer which is always a favorite, slightly spicy but offset by the creamy sauce. For entrees, my dad had the bourbon glazed salmon, my mother had a pasta with shrimp and scallops, and I had the special of coconut shrimp. As always, everything was very enjoyable. Bad evening all around. It was the night of the big storm so power outages everywhere. Very few places open and the ones that were were hard to get to. Morons deathly afraid of the fact that the street lights were off - OMG! Bonefish Grill in Orland Park, after apparently experiencing some issues of their own, was open for business. We arrived about an hour later than our usual outings - due to the weather, flashing signals - and morons. At about 8:45pm. We haven't been to this Bonefish in 3-4 years. The last time the food was just so awful we swore we'd never come back - but circumstances change things. We walked in and the place was clean and inviting. We chose a table in the bar as there were a lot to choose from, and our server came right over. She was friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered drinks right away and as it was "Bang Bang Wednesday" we ordered the shrimp. Not to "B" too much about the drinks but bartenders who don't care about something as simple as properly shaking a martini, just don't get it. If you don't know how to do it properly, get out from behind the bar. I can her saying "what was wrong with it?!" No chilled glass, no care to prepare the lemon peel for the drink. I saw her shake my drink 3-4 times and then pour the relatively warm vodka into a room temperature glass. Not good. CARE about doing your job properly. That noted, the price of the martini was only $13 so good on Bonefish for that. For food, we ordered the Mahi Mahi and the Mahi Mahi and Shrimp. Let's see. how bad was it? The asparagus fell into a "U" shape when I picked it up with my fork - and was stringy and inedible. The Jasmine rice was just one big clump that should've been thrown away and made new. L-A-Z-Y cook because it was getting to the end of service? I DON'T CARE if you don't want to make proper sides to order. MAKE NEW SIDES TO ORDER WHEN YOUR OLD STUFF HAS TURNED INTO UNSERVABLE TRASH. My wife's shrimp were good but the Mahi Mahi (if they were that - which I seriously doubt) were previously frozen, dry and terrible. On a scale of "A" to "F" these were a D-. We ate what we could because we knew our prospects were very limited - but it was garbage. I wasn't going to say anything but our server - who again was professional and very nice - started to chat with us, so I was honest with her. We are (or were) food service people who worked in the industry for many years, eventually owning our own place. I told her of the sub-par quality of the food and she said (obviously too late) that a lot of people say the Mahi Mahi is "overcooked". It's not overcooked honey, it was probably caught a year ago and stored in a warehouse until US F'G Foods delivered these pieces of shoe leather to Orland Park. She offered no restitution - which quite frankly is fine. It's MY fault for going out on a stormy night. It's MY fault for trying to eat the small plate of food that looked like it came out of a year-old Banquet frozen dinner... AND it's my fault for dining so late in suburbia. One other weird point on presentation. The entree plates are now like half-sized from what 'normal' serving plates used to be. I guess to psychologically fool your brain into thinking that you got enough food? Personally, I would've preferred a lot less and walked away hungry as opposed to leaving and having to take a Pepcid as soon as I got in the car. Anyway, I understand the GM/part owner actually cares about people enjoying their food. So, here's a message for that person: I'm very sorry that Bloomin' Brands is having so many economic challenges and that your foot traffic has slowed. I'm sorry that you've allowed your Kitchen manager to buy garbage to serve your customers. I'm sorry that we used to really enjoy Bonefish and there were once people standing in line for hours to get a table - and now there are none. Mostly, I'm sorry to say that we will never be back. There's no amount of compensation or free dinners that will do the trick. You've lost us and apparently a lot of other folks who used to enjoy your take on things. read more

I like the ambiance. It was a bit loud but it was also a Sat evening and they were busy. Although they were busy our waitress Alisha did not short stop. She was attentive. My friend and I enjoyed the loaded crab fries and lobster bisque for an appetizer. The crab was fresh. The soup was good but it had a chipotle flavor to it and I would've preferred it without. My friend had the chicken breast with the spinach and artichoke on top. The chicken was very juicy,tender, and flavorful. The brussel sprouts even had a good roast to them. Even though I grew up in the south burbs, once I graduated from ASU, I came back and settled in the city. And because I am a food snob of the highest, I look down on suburban restaurants and even more so on chains. Does that make me evil? Oh, yes it does. Like, who do I think I am to believe that just because a restaurant dwells outside certain zip codes, that it isn't good? A food snob, lol. I met a friend, an Indianian at that, at Bonefish tonight and didn't really know what to expect. I entered the lively restaurant, full of customers, at around 5:30pm. After checking out the menu, I was thoroughly impressed with many of the offerings, although doubtful the dishes would be delivered on a certain level of preparation, presentation and taste. Our server was super-friendly, chatty and funny without making us feel rushed. I ordered the Dragonfruit margarita and for my entree, I had the mahi mahi with shrimp and chose the garlic mashed potatoes and kung pao Brussels sprouts for sides. My buddy ordered the Kentucky mule, mussels for us to share and the tuna poke bowl as his entree. Our food came out within a very reasonable time as we sipped our cocktails and caught up on life. We really enjoyed our meals and each of us ordered the coconut cream pie to go (which I'm enjoying as I write this review). I was impressed, even though I didn't want you to be, lol! What a fantastic location of Bonefish Grill! I've been here twice now and both times were an absolute delight. The first time I was here it was my first time trying Bonefish Grill ever, and it did NOT disappoint. Before I get into the food, I wanna mention that this location is spacious, pretty dim lit, and has a super convenient parking lot right outside of the restaurant. The place was very clean and even has a bar located on the right side when you enter. The staff was incredible, too! Everyone was very friendly and hospitable. The food here was absolutely delicious. I could see why the bang bang shrimp is a hit - it was definitely my favorite dish. We also got bang bang artichoke (vegetarian version) and it was super yummy! I loved the brussels sprouts, tuna poke, nachos, and cocktails. Everything is fairly priced as well for a seafood restaurant. I could come here and split apps with a group or get my own meal - you can't go wrong with either. They have plenty of options for all. I really have nothing bad to say about Bonefish Grill. Went for the first time on a beautiful Sunday afternoon that was perfect for dining in the patio. Started off with the complimentary warm bread & olive oil pesto which was so delicious. My main entree was the rainbow trout grilled topped with lemon butter & with sides of garlic whipped potatoes & steamed broccoli. Again perfect & happy with my choice. My cousin had the grilled bourbon glazed salmon & other cousin had the butter fish! The star was the bang bang cauliflower which was so delicious we ordered another side. My boyfriend ordered the Mango Sangria Salmon and the bang bang shrimp (which I snagged a few of :) The bang bang shrimp are always tasty, but it seems they give less and less each time I go. The mussels in the white cream sauce easily made my top 3 favorites list and my boyfriend couldn't keep his hands off my plate. Both our entrees were relatively new items added to the menu. My boyfriend enjoyed his salmon but I didn't particularly care for the blacked shrimp & street corn. I grew up in a predominantly Hispanic neighborhood and I loveee authentic elote! This was not it. The elote was a bit more upscale than what my tastebuds were ready for. I had leftovers, so I heated my dish up the next day. The flavor was a little better. Maybe because the food marinated, but there was sooo much grease in the container, I had to pour it out. The prices are pretty reasonable and the ambiance has a lot of warmth to it. I came here after having a peculiar experience a few months before. The manager made it right so I decided to give them another chance. Our server Mya was very nice however, she was not a good server. It was a party of 7. All of the food came out Willy Nilly. Everyone's food came out at different times , not too bad. Who wants to see dirty dishes while they are eating ?? She never offered dessert. She never asked how the food was. Her conversations were very very long. We were there 3 hours. We had to beg for the check. When we got to go boxes that should have indicated we were ready to go. She held us hostage while we sat there watching her walk around instead of giving us the check . Now the food was great . The steak was cooked to perfection as well as the lobster tail. The whipped potatoes omg . The asparagus was overcooked but still had a nice taste My sister ordered the clam chowder. She said it was too much in it. No one liked the salad. It was very dry. They asked the sever for extra dressing but never got it. The bang bang appetizer was just ok to me but everyone else liked it. I don't like soggy food. I expected the fried shrimp to be crispy but maybe that's how they make it. I don't know what it is with this place but I always feel like I've been drinking the day after I come here. And I don't drink. I don't know if they cook all their food with wine. But they need to state that on the menu. That is the reason I was dissatisfied a few months ago. I do not drink and I don't want any alcohol in my food. I know they use wine for pasta but I didn't think to ask about wine being used for steak and potato. I probably will not come back here any time soon. I do feel that Mya needs to step her game up. Make sure to clear the dishes from the table throughout . Make sure to refill drinks and offer dessert. Ask how the food is. And bring the check out in a timely matter , which should be done after you bring boxes. Limit the unnecessary conversations.
