The calamari and cocktail sauce was very good. Their seafood bread was really buttery and satisfying. Their hush puppies were too dense for my liking. I had to add salt, pepper and msg to their clam chowder for flavor and the clams were too finely minced. And finally the house special seasoning for their seafood boil could have much more flavor (old bay, lemon juice, more garlic, etc), the potatoes would have been better if sliced in half, sausage had quite a bit of cartilage,, and I had intact shells still on my headless shrimp which was a bit of a pain. but the broccoli was great because it absorbed a lot of the butter sauce. read more

The service at this establishment was friendly and helpful. The ambiance is very casual with graphics on the wall from individuals who have dinned in the restaurant. There are two reasons why I gave this establishment a two star review. I ordered a make your own boil bag. It comes with potato, corn and broccoli. I added head on shrimp, green muscles and sausage. The shrimp was not cleaned properly and the sauce waa salty. It was edible but definitely could of used half the amount of salt that it is prepared with. A person in my group ordered the todays special. When the bill came it was over charged. They did rectify it immediately and removed the "today special sign" from the front door as they indicated it was wrong. Absolutely delicious! We did a medium spice level on the Cajun seasoning on the Blue Crab and Snow Crab. It was the perfect level of heat for us. If we ordered again, we'd just do the Snow Crab just because there's so much more meat than the Blue. The boil came with corn, red potatoes and broccoli. We ordered the hush puppies to start. 10 small hush puppies came out piping hot in a basket with a side of ketchup. Crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. Well seasoned and tasty. There was only one other couple in the restaurant. So, we were skeptical about what was "wrong" considering the empty dining room. There is nothing to explain why. Food was on point. I visited the jumbo crab on a Friday evening around 6pm. I was surprised that it wasn't super crowded. We were greeted and seated right away. For apps we ordered the fried pickles and the mozzarella cheese sticks! Def a great price point for the quantity received for both. For my meal, I ordered a pound of snow crab legs and I added extra corn and boiled eggs. The pound itself comes with one corn and broccoli. I also ordered steamed rice. For my flavor, I ordered the special that includes Cajun, garlic butter and lemon pepper. It was very tasty and not too salty which is a huge plus. I don't like a lot of spice and went with the mild! The server/ host/ busser seemed slightly overworked but was nonetheless efficient and friendly. The restaurant has a very unique look to it which I appreciate. We have been to several restaurants, some good and some bad, but by far this is the most affordable of them all. The sauce they mix can still be improved. For me the service was too slow, we had a large group that arrived at 7 but didn't receive food & drinks until 8:30. Our orders were not brought out in order and you couldn't hear what the server was calling out. My appetizers came out minutes before my food, the lobster was a nice size but over cooked and no flavor. The sauce was on the shell but not on the meat. The 1/2 lb of crab legs was only a thin cluster and anyone that has had a broil before knows how much a 1/2 lb is. The drinks were $10 and watered down, several people on my group sent theirs back. So I'm sad because this is my second review. I was here about two years ago and my second experience was a let down. We ordered the seafood boil and the flavor of this sauce was over seasoned. I asked for the garlic and it was just too salty to the point where it was almost not edible. We also order fried shrimp and the breading on the shrimp was soft and under seasoned. I ordered two boil bags to go, one with only shrimp and the other was the house special that included a lobster tail. I had plenty of wet naps in my bag and everything was securely wrapped up, i didn't see any spills in my bag. The food was hot but over cooked. I will say the corn cobs were super delicious , so please keep them the same! The seafood i had was overcooked; the lobster tail curled into a circle and most of the leg meat was stuck to the inside of the shells. Later on that day my sister and I were both sick and constipated. It seems like my stomach has been jacked up ever since for two weeks. I finally made it to this place. I hate giving low stars but everyone needs to know. Trying to get to the restaurant is a hassle. You have to go through the hotel parking lot just to get here. The outside is nice & so is the inside. The inside is small & not enough seats in the waiting area. We waited about 30 mins at the bar which was cool no problem. Only downfall everyone packed together b/c the hostess call your name. They don't have the pager like most restaurants. The food was good & the drinks were very strong. I ordered 1/2lb of crab legs, 1/2 lb of shrimps & 1/2 lb of crawfish. This where things go downhill. I been to enough seafood places to know one cluster is not 1/2lb. BEWARE 1/2 lb of crab legs is ONE CLUSTER. We had to order 2lbs of crab legs. After we ordered our food we didn't see our server for the rest of the night. Our drinks came after we got our food. We placed an order with another server b/c our server never came back. I had to ask 2 ppl for a box & they both forgot. The time we came they were not even crowded. SERVICE HERE IS TERRIBLE!!!!! Just recently opened in Tinley Park. Food was good, seafood was fresh but their service is still a working progress. They just have to figure out how to really work as a team. We went there for dinner on a Saturday night. We were greeted by the hostess and took our name down. Their wait time was 45 mins to an hour. Even though there were several tables open, we figured that they are short staffed. We asked the hostess if we can sit at the bar while waiting and if we can have our meal there, we were told we can sit at the bar but they don't serve food because there is only one person working the bar. That was understandable. We sat at the bar, no one acknowledge us until after 15 mins. As we were waiting the couple sitting by me got served with food. We noticed that people walking in the door was already getting seated. We finally asked a server if we can have some water and at that time we were asked if someone came to help us and said no. So we got to order a couple of water, a couple of drinks and an appetizer. After 10 mins one of the drinks arrived. We have to ask again another person if we can get some water, it so happened that she was a manager there. We told her we were waiting for a table, we didn't mind eating at the bar but we were told we can't. She told us whoever told is that was lying and we can eat at the bar. We put in our order for our meal and immediately got the rest of our drinks came. And finally, our appetizer came served by the manager. As we finished our appetizer our original server came in to checked on us and we said we already ordered our food with the manager, she wasn't happy to hear that and stated she can't do that because it'll mess up our queue in the kitchen, not sure what she meant by that. It was just so disorganized. To make this long story short. Be very patient and prepared to be there a while if you want to try out this place. Food is really good, seafood was fresh but their service in general needs to be worked on, it feels like whoever is running the business has no background on how to run it. We decided to try this place because it's new! Food comes out fast but all the employees seem to be confused. The place has only been open 20 days and it was obvious! The waitress seemed to be confused on which tables were theirs. We sat at the bar. The bar isn't set all the way up so it's kind of weird even the beer tap wasn't set up yet. The food is good not amazing. My boyfriend said the sausage needs to be a better brand, he said the corn taste like it's been sitting in water to long (whatever that means, I don't eat corn) . All the mussels came or the shells and we had to fish for them in bottom of bag. The mussels were tasty although! We ordered 2lbs of King crab legs we got 2 in the bag we doubt they were a lb each. This place is new to the scene and sadly I did not get a pic of the way the crab leg came out. They did not have a liquor license yet ( I believe they have it now) and they said it was coming. So the crab leg came out in a puffed up bag! I was confused what to do as I had. It seen that before. I looked around the place hoping for a clue but I was the only one with a fresh bag. I decided to untie it and thankful that was the right choice vs busting it with my fork lol The seasoning would've gone everywhere! I had the garlic butter with the Alaskan King Crab Leg. Just one. That was disappointing. I hoped for at least two for the price $32. It came with corn and potatoes in the bag. It's a greasy situation but they do give you a bib and plastic gloves. It was good just not enough. Hubby had the catfish with Cajun seasoning and said it was decent. After your meal, they do have a hand washing station in the main room so that is a plus. Went here because Texas Roadhouse was packed and it looked nice, and I'm happy we did! It was about 40% full on a Wednesday at 7pm which seemed like a good sign for such a new place. My husband and I shared the shrimp, blue crab, and snow crab with jumbo sauce - spicy level hot. The seafood was high quality and tasted fresh. I loved the sauce, great flavor. I'm a fan of spicy so I think next time I'd try the extra hot, but hot had some good spice too. The bag with the shrimp had less of the garlic and spices than the crab bag, so we just dipped everything in the crab bag before eating it. The Cajun fries were awesome too! Service was super quick, we ordered and had our food within 15 minutes. It was served piping hot and perfectly cooked. Out waitress, Cecily, was fantastic! She was friendly but not over the top and checked on us periodically. Overall it was a great dinner. The walls are pretty bare so it could do with some cheap corny beach decor, but other than that it's a nice place that I will DEFINITELY be returning to to try out the lunch menu. This place looks to be on its last leg before closing. At 7:45 pm on a Friday night there were only 4 groups of customers inside. Upon entering you see the seafood ocean theme with nets and life preserver rings and graffiti everywhere on light wood walls. You immediately come in to a bar that has no bartender and nothing you'd expect for a bar, like bottles lined up nearly on shelves, but rather just sitting haphazardly on a counter in the middle of the square bar. I decided to give it a shot anyway as I had looked it up on Yelp and it seemed like people felt it was ok. I ordered a crab Rangoon appetizer and a shrimp basket. The crab Rangoon was overly crisp and the shrimp basket no better; the outside was nicely done but the shrimp inside was slightly undercooked in 3 of 8. The Cajun fries were not good either. The house wine was disgusting but cheap. I also had concerns about cleanliness as I was relentlessly pestered by fruit flies I had to keep shooing away, which is never a good sign in a restaurant or bar. Service was efficient but totally lacking in friendliness or enthusiasm for the place. Food was delivered on utility carts, which I've never seen anywhere else. I would be afraid to see the kitchen. I suggest going elsewhere. One star because zero is not an option. read more

I got the snow crab and headless shrimp with the extra spicy seasoning. We got the calamari appetizer. I'm not crazy about calamari but my husband loves it. It was light and crispy, very good. My crab was spicy and flavorful. I got full after eating less than half. The broccoli was good not overcooked. The sausage was tasty. The shrimp, I could just suck the sauce off the shrimp all night. The only down side was my husband only had 1 king crab leg. It was big and delicious but for the price?? We will go back and probably order the same thing again. I've gone multiple over the past couple of years & last night my family, friends, and I dined there for my bday. Dinner was great, food was amazing. There were legit no complaints. Most importantly Yun ( if I spelled it correctly) was a one man wrenching show. There were a total of 17 of us and her served us WELL all by himself. Very attentive and plenty polite. We didn't have to ask for anything because he paid close attention and handled all our needs effortlessly. We came to simply just have a good time and share a meal together and that's exactly what occurred.
