Genuinely didn't know or expect Orland Park, IL, to be this busy. They share a parking lot with Longhorn Steakhouse. I made reservations online and was able to walk right in. Others told me that they waited 2 hours. I can't imagine Saturday appetizer specials MUST BE ANNOUNCED TO YOUR SERVER or you will be charged full price. Weird but okay. Next time. Seafood dip with cheese with flavorless. Mussels Sans tomatoes was too creamy based. It's as if someone was going to make a bisque and changed their mind midways. I love the onions inclusion. What a great experience! We had reservations at Bonefish on a Sunday night at 5:00 pm. We were promptly seated, and our waitress, Alisha, approached almost immediately. Let me start with the service...Alisha was the best server I've ever had. Attentive, personable, sweet, efficient. If you dine here, and she's available, ask to be seated in her section. As for the food, it was excellent. I had the chicken Marsala, and it was amazing. My husband said the sirloin was the best he's ever had. The other two diners had the cedar plank salmon, and the shrimp skewers. Both dishes got thumbs up. I've dined at this location numerous times, and the food has always been great, but the service has been spotty. I will definitely be asking for Alisha on my future visits. read more

Our waitress was slightly rude with the service and did not ask if we were reward members. You would think that the restaurant would have the social hour specials included with the menus. We went to Bonefish Grill for dinner and to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We were about 15 minutes early for our reservation and were seated right away. All of our entrees were delicious! I ordered filet, my mom had bang bang shrimp tacos, my son had lobster ravioli, and my daughter had macaroni and cheese. They brought out a very nice dessert for my daughter and it was very yummy. I have not been here in years and so my first adventure back included ordering a family pack meal. Last time I dined in with my parents and it was a great experience. Apparently family pack meals are the newest craze, as a meal can feed quite a few at a reasonable price. I can not say it was as great of an experience, though. My family and I went with the Mahi Mahi and Shrimp combo(with chosen sauce) which includes bread with pesto, choice of one side(Mashed Potatoes, Rice, or Veggies), salad(House or Caesar), and Chocolate Chip Cookies for $72. This package claims it feeds 4-5. On my online order I specifically requested extra bread. You have the option of stating the amount and so I chose 4 due to needing to feed 6 people. Upon my arrival, the bag of food was ready to go, as promised! (31 minutes) The issue I encountered was when I was driving. My lemon butter sauce was not properly closed and so it poured all over the rest of the food! I hadn't realized that until I was already home. In addition, although I requested extra bread, I received two loaves. Considering one loaf is given to a dining couple of two I didn't feel two were adequate, especially since I requested extra!!! The pesto dip was delicious, Caesar salad was average, and the cookies were good(soft cookies). I was told the shrimp were pretty good, but apparently the Mahi Mahi was very dry. The Mashed Potatoes were to my liking with an emphasis on garlic(yum!), but were also pretty dry. I arrived two minutes after my "it's ready" text came, and so this could not have been the reason half the food was dry. For the price paid, the meal was reasonable. I am just aware that their to go orders are not comparable to their dine in food. I am unsure if we will order this again, but we will most likely dine in again in the future. read more

I took my sister since she had a gift card to her favorite restaurant. I never had anything bad, as everything is done right. We had great service from Taeesha S. She was perfect in everything. We truly enjoyed the food, asked if we needed refills etc. It's refreshing to have truly a nice, accomodating waitress. When my husband and I go to Bonefish my husband loves to sit at the bar. Sooo we have missed the perfect service from Taeesha. If we sit in the dining room, we will hope she will be working as I will ask for her. Excellence in food/service etc. Very few Bonefishes in the area and will not travel to Schaumburg just to eat. Actually prefer this location although we are not close by in proximity to home. Sweet spot for a Saturday night!!!!! Even though the place was slightly busy, my friend and I were very easily able to get a table with no wait. I assumed due to the crowd that the service wouldn't be so great, fortunately that wasn't the case at all. We came at 4pm on a Sunday and the place was packed! It looked like there were a lot of special events celebrating at Bonefish Grill. Despite the crowd, we were seated right away. I tried the mahi mahi with mango salsa with a side of jasmine rice and seasonal vegetables (broccoli). The rice was a bit dry but everything else tasted great! They also served us a loaf of bread with olive oil. It was so warm and fresh but very difficult to cut. Our waitress was great (I think her name was Jackie?). We went to celebrate two birthdays, called a week in advance and it was a pleasant experience. On the day most of the guests arrived at least 30 minutes earlier than the reservation and were Seated! Wow, talk about good customer service! The remainder of the party arrived to appetizers being brought to the table. Generally most restaurants have you wait, for the rest of the party and or because it was not time yet. Management at this location gets some points for customer service. The waiter was very attentive, especially we had a mishap (I won't say because someone may try to accidentally, on purpose try to force a mishap.). Any way after pointing out the mishap to our waiter he sent over the manager who apologized. Everyone's meal arrived and was correct even with the special requests. There was slightly over grilled Mahi-mahi, Salmon and Trout because those who ordered it said although slightly over cooked the seasoning was great. Each birthday celebrant received their own dessert... that was different. Great time, great space, easy dining area and although the lighting seemed low it was a great level to see everyone and everything on the table. We were also able to take great family photos. I would recommend going because the staff actually listens and if any mishaps they work hard to make your experience pleasant. P.S. I learned about this restaurant through a yelp elite event and I will definitely be back again. The restaurant is beautiful and very well decorated. Definitely a good spot for a date. The staff is so attentive and genuine. The food was delightful. The tuna poke bowl was so fresh. You have to get the fish here, it is so fresh and so well prepared. Look I get it that they service won't be exactly the same for a regular diner but it is not going to be a total drop off either. From what I observed in the restaurant the service was promptly and friendly. Value (A) I checked out the menu prices and I feel like it is priced right for the quality of food and economy. You will not feel like you got screwed and you won't feel like you got some crazy awesome deal - it feels just right. It was my first time to Bonefish Grill and boy oh boy was it delicious! I love seafood so I gotta try this place. Everything was absolutely amazing!!!! We started off with white sangria, red sangria and I had a dirty martini. For appetizers we ordered 3 crab cakes and that was so yummy. Entrees I ordered the seared scallops with shrimp with chimichurri sauce and that was Devine! I paired it with garlic mashed potato and Cole slaw and it was just fantastic. I had been anxiously anticipating a visit to Bonefish Grill after spending the afternoon ordering furniture. My first impression of the dining room was that of an enormous, extremely dark middle school cafeteria with a sound level to match. Dozens of tables were arranged on the floor by someone with Jenga Master skills. The fish was very well cooked but some of the vegetables were cold as having recently been frozen. Clearly, their objective is to pack guests in, get you fed and get you out. The food rated a 3, the service a 4, the ambiance a 2. I doubt we will be back. read more

I love this place. I have never been disappointed with the food at this location, and the food came out fast. They are pretty efficient. Appetizers: Bang Bang shrimp is so delicious. Crab cakes are delightful. I always order both when I go. Entrees: The dynamite salmon is so freaking good with lots of crab and spinach toppings. The bang bang shrimp tacos are good as well, and they pile the shrimp on. Hi again Folks I recently took my brother and sister in law here to celebrate a wonderful Anniversary. Jasmine was our wait person with the mostest! We ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp for starters and cruised the menu to try and make up our minds for the best selection. I chose the Cod smothered in scallops and shrimp all I can say is oh oh yum! Upon arrival I inquired about the reservation that I made but never received confirmation on the greeter at the desk had no answer and seated us hastily. Thanks to Yelp, I found Bonefish in the area. The staff here were all amazing and friendly. I was able to check out their new social hour menu from drinks to crowd pleaser to warm cookies. I definitely love the crowd pleaser the best which came with bang bang shrimp, tempura crunch sashimi tuna, and kung pao brussel sprouts. I'm typically not a brussel sprout kind of girl, but they nailed it. The chicken BLT nachos were good but too much going on for me, and I found that the chips were a bit too hard for me. The ahi tuna poke was delicious, but I didn't like the bed of chips. I would've wanted rice or served as is. The chocolate chip cookies were so warm and melts in your mouth. Between the coconut crush and the margarita, hands down the margarita for me because it's not as sweet and you definitely feel the alcohol. Our server Mark was a gem, he even told our table about their $7 martinis on Mondays! I wish that their menu had more of their regular offerings just smaller portions or slightly discounted. I think there's a lot of potential here, and they should consider sticking to what they're already great at. There's also plenty of free parking here on premise.
