When we arrived, while polite, they also told us they don't have a server to serve such a large party. The reservation was meaningless, unfortunately. Since one person in our party has special dietary needs and this is one place the menu suits everyone, this was disappointing. My family lovesssss Red Lobster!!!! This one in particular! We came here for my youngest son's birthday which was yesterday but we came in Sunday, 12/28 around 7. It was only one group of people in the restaurant besides us. Very much not what we expect when we come here. Usually we have to wait to be seated. However, there was a power outage so prior to our arrival. The group left and it was just us! Which was fine by my family. My youngest son's whose birthday we were celebrating is Autistic. I just joined a ladies group and they decided to have dinner here. 50 fabulous ladies showed up! I gotta be honest: I'm not a big fan of Red Lobster. I haven't been to one in 40 years! The service was excellent. However when we got to our booth in the bar area the floors were extremely dirty which is why this isn't a 5 star. Went with a friend for the Tuesday crableg special. Service was great. And, be ause we came during happy hour we got $5 margaritas as well! The cheddar bay biscuits were warm and delicious. They have a few choices for the seasoning in the butter for the crablegs. I chose garlic butter. Let me tell you that butter went on everything! I haven't been to Red lobster in a while, but after this visit it's back in rotation! I recently transitioned to pescatarian and my family and I went to red lobster for my dads birthday. My mom got the all you can eat shrimp, my dad got lobster, and my boyfriend & I got mussels and the Sesame-Soy Salmon* Bowl. I was craving the all you can eat shrimp, but the waitress advised the main shrimp I wanted (crispy dragon) wasn't available until the follow day. She told us it's 1st come 1st serve and they are limited on how much they can serve in a day. *Rolls eyes* The mussels were good but they were so small. My mom said the all you can eat shrimp that was still available was really good. But OMG the Sesame-Soy Salmon bowl was delicious and healthy too! It's been a minute since I've been back to this location. Good service for a surprising busy Monday evening. Really came for the biscuits and worried that they may be out of business soon :-) My daughter liked the pick-2 shrimp and I had the rainbow trout which was decent. Went to restaurant yesterday and it wasn't crowded or busy but the food took so long to come out. I order shrimp scampi pasta First off I love the scampi usually so with pasta to me a no brainer. One thing I've learned is over salt the water. I took two bites and decided I would take home. They are generous with shrimp. So I added salt and a fresh squeezed lemon it was better. The restroom is a reflection of the kitchen. Everything there is pathetically proportioned and sauced & to much salt. You can't order a dish with something omitted. Not substituted, just omitted. I tried to order the thing that would get the least amount of processing. ...Lobster, vegetables, & a potato. Sorry but ITS CALLED RED LOBSTER! They didn't have forks, crackers non. No way to open shellfish at a seafood restaurant. The manager was talking down to the host and the waitress in front of customers. The waitresses were bussing tables. ... The Manager should be bussing tables. This place is disappointing. A weasel reprimands their employees in front of customers or even other staff. I expected to pay a good amount. I didn't expect such a lousy meal. The best part of the meal was the service. Aliya our waitress 7/12 was great. Considering what she was given to serve. The CEO of Red Lobster was on a TV commercial asking customers to come back to the restaurant due to changes for the better. A new day.... So on January 3rd after seeing a show and most of my favorite restaurants were all booked we drove by and decided last minute to have dinner there. It was a fluke because as we the wife and myself entered into the restaurant there was a bold sign on the door saying,"We are out of all Crab sorry for the inconvenience." What the hey? We had a gift card and thought we would stop in after our little shopping trip for lunch. We sat down at the bar and was greeted by the bartender who was friendly but also short and came across rude. Oak lawn red lobster First hostess sat us at a dirty table. Salty shrimp scampi. Ultimate feast had old crab legs and barely any meat inside, Biscuits was like hard bricks with no flavor. Only time our waitress was attentive was when it was time to tip and pay. This place is not the way it used to be at all. I thought if you choose a salad for one of the sides it would be no cost. I was charge 2.99 for a ceaser salad that taste like mayo not Caesar dressing. I would have gotten another side. Restaurant was actually freezing, so by the time the food got to us after sitting for 5 mins it was also cold. We ordered appetizers pretty early on and about 20 mins later were told that it wouldn't come out by the time the food was out, so we asked for it to be taken off the bill. The food itself wasn't terrible but wasn't anything great. At the end of our meal our serve informed us that their credit card reader was down and that we would have to pay cash. No ATM inside, the server told us we could go to chase down the street. The whole experience was completely unfortunate, and honestly threw off our evening. Service was horrible. My meal was served and we were told the other meals would be right out. Mine sat there untouched as I was waiting to eat with the rest of my party, but it was 10 minutes before the other 2 meals came to the table, so by the time those others came out, mine was cold. I asked for mine to be reheated. It took another 15 minutes to get my meal back, so now the other two diners are pretty much done eating before my meal comes back out. One of the other meals ordered came with a side and we added a second side at an additional cost, which we expected to pay extra for and were ok with that charge. When the bill comes, we were charged for *two* of my meals and also had an extra charge for side that should have come with one of the meals on top of the second side charge. They didn't even bring out both sides with the meal...we had to remind the server and that took another 15 minutes to get the first side as well, so again that diner was pretty much done with their meal before they received their side which should have been included in the first place. That was an extra $20 that they tried to add to our bill for their mistakes. Absolutely absurd. At least the manager comped the first side (as they should have in the first place as it was included with the meal) and removed both charges for my order as well as comped the meal with the screwed up sides. Diners beware and double check your bill! Also on a side note, there were other diners at the next table allowing their child to use a cell phone LOUDLY to watch videos and nothing was said to them to not to disturb other diners. Very disappointed with our experience. I will find another place to dine going forward. read more

Saladvonly negative was it could have been served chilled. Was a tad bit warm for lettuce. My server was a trainee named Crystal. She was shadowing another more experienced server. Crystals service was impeccable. She didn't rush me to place an order brought out my appetizer, and then I asked if I'd like to order my next scores what I would like to drink. I always request an extra pin-a colada sauce for my shrimp, its a creamy deliciousness. I have enjoyed their caesar salads and cheddar bay biscuits for years. This location very well managed staff very well and professional. Came in on the 3rd of February 2023 and didn't know it was lobster fest boy what am I surprise I love when it is. I definitely got my eat on again Mom had her favorite as always which is the Rocky mountain trout grilled baked potato and broccoli Dad had ultimate feast which we both usually get a lot of times. He substituted the crab legs for scallops. Me of course I had to be the Big pig I am and go with the lobster lovers dream. Absolutely fantastic tonight both of the lobster tails the rock tail and the main lobster tail were cooked perfectly. The baked potato was actually excellent it was almost squishy the way I like them with the butter and the sour cream didn't even have to pull like sometimes they get overcooked. Said I didn't want a vegetable but my other side I had a side Caesar salad before the meal. Dad had a Sam Adams on draft I had a Coors light in the bottle ma had 2 glasses of Chardonnay tonight. Haven't been in this restaurant for a while. Being Easter, we thought all places were going to be full and it was just luck that this one was not. Our late lunch was really good. Had the lobster/shrimp taco trio. Bud had a fish fry and mom had the linguini Alfredo with shrimp. Everything was great. Lots of food. My tacos were actually quite good and the other two dishes were great as well. Now the best part was our waiter, Bishop. Proper. Welcoming. Respectful and on point with the service. All was in time. Spot on. Water on time. Food on time, even napkins there when we needed without having to ask. Very promising young man that had his heart on what he was doing. A rare talent if you ask me. This Red Lobster is very clean, spacious, and provides a lot of seating. Our server was very friendly and fast. We ordered three different entrees. The Cheddar biscuits are always a hit! My mom really liked her fried shrimp, fried flounder, broccoli and mashed potatoes. My husband was very satisfied with his steak, lobster, broccoli, and baked potato. I ordered lobster stuffed flounder, cole slaw, and mashed potatoes. Everything tasted great! I just felt like my portion size was small for the price. All in all, great dinner and wonderful service! Walked in from outside to a garbage can and plastic bin in the hostess area to greet me. No one manning the hostess desk. Waited a bit. Someone came and quickly left the hostess desk. Finally waitress came to help those waiting. Manager, I assume, came up and "whispered" to waitress not to seat ANYONE until it was close to their reservation time. Luckily I was right on time for my 4 pm reservation. Waitress took me to my table. Seated in the bar area. Across from us, there was a ladder, a couple of chairs tilted leaning on the bar, and maybe some other bins. Waitress says she would be back with silverware. My sister and brother-in-law arrived. Ordered drinks. Then ordered food. Drinks and biscuits were delivered. Drinks were good. Cheddar biscuits were hot and delicious. We talked and talked ... But the food - we waited ... and we waited ... and we waited ... and we waited. Food finally arrived - and the promised silverware too - more than an hour later. Had wrong entree for my BIL. He had to wait longer for his food. My lobster was overcooked, food was lukewarm. Scallops were tasteless. Shrimp was good. Mashed potatoes were hard. I was looking so forward to lobster and some creamy mashed potatoes. Disappointed. Asked for boxes. We waited. Got the check. My BIL was not in the mood to wait any longer. He got up and went to the hostess desk. She couldn't take payment, had to pay the waitress he was told. Another customer assisted us by trying to get the manager but she breezed on by but he was finally able to get our waitress. Bill was not placed in a folder where you could place credit card in to pay. When asked if they had that, waitress said no. Bill paid. After a 2 hour long unpleasant experience, we left. Happy New Year. NOT. Not quite the NYE experience we were hoping for. If it had been jam packed like back in the day, I could understand the incredibly slow service, but it was not packed. Table behind us left maybe 30 minutes after we were seated. Table was never cleared. For the last few years, my sister, her family, and I have celebrated NYE at this Red Lobster, and before the pandemic, my sister, BIL, my Dad and I celebrated NYE here.
