Been here a few times, compared to other location downtown and in the burbs. Smaller location that used to be a TGIFridays. During busy meals time expect some delays and wait time for your favorite cuts. Food quality is decent and service is quick to make things right. We have been longtime fans of Fogo de Chão and usually visit the Naperville location, which has always provided excellent food and outstanding service. Unfortunately, our recent family dinner at the Chicago location was a very different experience. My sister hosted a family dinner for 11 guests and made a significant investment in creating a special evening. Sadly, the experience did not match what we have come to expect from Fogo de Chão. The restaurant was extremely loud and busy, which made it difficult to enjoy the gathering. Several food items fell short--the broiled garlic was hard, the signature cheese bread was also disappointing, and the signature-line drink tasted watered down. We also had to ask for the baked cheese, as it was not offered to our table. Most concerning was the service: the meats came around during the first hour, but afterward there was little to no attention at our table. No one checked back in to make sure we were receiving the full experience. It was disappointing because we know how wonderful Fogo de Chão can be. The Naperville location has consistently delivered great food and attentive service, but this Chicago visit left us feeling that our family gathering did not receive the care and hospitality we expected. read more

The bartender greeted me in a timely manner. She took my drink order and asked if I knew what I wanted to eat. I said yes I'm going to do the full experience but my friend is coming I don't know what she's going to do. She brings my drink mind you never introduces herself so I asked her name. She stated her name, I couldn't really hear her so I repeated what I heard. She stated you can just call me Lali. I said no say it the "correct way" because I don't like messing people's name up. Which she replied with an attitude I said it correct the first time and walked away. Cool get pass that. My friend finally arrives. She takes her drink and food order. I requested the paper turn piece you use to tell the gauchos when to keep the meat coming or stop. Which she replied with an attitude you said you were waiting for your friend. Which I didn't debate because I never said I was waiting for my friend just stated I don't know what she will want. I never told my friend what happened before she got there because she asked why is she so snippy with you? I told her what happened. I was not impressed with the salad bar because it was about half the size of the other locations I've patronized. The meat was ok this visit. I really wanted the garlic steak but the selection I received after the first one was not up to their usual standard. It took over 30 mins for my friend's steak to come out. Mauricio and Gabriella took such good care of us. Hadn't been to Fogo de Chao in over twenty years. Did not remember the experience and wasn't sure what to expect. Hubby and I are in Orland Park a lot so I was stalking the opening. They were running a surf and turf special, so what a good time to visit. Unfortunately, our server explained that there were exclusions with the special. We opted for the Indulgent which included EVERYTHING. Full access to the salad and soup bar, crab cake with aioli, two signature sides, the cheese rolls, one cocktail and a dessert. Roll me over and call me done. I enjoyed a delicious salad with bacon, creamy lentils and fresh papaya from the salad bar. The garlic mashed potatoes were creamy, the cheese rolls melted in my mouth, the churrasco was tender, juicy and flavorful. My cocktail was refreshingly boozy. I enjoyed a few bites of the molten chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream. If you are able to donate five dollars to support 'No Kid Hungry' you will receive an additional FREE dessert and a 25$ coupon to use per party on your next visit beginning October 1st and expiring November 16th. So, that was one dessert to eat at the restaurant and one dessert to go. read more

I had never been to Fogo prior to this visit. It was a bit overwhelming because there's a LOT of activity happening all around. It's clearly a venue where large families visit to celebrate birthdays. Let me tell you something, Fogo may charge a hefty entry fee (avg. $70/person). But they make it worthwhile. The amount of food that comes with that price tag is astonishing. It's all unlimited. And it's CONSTANT. I'm not a huge meat eater, so I didn't get the unlimited meat like my party. But even my Chilean sea bass was hearty. I enjoyed my time and I do recommend Fogo in Orland Park. Our server Sky was superb. I will look for her when I go back. She was perfect and I left her a bountiful tip! read more

We visited for the second time about two weeks after opening and unfortunately, the experience didn't quite match our first visit. We ordered the Brazilian lemonade but had to ask multiple times and ended up waiting nearly 30 minutes for it to arrive. We also never received the additional water we requested. During the churrasco experience, there were long stretches where we were waiting to be served meat and having to ask for items or assistance. That said, one of the highlights of our visit was an outstanding waitress--a Black woman with glasses, I couldn't catch her name. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and made a genuine effort to improve our experience. Her service was deeply appreciated along with a few other waiters. read more

I thought having an 84th birthday celebration at Fogo de Chao would be an exceptional experience for my dad, but I was very mistaken and disappointed. Upon arriving at Fogo de Chao, even though the reservation was made 3 weeks in advance, we had to wait until they set up the table for 15 people. I pre-ordered a Tomahawk steak for a dad a week in advance, but we had to repeatedly ask about it. He had to wait over an hour for his steak, and this was so unacceptable and disrespectful. The Market Table and Feijoada Bar was disappointing and overcrowded. The cleanliness of it was questionable with the multitude of people handling the serving instruments. I'm almost positive that my sister got diarrhea the same night because of it. I paid close to $1,700 for my family to have the Full Churrasco Experience, however, we were only offered 5 of the 15 meats that my sales manager promised me (see the attached menu she shared with me). I had to ask 3 different times for just some chicken, and we only received 5 pieces for a table of 15 people. We also did not receive any Queijo Assado. Everything on the table was cold. The mashed potatoes were cold. The cheese bread was cold. Also, why did I have to ask for something as simple as steak sauce? This is a steak restaurant, no? The sales manager that helped me plan the dinner was very outgoing and helpful and first, but right after I signed the agreement, she became cold, and made me feel like I was just a number. I think it would be beneficial if you trained your sales people to follow up and inquire with their customer post-event. The one positive is that our servers were nice and tried to help, however it overshadowed our horrible experience. The restaurant has a beautiful ambiance. My waiter was very nice. I don't get the Churrasco Experience because all of the meat is too salty and ends up tasting the same to me. But I love the beef rib. I waited over 30 minutes to receive my beef rib. When I received it, it wasn't as tender as the one served in downtown Chicago and it was more salty. The waiter just gave it to me for free for my long wait. My hamburger was very good. The fries were just a bunch of scraps and not full fries so I couldn't eat many of them. On March 8, 2026, I took my mom and our extended family to celebrate her 93rd birthday at Fogo de Chão in Orland Park. What a lovely experience! The salad bar was incredible--so interesting and creative. Many of the selections were unique and beautifully prepared. My personal favorite was the sugar-glazed bacon strips--absolutely delicious. Then came the endless stream of meats, and they were outstanding. The servers bringing the meats never skipped a beat. They surrounded our table with a wonderful variety--beef, pork, and chicken--and it was so much fun getting to try the unlimited selections. And just when we thought it couldn't get better, dessert arrived, which was the perfect ending to a wonderful birthday celebration. Our server Gabrella was fantastic and could not have been more attentive. He stayed on top of everything, making sure we always had clean plates, refilled drinks, and everything we needed. I went there for the first on Sunday, 2/22 for my daughter's birthday. We had a party of 7 and I felt that the whole experience was horrible. I felt it was such a disappointment to my daughter's celebration because the service and some of the food was not satisfying at all. From the beginning it just seemed as though we didn't get any attention and food not being served to us until we had to talk to a manager. I couldn't understand how a restaurant of this caliber didn't have the basic cranberry juice to mix with a cocktail. The first drink I ordered from the menu was just disgusting to me and my daughter. Asked for my go to drink which Grey Goose and cranberry, only to be told that they don't have any cranberry juice. Was beyond shocked when the manager said it was all used up for Valentines weekend which was a week ago . So we can't improvise and maybe just buy some until the next order comes in . My next problem was trying to get any meat well done, particularly Ribeye. I lost count on how many times different people came to the table with the same meat and I asked for well done ribeye and it took over an hour for them to finally bring the ribeye meat but it was medium well . Asked for chicken that was nowhere to be found finally came after an hour and half and didn't like it at all along with cold mashed potatoes that kept being served with different consistency each time it was placed on the table. The manager came and offered 3 additional desserts complimentary which I had a problem with because I was allergic or couldn't eat anything on the dessert menu. So tell me how was that a nice gesture for my inconvenience ‍ Since it was my daughter birthday she asked for her dessert and if they could put Happy Birthday on the plate. After about a 45 minute wait they brought the wrong dessert with Thank You on it instead of Happy Birthday No singing or acknowledging at all, just the dessert that was ordered to go with Thank You for wasting our time and money on terrible service and mediocre food that was overpriced. Needless to say I will never return or recommend this particular restaurant to no one and maybe after I get over this bad aftertaste of this dining experience maybe I will try a different location to see if the price of the bill matches the attention and service that I expect. read more

There was nothing exceptional to report about our dining experience at this Fogo de Chao restaurant location. In comparison to the nearby competition of the same restaurant concept, Fogo de Chao seemed to miss some of the high notes. Starting with the salad bar, it was adequate but nothing exceptional. Fresh fruits filled in for the absence of abundance of quality selections. The meats presented to us were lacking in taste or wrongly matched. I was not fond of the lemon pepper lamb which was way too tart and very lemony which did nothing to enhance the flavor of the meat. Lemon pepper is best applied to fish or chicken. I love sausage of any kind however I found their sausage offering to be greasy and not edible. There were other items presented that were good. The servers weren't as nearly as polished as the nearby competition. There is much room at this establishment for correction or improvement across the board. To garner repeat business willing to return to Fogo de Chao please be open to helpful critiquing. While our lunch experience wasn't all bad, we felt that you all need to work at every level. Was there to celebrate a High school graduation, we were a party of 4. Overall the limited meats were good and the salad bar was stocked with a variety of items including brunch items. . The service left a lot to be desired. The same 3 meats were going around consistently, lamb, chicken and bacon wrapped steak. My husband got the chicken, another gaucho came over with steak and realized his chicken was under cooked, NOT ONCE did he say thats undercooked, instead he asked another server to bring a clean plate, my husband put his utensils on the clean plate the gaucho then goes "NO SAMONELLA" takes my husbands utensils and plates and walks away never to return with new utensils or an explanation. We decide we wanted lamb chops asked a floor manager who said they would get them for us, 12 minutes later he asked" no one bought out the lamb chops?" 10 minutes after that still no chops. During the wait we asked the server for our check, he said oh we have a dessert for the graduate let me get you a dessert menu, 10 minutes no dessert menu and no check. I then stop the "customer service manager" asking for a check 5 minutes later we get a check. I stopped the "customer service manager" again to bring up my concerns. his response " we are just opening, we are ironing out the kinks, and there is not 1 server per table, they are communal services. BUT as we are leaving our original server who initially greeted and served us stopped to let us know she was back from break, I thought I was just told it was communal service LOL! I was a part of a large party for a relative's birthday. The atmosphere is incredibly overstimulating and overcrowded. So, if a family member you know has sensory issues, I wouldn't take them here. It caused my nephew to have a breakdown in the middle of service. Another thing, make sure to keep your plate close when entering the buffet line. For some reason, the kitchen doors are right next to it, and I was constantly being bumped into. I do not know how servers are supposed to do their job in such a cramped restaurant. My party paid over $1600 for a package, but we were only served 1/3rd of the meat included in the deal. Not to mention my aunt, who reserved our table, was promised a gift card, but was never compensated. Take this information as you will. Always checking on you to make sure you have everything you need. All of the staff are extremely attentive to the patrons. The food!!! The food!!! I'm a big fan of their Market Table . Everything is always fresh, bountiful and delicious. The area is always beautiful displayed and kept clean and immaculate. The smoked salmon and capers make me feel as if I'm in heaven . Xitlali is a brilliant, beautiful bartender!!! ...and she makes a mean STRAWBERRY HIBISCUS CAIPIRINHA!!!! So delicious Arlenne, Gabriella, Laura, and Xitlali really are excellent representatives for Fogo de Chão. Maurice, Tony and Jasmine are wonderful managerial leaders and they lead their employees by example for sure!!! They interact with both employees and patrons, help staff out by clearing and setting tables, retrieving items for the customer and everything else. I love the teamwork here!!! Let me start by saying I've been a Fogo fan for multiple years. I've been to many locations, not only in the states, but also Brazil. We went to this location for my best friend's anniversary dinner. There were a total of five of us, three adults and two children. Upon being seated we were greeted to a small bowl of pao de queijo that was ice cold and only contained four pieces. Upon receiving refills throughout the evening, it remained cold every time and only enough for four people at the table vs. the five that we had. We had our trip to the salad bar which was fine however upon waiting for clean plates to start meat service is where the trouble really began. It took well over ten minutes for clean plates which we had to request. We flipped our medallions to green and were excited to sample the different meats. After another lapse of about eight minutes, cheese with honey was served. It was the only plus of the night. Sausage came and about ten minutes later picanha. There was zero flavor to the meat and it didn't seem to be seasoned either. Another long wait and chicken came. Another very long wait and bottom sirloin came around. Upon seeing it on the skewer, it looked laced with fat and upon slicing off a piece it smelled rancid. After that, there wasn't a gaucho in sight. A different server than ours came over to ask how things were going and we expressed our disappointment. She asked what meats we wanted to try and we told her we hadn't seen garlic beef, filet, ribeye, pork, etc. even walking around. She said she'd take care of it and also send over the "customer experience" person to speak with us. He never came. We finally got some filet which was mediocre at best. Fogo as a whole has really gone downhill since it was bought out which is really unfortunate. The quality of the food was really subpar for $65 per person. To make matters worse, two of our patrons ended up incredibly ill from the food. I noticed a review on OpenTable for the same night that some other folks also got ill. Fogo, if you read this, Layla is a treasure. She's the only one that cared and consistently apologized for such an awful experience. She deserves all of the tips from that night and more. As for the "customer experience" person, time to brush up on your service. We won't be back to this, or any other Fogo location after this visit. read more
