Her presentation for wine, menu and desserts were excellent! We ordered filets in wine sauce, whipped potato and my favorite, asparagus. Dinner was delicious. Jean brought me a rose, birthday sign, champagne for a toast and a dessert, no charge. She personalized my birthday dinner so graciously! I'm so very grateful! Many choices on the menu! We asked for the Manager. She too was lovely to speak with. I highly recommend Seasons 52! read more

I've only been twice but both experiences were great. Both times were on a Sunday night and I sat at the bar. Service is always attentive and drinks are pricey but tasty. The atmosphere is dimly lit (which I love), clean, lots of wood and leather everywhere. It's spacious but also cozy. On to the food.. my favorites have been the butterfish and the trout. This last time I got a pesto gnocchi with shrimp. The shrimp was really good right off the grill as were the gnocchi but it was kind of swimming in an oily sauce. I expected it to either be creamy or lightly coated pasta, instead of a pool of pesto and oil. The sauce didn't really stay on to the gnocchi because it was so thin. I used my extra pita bread to sop it up. The artichoke with hummus appetizer is also tasty. My friend got the lamb shank (chops?) and she also enjoyed her meal. The espresso martini was good but it had like a chunky shaved chocolate or something on the rim which was unnecessary and made it kind of hard to drink. We haven't tried any desserts yet but they look amazing. It was about $150 for 2 cocktails, 2 glasses of wine, 2 entrees, and 1 appetizer. This was my first time here and it didnt disappoint. The appetizer was the Chipotle BBQ Shrimp Flatbread, it was delicious. The cilantro made gave it that fresh taste to it. The entrées were New York Strip W/ Lobster tail and Lamb Loin w/ mashed potatoes. The surf and turf was delicious and perfectly medium rare. The Lamb was medium well and was a hit. The mashed Yukan potatoes was delicious with garlic buttered asparagus! Kiarra was are server and she was excellent. She gave great customer service and knowledgeable about the menu items we had questions about. The dessert was a oatmeal cream pie and Turtle cheese cake, both was very good! First time at Seasons 52 and it won't be my last. I went there for my birthday with my sister and cousins. I ordered a New Old Fashioned, it was very tasty, and for dessert I had to order two desserts that looked so good, I ordered the Raspberry Chocolate Chip Cannoli and the Peanut Butter Chocolate, which was also a big hit, perfect desserts to share. I ordered the Crab & Shrimp Stuffed Mushrooms big enough to share. For my main course, Wood-Grilled Shrimp & Grits, the grits were smooth as silk, along with plenty of crunchy shrimp, enough to take a little home for later. ​ My cousin ordered the Tuscan White Bean Soup and the Pesto Chicken and Mozzarella Flatbread; she said both were delicious. My other cousin said the Wood-Grilled Idaho Rainbow Trout with Oven-Roasted Potatoes was very good, but both my sister and cousin said the green beans were a little tough to chew. The Rotisserie Half Chicken with rice and French Green Beans was ordered by my sister; she said it could have been a little bigger. ​ Our server, Bekka, was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu selections. The lemon drop was good I had the rotisserie chicken tasty. My friends enjoyed their dinner one had steak the other had salmon. The only thing we didn't care was the stuffed shrimp mushrooms. I love mushrooms and these were tiny and shrimp wasn't seasoned and the spinach and cream cheese stuffing could use some salt. Our server was wonderful. The restaurant was decorated nicely. The staff was wonderful. Our waitress was really attentive and informative as this was our 1st visit and the bartender received kudos from my mom on her excellently made cocktail (whiskey sour). We came for restaurant week. We both had lobster bisque for our 1st course and both agreed it could've used less corn and more lobster (and a tad more butter) so it was just ok for the price. For our second courses, I had the scallops with risotto and broccolini while my mom had the lamb loin with mashed potatoes and broccolini. Additionally, we had the shared side of caramelized brussels sprouts. All 3 were pretty amazing. Lastly for the mini indulgence desserts, I had the turtle cheesecake and raspberry chocolate chip cannoli, which were divine and the perfect size for a dessert. My mom took hers to go (pecan pie and key lime pie) and she enjoyed both the next day but noted they are probably better fresh (duh lol). I'd experienced Seasons 52 once before in Massachusetts. The experience there was lackluster, and thus I entered with low expectations. The experience at this location was surprisingly fantastic. We started with the Ahi Tuna Tartare. This was one of the best iterations of Tuna Tartare I've had in a hot minute! The ingredients were very fresh and well balanced. The mango salsa added a fantastic contrast with a bit of sweetness and crunch from the onion. The avocado, a pairing it is hard to go wrong with, did its job well in adding savory and fatty notes. When it comes to the Sea Scallops, these too were divine. The scallops were fresh and cooked to perfection. I loved that these were allowed to shine accented only by a very light sauce. Then, out of left field came the risotto. This was abundantly creamy, well seasoned with herbs, and cooked ideally. The critique I have is regarding the broccolini. These missed the mark in that they were very tough. What made the experience truly next level was the service. It was fast and perfectly attentive - making sure we were okay and taken care of while still allowing our date to go forward without abrupt interruption. Finally, while Seasons 52 is not exactly cheap, I think the value is fair considering the quality of product and service we received. Final verdict: Whatever happened in Massachusetts needs to be put in the archives. There's either a new sheriff in town, or it's just a new town! Whatever the case, this Seasons 52 delivers across the board, except, perhaps, for the broccolini. read more

This update is to review my planning experience for a large group dinner (more than 8 people). My extended family is large and we like to celebrate special occasions throughout the year. This was the first time I planned anything with Seasons 52. Things to note... *You can't just make a regular reservation a big group for a regular reservation (over 8 people); you need to speak to a manager because it considered an event. *For lunch, there is a minimum spend of $500 for a group of 15. If it is dinner it is more than double. (I was able to keep it at $500, but I guess they made an exception. We ended up spending more than that anyway.) *To secure your reservation, you need to sign a contract (Docusign) and put down a credit card. You must give at least 1 week's notice in order to cancel; otherwise you pay half of the minimum spend. I'm not sure how I feel about this process considering I have planned many events at other places without having to sign anything, worrying about minimums, etc. My family likes to celebrate, so it is definitely worthwhile for a restaurant to host us. Overall, the evening went well. Servers were top notch. Food was good - I did not hear any complaints - and my family was happy. As for planning another big group occasion here, I'm still reflecting on this... read more

Note, our initial reservation was for 11/29 but a snowstorm was predicted so we were easily able to change our reservation to 11/28. We walk in and staff is very friendly and immediately wishes me a happy b-day. They seat us at a nice booth and boom, they put the cutest mini chalkboard on the table that says "Happy Birthday" and also a card. I LOVED the personal touch in making my b-day nice. Our server was super nice and helpful and even took pictures of us for us by the beautiful floral tree. The decor inside is simply beautiful! I love the lighting, it's a warm setting. Our food consisted of the beet salad, the mushrooms, lamb and the scallops with a side order of a lobster tail. The scallops come with brocollini but I asked for a substitute and they offered brussel sprouts. The scallops came with a delicious risotto that could be served as a main meal in my opinion. So good! I love scallops but unfortunately, my scallops were over grilled so I didn't enjoy them like I wanted to. The lobster tail I couldn't eat, very fishy taste. Everything else was delicious including our drinks. For my b-day, they let me choose a mini dessert so I chose the key lime pie. The key lime is creamy and good but for me, it was too much of the graham cracker crust to really enjoy it. We have already made a reservation to come back on Christmas Eve for dinner and are looking forward to it. I think I want to try the butterfish this time as I've never had it. This is definitely a great place for a date night or a family dinner. They do have a private room if you want to have a private event there. We came in for a late lunch just after 3 on Sunday afternoon. The seasonal apple bourbon infusion was a delicious beginning - the apple was just right and the bourbon was strong. We had a Mac and cheese for the table, and we both ordered the filet salad. Everything was delicious. The mini dessert bites were good, though I would have enjoyed a more traditional dessert menu as we were celebrating my friend's birthday. Had a dinner with my wife and even with an advanced OpenTable reservation still had a little wait to be seated around the dinner time rush. We had the lobster bisque which was awesome. Side Cesar Salad was just the right size. Prices were not totally crazy. Still have found memories of the old Chuy's Tex Mex who used to be in the same building in Orland Park. Food - Service - Ambiance! We celebrated our 32nd wedding anniversary on Thursday at 52 Seasons. It was our first time at this restaurant, and it was beyond anything we have experienced. Olivia was our server and she made it special with her hospitality and she suprised us as she presented us with a table setting for our celebration, a card, and to finish she brought us a complimentary dessert with champagne as a gift from 52 Seasons. On our way out we saw the manager and thanked her for a wonderful dining experience durng the lunch time. She was very professional and personable. I love divining al fresco whenever possible with the intemperate Chicago weather. The ambiance was great. Not too large an area and not too small. The only drawback of outdoor dining was the sometimes overwhelming car and truck noise on La Grange Road. It was difficult to hear the server or engage in conversation with my party from time to time. The menu was somewhat limited for my taste, especially in the soup choices. Since it was mid-afternoon, I was looking for lighter fare. But, a hearty soup with some veggies was what I wanted. I had to settle for the Lobster Bisque. It was tasty, but it could have been served a bit warmer. Also, there was no "bread service" which I found unique. I ordered the Avocado Toast. It was delicious! My dining partner ordered the pork chop and Muscato. She praised the meat commenting that it was seasoned and cooked to perfection! She was less impressed with the wine and switched to a Sprite. We had a small dining disaster with an overturned glass of water. Most of the spillage drowned my Avocado Toast. Our server could not be found. But, an attentive server at a neighboring table stepped up, cleared the mess, and ordered me a replacement Toast before our waiter returned to check on us. Shortly after, 2 replacement Avocado Toasts arrived at our table only moments apart. It's difficult to evaluate the service. It was obvious our server was inexperienced. He only had one table, ours, on the patio. As I mentioned, the server from a neighboring table addressed our water issue while serving his party of 5 or 6 diners. The restaurant is lovely. The manager was exceptional. But, I probably won't check out their menus for summer, fall, or winter. read more

We were about to leave town and we found season 52 so we decided to stop and get an early dinner. Boy were we pleased. We were seated right away in a nice table for the four of us. Our server came out took great care of us. She asked if we could guess where she was from and I guessed New York I was correct.. the food came out pretty quickly. Soup salad. I actually enjoyed a very delicious salad as did my wife she enjoyed a steak salad. My brother had the tacos which he said were excellent and I must say the drinks were excellent as well. I made online reservations for 4:30 pm and was so glad because it gets busy. The staff is wonderful. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly and seated quickly. If you are a first-time patron, as we were, they are very appreciative and humble that you chose to dine with them. The ambiance is very elegant and beautiful. Our waitress was Nicole, and she was delightful! She asked if we were celebrating anything special. Hubby told her it was my birthday. We had reservations for wife's birthday at 3:00 today. We arrived promptly at 3:00 and were greeted by a rude hostess who told us it would be several minutes before we could be seated. The restaurant was nearly empty but she fooled around with menus or something and finally seated us at a table when all the booth were empty. Her surly attitude set the stage. We were then greeted by a nice waiter who was polite and efficient. We had a flat bread and two dinner entrees that were good but we were attacked by a swarm of fruit flies that landed in our drinks and on our food. Went for Anniversary dinner and service was fantastic from start to finish. They even ask if you are celebrating something. They put a little sign, number lights and gave us a small glass of champagne. Made the night special off the bat. A managing general partner (I apologize I forgot his name) was very welcoming and chatted us up for a minute. He was very gracious. We started with the tuna tartare appetizer. The tuna itself was fresh and delicious. There was too much of some seasoning/herb possibly cumin that tainted the dish. Would not try again. My wife had a filet that was cooked perfectly, had a delicious mushroom gravy, broccolini and mashed potatoes. My son had the kids filet with green beans and potatoes. He loved it. I tried the Alaskan Butterfish (Sable I think). It was served with rice and wilted spinach. The flash itself was a tad fishy. I never had sable but it did not taste like I had anticipated. Orland Park just got a Seasons 52 recently and we were anxious to try this place out ... we came in with a group of 8. The owners did a wonderful job turning the former Mexican restaurant into a chichi sort of dining establishment. Nice furnishings all around in this noisy, crowded, modern dining room. Service was excellent ... there was waitstaff all over the place and they were pretty attentive. They also shared duties as you might order from one person, but a whole crew of others would help serve the table at once. Nice touch, and we were here on a busy Saturday at the end of December. The food was routinely very good here ... pricey but good. Each main was roughly $35, with some a bit higher and some a bit lower. With a drink, each tab ended up about $50 per before tax and tip. While pricey, the food quality justified the price level ... very good. Diners at our table had the Oak-grilled Filet Mignon, Kona-crusted Lamb Loin, caramelized Sea Scallops, cedar plank Salmon, and rotisserie Chicken -- and all were carried off very nicely. There wasn't a bad dish in the group. We would easily return here for the food. Libations also were very good ... besides all the usual nicely-crafted cocktails, they had a finely curated wine list . If there was one slight off-note with our visit it concerned the add-on in the bill. It seems like every restaurant has found a way to slightly increase your bill with a surcharge ... one way or another. Here the restaurant calculates your suggested tip amount based on the bill plus the tax ... which means you would pay a tip on the base amount and a tip on the tax. Now this isn't a large figure since it only adds in roughly a 20 percent tip on the ten percent tax ... about 2 percent of every bill. For us it only added $9 or so to the bill, but it just seems like a cheap little thing to do for an otherwise classy place. When I think of Seasons 52, I think of constant change. Seasons 52 is really about the change of Seasons, and their menu reflects this change winter, spring, summer and fall. Every season gets a shift/change in menu. I like this concept, as the menu never gets old! Nothing at Seasons 52 is fried. Wood grilled, seared, baked....all healthy options of preparations go into each delish dish. Fresh vegetables and meats. Bold and tasty. This trip was for gal pal time and we had an early lunch. We started with simple drinks-fresh, delightfully crafted that left our taste buds happy. It's new so very clean. Staff was friendly. I had the lobster bisque and Philly flatbread which was delicious. We shared a salad that they split in half which was nice. My friend had the Mahi Mahi tacos and the salad that came with. She ate it all. All dishes under 550 calories I believe the waitress said so have that extra cocktail! read more
