Our waitress hustled the entire time we were there. Literally running back-and-forth from the kitchen to her tables. I don't think her feet quit moving on the entire time we were there.

I like Bones French Quarter. It's a great little place that serves fun, food and libations. The staff are super friendly and as you can see from the photo they embrace the holiday spirit with spirits, beer and wine. The breakfast menu is amazing with traditional and Cajun dishes, the cut potatoes are a must as they are seasoned perfectly so make sure to skip the hash browns in favor of the cut taters. As mentioned, super friendly staff who bring a fun attitude that matches the atmosphere. Definitely will return for more of everything.

5 stars! We were hesitant to try because of the reviews. Glad we did! Great food, service, and price! Will definitely be back

I've always wanted to eat at Bones French Quarter. The few times I've tried they have been too busy to get near it. They probably have 6-8 tables and then bar seating. At like 5pm on a Wednesday in the summer all the bar seats were occupied and maybe 1/2 the tables? We got drinks and then I ordered the Cajun Craw-fish dinner and my dinner date ordered a cheeseburger and chips. For sides I got French Fries and coleslaw. I had asked the server if the coleslaw had mayonnaise in it. She said no so I got it but it did so that was a no go for me. The fries were your basic freezer bag crinkle cut and the Cajun craw-fish was good. Again, freezer bag...but it had a nice spice and breading on it. I think the sauce they served with it was probably the Cajun ranch. It was decent. I didn't try the cheeseburger but it looked good. I guess there is a shift change at 5:30 ish and our server wanted us to "cash out" before she left even though we weren't finished eating yet. I get it but that hasn't happened to me in years. Otherwise the service was fair considering it was one woman tending bar and waiting the tables. She's my new hero! The place got busier as we sat there. This is very much a neighborhood bar that just happens to be on Manchester facing the street. I'm sure the majority of the patrons are pretty regular. No one is reinventing anything here but I wouldn't hesitate to return! Something tells me it's a place to go for breakfast.

Is this a smoking or non smoking bar? Is this a good place to drop in If a single female just wanting to be around other people?

Non smoking. We allow smoking on the patio/deck area. Inside and downstairs is nonsmoking. A lot of singles hang out here

I think they're plastic, but could be wrong. They were all taken when we got there so we had to eat inside. The inside is pretty small. There were two open tables but they were filthy. We ended up sitting at a counter along the windows. The menu is on a board. We chose what we wanted and we just guessed at what to do next. There didn't appear to be any table service so my husband walked up to the bar and placed our order. We believe there was only one person working there that night. She was working the bar, cooking, and delivering drinks and food to tables. And she was pleasant! The place is small, dirty, and it was super loud. People were vaping like crazy and I don't believe most places allow that. I'm not a fan of being around it. Not a great atmosphere! There was no way I was going to use the women's restroom after my husband reported back on the men's room. He said the door was hard to close because it was somewhat hanging off the hinges. He could barely turn around in there because it's so small. He said it was disgustingly dirty. The pluses were they there was water, soap, and paper towels, and there were no live bugs. The food was very average. Supposedly the Larry Burger is great. It was not. It was very average. It was thicker than most burgers, but that's about it. We each had one of those and we shared an order of fried mushrooms. The mushrooms were the highlight of our time there. They would have been better with horseradish sauce instead of ranch dressing. I can't imagine the scenario that would see us going there again.

We had a good time playing pool and there was a male bartender making our first drinks that was very friendly and conversational. The female bartender made our second round of drinks and was more standoffish as if we didn't fit the "dive bar scene" since we were dressed up a bit. We enjoyed a couple rounds of pool and watching the World Cup game then we left before karaoke was about to start. Bar itself has plenty of seating and nice lighting for the bottles. After learning the story about the owner and the bar, I'm very happy this place is still open but I don't think we'll be back.

It was very loud when we visited, not because of the karaoke, so it was a bit difficult to speak with the bartenders. I guess people were having a good time! There are lots of drink choices at reasonable prices. There is also food, which I didn't try. For the karaoke, you go up to the KJ get into the queue, and then add your songs across the evening for each of your turns. There was quite a variety being sung. You sing in front of the fireplace. There is a little bit of room to dance around the edges but not much. Despite being a "nonsmoking" bar, there were patrons vaping indoors and there was a cigarette smell inside (perhaps wafting in from the smokers outside?). The ladies bathroom was very clean. There is free parking outside in their attached lot, but you might have to get creative if you get there later in the night, as the lot gets crowded. This bar has a fun vibe for your friend group to go blow off some steam, but probably not a good place to take a first date.

Our night's like St. Patrick's Day and through the Linton season expect this pub to be packed from corner to corner to the heated patio outside. On busy nights you just have to kind of look and see for a table that's open or order takeout and enjoy sitting on the patio if you can't find seating on your own. Service can be a bit chaotic so I always recommend taking your time when wanting to visit this establishment on a busy night for regular dinner nights and lunch. It's a little bit slower so come and enjoy one of the weekly specials that will get you hooked on the environment and coming back for more. This restaurant is not very accessible for wheelchair users. There are a couple of steps around the restaurant and into the main dining room and the tables and boots are very close together so of traditional wheelchair will need a lot of adjustments to fit.
