Cool cafe in the East End. Decent amount of seating inside. There's also a side area for playing board games. They also sell some board and card games. Chill atmosphere for getting work done here too. Good coffee and pastries. Service was good. Friendly staff. A few parking spots in front or there's street parking.

Bongo Java is located within the Omni hotel. Signs aren't the greatest, but the hotel Staff graciously point you in the right direction. Plenty of seating, nice setting, fast service. Now to the good part! Bacon, egg and cheese on a biscuit. The bacon was amazing. I wanted to order more bacon by itself. Really good. Two drinks today iced chai, and the Broadway. Not a fan of the chai, tasted very medicine like. The broadway wasn't as flavorful as the ingredient list. Not bad, just seems like it could have more of a flavor boost. Glad I went, the breakfast sandwich was great. Grab a quick bite, relax while working, whatever you need.

Great coffee; this was one of the best lattes I've had! In addition to coffee and tea, Bongo also has breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, and other light bites. This location is inside Omni Nashville on the first floor, just past the elevators, so very convenient if you are staying there. There's seating available to dine or work. Overall, good spot.

A great spot to grab a cup of coffee, especially if you're staying at the Omni Hotel! The service was very nice, friendly and fast! It's a good place to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee as you work or before you venture out to enjoy Nashville!

Opened early and tasty coffee. The five points coffee drink was surprisingly delicious. Cute Xmas decor throughout. Gives off casual trendy Starbucks-esque coffeehouse vibes.

Go for the Local Latte. Honey and cinnamon mixed with coffee is divine. Every time I come across a Bongo Java, it's a must for me.

Anyways the staff is really helpful. As soon as you're seated you're greeted and given the 411 on the place being a scratch kitchen, everything made in house and this is important because it contributes to the amazing quality control. But I digress. They also have merchandise and a pastry kitchen for you to grab and go coffee if you don't have time to enjoy the delicious food at a table. Now you cannot really go wrong here. We started off with the ricotta and honey on sourdough...amazing. And that honey? I wanted to take one home so bad but I did not want to check in my bag for it so I'll have to come by again. I could eat this pairing for days. So good. We stuck to the basics, biscuits with our cravings (chicken on mine, and bacon + egg + cheese on my friends) and a curry. Left leaving stuffed. Those biscuits...you must. 10/10 recommend and will be back!

Cafe intermezzo falls into our lap. Unbelievable find. An oasis in the desert. Door opens a happy lady comes out with her friends and sees us looking at menu, she says "Go here. You will love it". She described a few dishes. Loved the French toast and Turkish coffee. Not sure but loving her passionate suggestion we went in. It was like walking into a cafe in Zurich Paris or Rome. Server was professional neat and polite. Menu was extensive. The classy wood paneling and nice tables were memorable. I ordered a crepe Florentine. It was savory type. It was amazing. My daughter ordered a more traditional sandwich and salad. She loved it too. There was breakfast lunch and dinner selections. Great desserts on display and being served table-side. They also made good espresso drinks. The reason I am giving 3 stars are for 3 main reasons. A) The front of the cafe smells like the sewer - incredibly unappetizing when you walk in or out. B) Our waitress messed up our order. She forgot to bring a Diet Coke. When we questioned her for it, she brought a regular coke instead of a Diet Coke. She then left the regular Coke and still charged us for the Diet Coke. C) There were 4 open tables around us. I had brought a chair next to us for us to put our purses on (they would not stay hanging on the bistro chair due to the rounded back). She told me she needed that chair "because she was planning on filling all the tables." The tables were never filled before we left and I had to cover my purse with my napkin throughout my meal.
