Loved the French toast and Turkish coffee. Not sure but loving her passionate suggestion we went in. It was like walking into a cafe in Zurich Paris or Rome. Server was professional neat and polite. Menu was extensive. The classy wood paneling and nice tables were memorable. I ordered a crepe Florentine. It was savory type. It was amazing. My daughter ordered a more traditional sandwich and salad. She loved it too. There was breakfast lunch and dinner selections. Great desserts on display and being served table-side. This was our first stop after landing in Nashville and was a great start. The cafe was charming and warm and we were lucky to be seated near a window. Our server was friendly, speedy, and accommodating. We got the Eggs Benedict and Croque Monsieur and both were great. I was a bigger fan of the Eggs Benedict even though the Hollandaise sort of tasted like mayo. The rosemary potatoes were fantastic. We also got a side of chicken sausage and were happy with our choice. For cocktails, I got Paris on Fire, which was an easy drink. This place is located on Demonbreun street between third and fourth. So many incredible choices here and I like that it is fairly quick service. The interior is as European as it gets and the staff is always so pleasant. Pay close attention to the coffee and drinks menu as it offers so many great options. I have heard such great things about Cafe Intermezzo and have always wanted to try it out. After leaving an event at Bridgestone, we finally decided to stop by for some dessert! It definitely exceeded my expectations. We were able to get a table right away, and when you walk in, there's a big dessert display case which is always exciting. Our waiter was extremely nice and was able to explain some questions we had about the menu. I ended up getting a cappuccino that had hazelnut spread (Nutella) in it, and it was fantastic! We also ordered the hot chocolate Berlin which was the same thing as me just in hot chocolate form. That was also incredible!! We all split the chocolate raspberry torte and the tiramisu and both were also fresh and delicious. The ambiance felt like I wasn't even in Nashville, and since it was cold, it definitely felt very cozy. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and can't wait to go back! Such a unique and intimate dining experience! Definitely had an old-timey feel and kind of felt like I was transported to France. When walking in, they have a case full of different assortments of cheesecake. The mood lighting was really nice and added to the date night vibe. All came with Schlag (fancy whipped cream) and it was all so so yummy and rich! some of the best hot chocolate and cheesecake I've had. My office placed a pickup order, and I went with the Spicy Tortellini and a full Blackened Salmon. I'd seen so many glowing reviews for the tortellini that I was a little nervous it might be overwhelmingly spicy--but it was perfect. Just the right amount of heat: bold, flavorful, and pleasantly warm without being too hot. The blackened salmon was outstanding--perfectly seasoned with that beautiful charred crust, yet incredibly moist and delicious inside. Both dishes exceeded expectations and were packed with flavor. We had already had coffee so we stuck with iced water. The food was fresh and delicious; I like the open kitchen where you can see them preparing the food. My chicken florentine crepe was really good and a large portion. I could have finished the entire thing but showed restraint so I wasn't too full. My bf had the open-faced croissant with fluffy, perfectly cooked eggs, bacon and potatoes. It was excellent. Tucked away near the four seasons, I discovered this place and I now have a new spot on my list to continue going to . The ambiance was chill late night, adult conversation and just vibing . This is the best breakfast spot in Nashville. We waited at a famous pancake spot down the street who shall remain nameless, for over 40 minutes with no end to the wait in sight, on a Monday. Prompt, charming and professional. Requests were promptly received and acted on. The chef came out personally to actually offer to add more veggies to my friend's 'no meat' omelette she asked for. Beautiful European-esque cafe located close to Broadway. Perfect location for those traveling and staying in that area. Holy crap this was the BEST eats I had on my most recent Nashville trip!! They have an insanely large variety of coffee options to start, both normal selection as well as some that you might never see at most coffee shops - turkish coffee made in the old fashioned way, and an insane number of alcoholic coffee options. It took me quite a while to settle on the alcoholic coffee: "Cappucino la scala" - cappuccino italiano with chocolate and almond liquer. It comes with the alcohol on the side because the waitress explained that they are quite proud of their coffee there... and LET ME TELL YOU. My first sip of that cappuccino and I immediately understood what she meant - it was the best coffee I've had in FOREVER. Perfectly balanced and left me wanting for more. The liquer was also quite tasty to sip, but I did add it into my coffee towards the end. 10/10!! For brunch item, I ordered the egg white omelette and swapped the goat cheese for swiss. It was absolutely delicious!!! All the ingredients tasted extra good, I was shocked but definitely think Nashville has an upper hand when it comes to brunch compared to Los Angeles. 9.5/10! For dessert, we ordered the frutti di bosco, 11/10! It was actually the highlight of the meal if you can believe it - a shortbread pastry base filled with Chantilly cream.... Just so light and perfectly tasty without being too sweet. 100% dreamed of having another slice the days after. If you're in Nashville and looking for breakrfast/brunch, look no further.
