Loved the French toast and Turkish coffee. Not sure but loving her passionate suggestion we went in. It was like walking into a cafe in Zurich Paris or Rome. Server was professional neat and polite. This was our first stop after landing in Nashville and was a great start. The cafe was charming and warm and we were lucky to be seated near a window. Our server was friendly, speedy, and accommodating. We got the Eggs Benedict and Croque Monsieur and both were great. I was a bigger fan of the Eggs Benedict even though the Hollandaise sort of tasted like mayo. The rosemary potatoes were fantastic. We also got a side of chicken sausage and were happy with our choice. For cocktails, I got Paris on Fire, which was an easy drink. This place is located on Demonbreun street between third and fourth. So many incredible choices here and I like that it is fairly quick service. The interior is as European as it gets and the staff is always so pleasant. Pay close attention to the coffee and drinks menu as it offers so many great options. Cafe Intermezzo gives me all the feels. If you're up for brunch, lunch, dinner or dessert they have options for you. We walked in on Christmas Eve morning and were quickly seated. I indulged myself with one of their Belgian waffles with mango toasted coconut. I loved that it wasn't overly sweet and you get a little crunch from the toasted coconut. I have heard such great things about Cafe Intermezzo and have always wanted to try it out. After leaving an event at Bridgestone, we finally decided to stop by for some dessert! It definitely exceeded my expectations. We were able to get a table right away, and when you walk in, there's a big dessert display case which is always exciting. Our waiter was extremely nice and was able to explain some questions we had about the menu. I ended up getting a cappuccino that had hazelnut spread (Nutella) in it, and it was fantastic! We also ordered the hot chocolate Berlin which was the same thing as me just in hot chocolate form. That was also incredible!! Adorable little coffee shop which is very close, in walking distance to the Country Music Hall of Fame. Came over after a great day spent at the music museum and had some amazing coffee, which is one of the best I've had locally. Such a unique and intimate dining experience! Definitely had an old-timey feel and kind of felt like I was transported to France. When walking in, they have a case full of different assortments of cheesecake. The mood lighting was really nice and added to the date night vibe. My chicken florentine crepe was really good and a large portion. I could have finished the entire thing but showed restraint so I wasn't too full. This is the best breakfast spot in Nashville. We waited at a famous pancake spot down the street who shall remain nameless, for over 40 minutes with no end to the wait in sight, on a Monday. Beautiful European-esque cafe located close to Broadway. Perfect location for those traveling and staying in that area. For Nashville natives there is parking across the street that is free for the first hour. As you walk in that is when the magic happens. I was greeted by the staff who were all kind and attentive. Holy crap this was the BEST eats I had on my most recent Nashville trip!! They have an insanely large variety of coffee options to start, both normal selection as well as some that you might never see at most coffee shops - turkish coffee made in the old fashioned way, and an insane number of alcoholic coffee options. It took me quite a while to settle on the alcoholic coffee: "Cappucino la scala" - cappuccino italiano with chocolate and almond liquer. It comes with the alcohol on the side because the waitress explained that they are quite proud of their coffee there... and LET ME TELL YOU. My first sip of that cappuccino and I immediately understood what she meant - it was the best coffee I've had in FOREVER. Perfectly balanced and left me wanting for more. The liquer was also quite tasty to sip, but I did add it into my coffee towards the end. 10/10!! For brunch item, I ordered the egg white omelette and swapped the goat cheese for swiss. It was absolutely delicious!!! All the ingredients tasted extra good, I was shocked but definitely think Nashville has an upper hand when it comes to brunch compared to Los Angeles. 9.5/10! For dessert, we ordered the frutti di bosco, 11/10! It was actually the highlight of the meal if you can believe it - a shortbread pastry base filled with Chantilly cream.... Just so light and perfectly tasty without being too sweet. 100% dreamed of having another slice the days after. If you're in Nashville and looking for breakrfast/brunch, look no further.
