Usually I have a good experience here but today was extremely different and I'm leaving this review to remind myself you get what you pay for. Service was not just moving at the rate of molasses... they asked me to sit down with no intention of getting me in the chair . How do I know this? Because someone came in after me! Before you speculate they had no appt just like me , here's the kicker and was seen within the first 5 mins of them waiting. I had been waiting 15-20 mins on the other hand ... patiently might I add. Very biased and racist!!! They refused to service me because I had a small child .. so are single mothers not welcome??!! Or is it because I am black?? There were clearly other mothers there with their children but did not have my skin color. The guy in the front left seat looked at me and my children with disgust. The owner Nathan is extremely rude and tasteless, which you can see just by his replies to all the other one stars. You walk in and he don't even greet you he immediately say "WASH YOUR HANDS" with a nasty attitude. The customer service here is so awful. The owner is very cocky which I don't get because my first visit there he was begging for a yelp review to keep his business open. You tell him you don't like something and he will literally ignore you. He's very sassy and unprofessional. I've never met a tech that watch SHOWS and get on LIVE while servicing a customer. This is definitely a shop that doesn't want you to have any opinion on your nails when you're spending YOUR money and that's exactly why they gone stay in that lil raggedy nasty ass shop begging for yelp reviews. Walked in and asked to have my acrylic removed and nail cut down, I was going to do a basic manicure since it's last minute. Mind you the business closes down at 7:00pm I walked in at 6:20pm. I also asked for a menu ; since I asked him that The young man at the register tells me "oh yes we have a menu but we are closed." A lady walked right behind me and sure enough was seated. I find that a very unprofessional it's not my first time here I've been here plenty of times which it's surprising that he gave me that sort of treatment just because I asked to see a menu. I will definitely not be coming back to this business anymore, the discrimination I felt was unreal and I don't recommend this place ever again. I would rate 0 stars if I could. I came here along with my friend, who's birthday it is. The first issue was that they purposefully overcharged her $40 FOR ONE HAND when their prices said $35 for a full powder set for BOTH HANDS. The On top of that, they didn't even give her powder, they used acrylic and painted the tips on (which was not what they agreed on). Then DID THE SAME POWDER DESIGN - on the next customer - CORRECTLY. Not only that but the management is extremely unprofessional, the manager - was extremely rude and saying things under his breath - even regarding my outfit , etc. One of the employees began to yell and argue and then changed the price from $60 to $70 to $75 even though I showed a picture with the Exact LENGTH, SHAPE, and DESIGN and they said $65. I would at least expect professionalism from a business who's overcharging . They were the exact opposite of courteous and respectful. THEY THEN CLIPPED OFF my friends nails right on the floor and you can see the picture attached to see what my friend left with ... They didn't even take the residue off of her nails, and were blatantly rude on HER BIRTHDAY. Do not come here if you want good service, professionalism, or even good nail designs as they obviously do not care about the customers concerns. I asked the lady for stiletto shaped nails and she laughed and started talking to the man doing my pedicure about me and my request which is VERY unprofessional AND uncomfortable. She didn't do them. The manager (I think?) helped me out when I wasn't happy with the way the color looked on my own nail because it was very different from the display. She made sure I ended up with the color I wanted and mixed two powders to make my color! She checked in again while Gina was working to make sure I was still happy with my color. So awesome! My mom got a pedicure with Juan and she was also very happy. Very meticulous and kind. $25 is the price of the regular pedicure and that includes callous removal. Ty did my nails and did a ok job. However when it was time to pay I was over charged. The price quoted on the board said that a full set started at $35. Somehow a short almond set became $70. I knew it was because of the prices he asked me about in Waco, however I feel that it is extremely unprofessional to uncharge when the prices are posted. I would have recommended the salon and still do recommend his wife Shirley, however it is not right to try to get over on people. That's the fastest way to lose business. So if you do choose to patronize the business make sure you ask and confirm the price in advance. It was definitely a disappointing experience. Update: the manager replied and as you can see with his other one star reviews apologies just to follow up blaming the customer. Please read the other reviews of the business as I wish I had before patronizing them. Their price wall says something completely different from what the manager has listed below and 20 extra dollar for a white line across each nail??? You tell me if that sounds reasonable. So disappointed in this place. They are not absolutely horrible but they also aren't anything spectacular. Most of the girls from my job go here so I decided to try them out & deeply regret doing so. I went here before going out of town to get an acrylic set (they definitely over charged me), I was there for a good 3, almost 4 hours. When I left, my nails were so big & chunky. I ended up coming back a couple days later (for at least another hour) to have them reshaped & fixed which made them slightly better but I still wasn't 100% happy with them. (I also tipped really well both times). During my vacation the nails looked horrible, they were lifting at the top & bumpy. After I got back from vacation, I was running errands when I noticed the entire pinky nail snapped in half & was missing, (mind you I'm not hard on my hands at all & didn't even feel it come off). I decided to go to my regular nail place to get a pedicure & take off the acrylics. I was so sad & disgusted to see my nails underneath once all the acrylic was off. My are so thin & damaged from Bonita nails that even the tech removing them felt so bad for me & my nails. I have really great nail beds to begin with & now they are ruined. I don't even want to show my hands because my nails look so bad. This has NEVER happened to me. I always switch back & forth from shellac & acrylic & never have my nails looked SO horrible after acrylic removal. I'm not sure what went wrong this time but I highly recommend you go somewhere where the techs actually care about you & your nails-- not how much money they are going to make off you. Absolutely love my nails! I'm usually very picky when it comes to my nails but Nathan got them done just the way I wanted it. Thinness of the nails & even shape/length on ALL fingers. The three of us were getting our nails done and we all just wanted acrylic nails. We were asked if we wanted color powder and we declined.
