i have nothing but praise for Bonney Watson and their staff. We purchased a pre paid plan for my dad, hoping not to have to use it anytime soon. Sadly, he passed away only two months later. i was in shock and needed their help with the arrangement. First, Martice was amazing in helping me with the pre paid plan. Very helpful through the process. Then, I had an appointment to come in after dad died and had to change it due to a family emergency. The receptionist was so nice and rebooked my appointment with Cameron. He was so understanding and walked me through the process and offered other options if I needed them. it was easy, affordable and they take care of the death certificates and had them in record time! No one wants to go through this process, but Bonney Watson's staff are professional, helpful and quite sympathetic. I felt at ease and cared for during the entire time. I hired Bonney Watson to take custody of my decesaased father in 2021. Bonney Watson sent a man named Jonathan Amundsen Jonathan was extremely rude and unprofessional. He was adamant and aggressive in picking my father up and loading him on the cot and also explaning the process. He then outside told everyone loudly "Shit Happens" and then leaves with my father. This location did a great job at making the hardest time for my family worse! They were inconsistent, terrible communication, and worse of all did not preserve my grandmothers body. They didn't embalm her and left her in plastic. I am in utter disbelief and disgust that a team would handle someone's family like this. We had to change funerals Homes to ensure her beauty would be represented at her service! I am disappointed in Joe and Caitlin as they we're terrible and should not be in the line of work! I'm completely disappointed in Bonney Watson Staffs!! Earlier this year my family and I laid my Nephew to rest. My family are still taking the loss of my Nephew pretty hard. We have been going down to his grave site almost everyday. We have been taking "fresh flowers" every other day and also Flowers (fresh flowers) would never last at his gravesite for more than 2 days and always get toss to the trash and vases and pictures of my Nephew left behind by loved one would all end up in the trash by GROUND KEEPERS!! HOW DISRESPECTFUL IS THAT? WE ARE STILL MOURNING THE LOSS OF OUR LOVED ONE!! HAVE SOME RESPECT!! The most hurtful that staffs of Boney Watson done was last week my family had a celebration of my NEPHEW Birthday and also decided to have his head stone made and installed and bless before his Birthday. We spent almost $350 in fresh flowers for his birthday just to come back the following day to be gone (Everything). Seriously we felt so disrespected and hurt!!! What was more hurtful was seeing all his flowers in the trash can. Smh no kind of heart or sympathy for his loved one! We contacted the receptionist/staff and told her what was going on and was told that maybe someone had stole them or maybe they were old flowers like seriously we just seen it in the trash!! Every time we reach out to the staff about the flower situation We end up getting transferred from one staff to another and they take our number down and tell us someone will be in contact with us and never receive a call back. In this case, they should have zero stars or even negative stars to describe the mistreatment our family experienced with Bonney Watson Funeral Home. Mr. Smock and his team completely failed in their customer service. They did not communicate with the family for an extended period of time. The family repeatedly called and sent e-mails to the funeral director for updates, and no one bothered to respond. Mr. Smock finally responded after this very lengthly amount of time, but he took no ownership in their embarrassing lack of customer service and has sent emails denying any acknowledgement their errors. His messages lacked empathy and his emails continued to protect their egregious mishandling of the situation. How unfortunate that he or his organization treat a family in this manner. Of all businesses that should have excellent, even stellar customer service, to see our family receive none is repugnant. I do not know about the pricing as I only went to Grandpas funeral this weekend. But I will say they were very organized, very considerate. They handled the movement of the casket very well and in a respectful manner. When they lowered him down they do not have the family there around the grave site, which actually I thought was a bit better as that may be a bit traumatizing to see that. we watched from the pathway. The only one thing that bothered me a bit is that one of the people there(employees) was texting on his phone near the entrance of the chapel. I know he did not lose anyone but that was a bit inconsiderate. it was just once that I saw him doing it as i didnt pay too much attention .It just caught me off guard, maybe a rule not to have them carry their personal phones. read more

My review is based solely on having a difficult time locating the grave of a relative I know to be interred there. In an age when on-line grave locaters is fairly normal, B-W doesn't even suggest on its website how to go about it, much less have the capability itself. I didn't not spot anything that resembles a map of the cemetery on-line either. Thank goodness for Find-A-Grave that at I least know she is there. read more

I had lost my brother two months prior but had him taken to another funeral home in Auburn. I had him cremated and they have him back to me in a box in a nice bag. To months later my mom passed away and we had her taken to Bonny Watson which was closer to my. They told me I had to bring my own box to take her home, which we were going to sprinkle her ashes, so we didn't need an urn they were trying to sell me. And then days later after I pay them they asked me to send a picture of her so they can verify who she is before they cremate her. Well they're all supposed to have tags on them and I didn't understand the picture part. But I sent one. But it wasn't till I checked my bank and I saw I paid $1,000 more then I paid for my brother that had the same exact thing done. I was very disappointed and called them and disputed it but they say they take better care and when I mentioned the picture part they said that is to verify as a second verification to be sure so he had an answer to everything. But I wasn't buying it. I think they overcharged and take advantage of people losing their loved ones and I feel like I was taken advantage of. They did the same exact thing they did for my brother but charged me an extra $1,000 and I want it them to compensate me for some of that but it wasn't going to happen so I told him I will put it out there for others to know about. This is not a time to look around for inexpensive places when you are hurting you just sign the papers and I feel like they take advantage of our despair at that moment. For all the people that are dying from this virus and other reasons and people are losing jobs there's a lockdown they should bring their prices down to accommodate people that are going through hardship. So I was not impressed with this company whatsoever. read more

My Parents are both interned here. They are in a niche in front of the Military section, so the only place I have to put flowers is a shared vase in front of the niche or on the ground. I go there weekly. ( Try to drive thru as well to see how long my plants stay.) Since Christmas, when "someone" took the Christmas tree I had made myself, actually used it for seven years until this past Christmas Since then the flowers I left have gone "missing" 19 times. Often even when I go the very next day....They wilt in one day if I put fresh flowers, well maybe that's better than someone taking them all the time.
