Chili cheese hot dog + slaw

Pulled up to Bonnie's Grill and instantly loved the 50's diner vibe! super nostalgic and fun. The owner's definitely a big Bills fan, which adds some personality to the place. I went with the chili cheese dog and a side of coleslaw. The hot dog was solid, but the coleslaw didn't quite hit the mark for me. My partner built her own cheeseburger, added bacon, and paired it with fries...she really enjoyed it! Overall, a cool spot to grab a bite. I'd definitely go back.

My burger was great, my girlfriend on the other hand ordered Gf bun for 2 extra bucks. We got a piece of burnt sandwhich bread. Grub hub did provide refund tho, so I'll give em that.

A classic, simple diner experience. They have a great hot dog meal (that comes with 2 hot dogs) that is perfect for splitting. It was fun to sit at the bar and watch the food getting grilled!

After all these years, Bonnie's still slaps. Love sitting at the counter and ordering a burger. Kind of a diner feel with great wings, sandwiches, and always fresh fries! Service was great and food was served quickly.

AMAZING FOOD!! it's amazing how you can watch them make your delicious food on the grill. They make everything from scratch and fresh!! Which makes everything better. The service is great they're very attentive and patient. It's a nice old vibe in there such as back in the days. Your good ol local burger spot. The burgers were great, my grilled sandwich was superb I've never had it like this before! The wings were superb super spicy and tasteful

Okay.. I LOVE bonnies grill. My partner and I have come here a couple times now and the food is reliably delicious. Fries always come out super crispy, and meat is very high quality. While last time we ordered the ribs (delicious), this time we chose to go with a burger. It was perfectly cooked (medium rare) and had the perfect amount of toppings on it. All in all, I suspect you can't go wrong with any menu item here. The interior has a cool retro vibe - it's quite small so I've seen it pretty busy, but have also had no problem getting a spot in off hours. The cooking area is also behind the bar in the middle of the restaurant, and we really enjoy sitting at the bar and watching them make all the delicious food that they serve. Staff is also friendly. I'm a huge fan of bonnies grill and am looking forward to coming back and trying more of their food.

I've been here three times after my first review of Bonnie's Grill. I came with more people this time around after me bragging about the wings this place is serving up. Of course, we order the wings. I can not resist those. This time around, we got to try the wings special. We tried sweet chili lime and honey siracha. Both were delicious. They each have a nice settle spice to it. We ordered the Bavarian Soft Pretzels. The pretzels were nice, soft, and warm. The burgers always taste delicious. We ordered onion rings. They were nice and crispy and we ordered the smores milkshake and cookies and cream one. We enjoyed the cookies and cream milkshake better. If you're in the park slope area looking for some good wings and food, make your way to Bonnie's Grill. Hands down, they have the best wings.

The Espresso Martini was bold and smooth, and the Heatwave Margarita had this creamy tropical quality that was really unique. Food-wise, the Smoked Salmon Plate with soda bread was a delish, first time trying soda bread and it was a solid pairing with the dish. The Asparagus & Spring Pea Quiche was hearty, savory and golden crusted perfection. But the star? The French Toast, sitting in a warm maple sauce topped with a cloud of cream. Had a welcoming and upbeat server, but the service was general slower and not rushed, 2.5hr for our meal. I was excited as the dishes sounded unique and promising but a lot of them fell short: The egg tonnato didn't have much flavor, the herb oil only adding a slightly grassy taste. I was excited for the hiramasa crudo, but it was bland and one note, even the mild pomelo overpowered the fish because of how little flavor. Fried anchovies were tasty and paired well with sage but the portion is so small for the price. What went well: sea bass was very well cooked, very soft, flaky, well flavored. Was under salted but I could add that myself. The pork was also well cooked, tender, generous portion of meat that paired well with the cherry. We finished off with the burnt caramel tart, which had a good flavor although the texture was on the softer side. I don't think the creme fraise really complemented it, but still tasty. There were some good dishes and Sailor is a vibe, but the price point and what we received I'm not sure if I'd return for a meal.

The atmosphere really sets it apart--those soaring ceilings and massive windows create an airy, open feel that's perfect for daytime drinking, and the sports decor adds character without being over the top. Despite being a sports bar (I'm sure it gets lively during Knicks playoff games), it was surprisingly family-friendly during our visit. We saw several other families, including one with a small baby, and the vibe was welcoming and chill. It wasn't crowded, so we could sit wherever we wanted. On this visit, we tried the deviled eggs, french fries, and Sonoran dog, all of which were tasty and came out impressively fast. The drinks are solid too: my Negroni was well-made, and they have well-priced beers and decent cocktails throughout. Daily specials make it even more budget-friendly. The staff is friendly and laid-back, which matches the overall vibe. Bonus points for being dog-friendly with a sidewalk patio, and the hours (weekdays 3-11pm, weekends 12-11pm) work well for both afternoon hangs and evening plans. Super convenient if you're hitting up BAM.

A server zipped passed me with some goodies that I must try. I'll be back.
