    Chicken Pozole

Ordered lunch from here, came to Yelp first but saw they had a bunch of flagged reviews lol ok well this is a real one. Got a Mushroom burger with Swiss deluxe and was very happy with it. The burger itse;lf was not a pre formed frozen patty but good, fresh ground beef. Cooked exactly how I asked (medium rare) so that the juices soaked the bun. (hungry yet?) the mushrooms were plentiful and seasoned well. The fries were good, crisp diner fries. They also have a lot of Mexican specialties and my friend got the chicken quesadilla and was very happy and her son got Chicken fingers and a picky eater cleaned his plate.

Best Salad I've had in a while. Each item in the salad offered a delicious taste. Mango salad with broiled shrimp I had never had before. Definitely worth a try.

Breakfast burrito simply amazing. The coffee like the atmosphere are both perfect. I highly recommend you eat here.

Beautiful food. Fresh apple salad with walnuts cranberries dark leafy lettuce and everything you could imagine. Of course the chicken quesadilla didn't hurt either. They also brought a set of tostadas (mmm) baked potato with vegetables and cheese and a very generous helping of fruit and cottage cheese. Delivery is always on point (the guy is a sweetheart) which is a big help to people during the week. This is the kind of place that takes care of New York. There really is something for everyone here, and REAL food. What a fantastic find.

Expensive beyond belief. $22 per o person for one breakfast of pancakes, sausage, eggs and toast.

I highly recommend getting an assortment of dips and small plates - 2-3 dishes per person was just right for us. I can't pick a favorite item of the evening: The Israeli Salad Hummus was some of the best/most flavorful hummus I've had, the Whipped Ricotta was perfect and so fluffy, and the Matbucha & Labne are also great additions to the table. They make a really good Falafel here, and the Crispy Cauliflower were perfectly crispy and well-sauced. The Chocolate Babka dessert is a great way to end your meal, and they do make a solid espresso martini for those wondering. The only thing I was not a fan of is their drink menu - all of the cocktails are spicy or smoky. Although you can sub out different alcohols, it would be nice to have a few other options.

But in this case I have to point out for a $18 chicken skewer that had 4 tiny pieces of chicken that tasted like vinegar was completely absurd. The Merguez humus was ok at $19. The babagabush was good but at $14 was a tiny portion. Waiter was friendly but took our order and didn't see again until end of meal when asked for check. If you are going to charge premium prices at least have service that you would expect from a higher end establishment.

We were not drunk or loud and we were sitting outside so genuinely could not have done anything to bother her. At the end of the night she looks at us and says "you guys can go" in the sassiest tone because she needed to clean up outside. There were so many other ways to approach that topic but she chose the rudest possible way. So here is her tip: Do NOT work a customer service job if you can't even pretend to be kind. We came in on a Monday night, delightfully busy but not too full and were able to just really sit and relax without feeling rushed so that was much appreciated. Drinks ordered: Rosemary Negroni (Mezcal Negroni with a bit more sweetness) and Sicilian Daiquiri (refreshing, citrus but definitely one for those who prefer sweet drinks). Both were enjoyed. Food was a little hit and miss: The Smoked Salmon Deviled eggs were interesting but I don't think I'd order them again. The Burger & Fries were good, but we thought both were over salted and weren't too big a fun of the large tomato on the burger, though without it I think the bun would have been too hard.
