Had a fantastic time here for brunch and what made it so great really was the service! The women working Easter Sunday were so attentive and funny and knowledgeable about the menu which made it such a nice experience. The ambiance of the place is quaint yet industrial, gave a cozy vibe on a rainy Sunday. Would definitely some here again!

Stopped by this place for an early dinner. At first i was disappointed that their menu had changed from what I saw here on yelp, but i had the chicken sandwich and it was amazing. They were very accommodating to my friend's need for a burger - unsmashed. ... what is up with this smashed burger trend anyway - is that a way to not have to worry about meat temp ? but they left it unsmashed for her and the temp was spot on. the ambience was very nice. dim lighting. cool vibes. and i can go to a bar and not drink - sue me.

If Fort Greene were identified by an arrondissement number rather than its English name, then Endswell would be the petit zinc of the quarter - a perfect bistro for an evening glass of natty wine and a bite or two, should you live in the neighborhood. The otherwise fairly standard bistro cheeseburger is made more exciting by the use of a gooier raclette cheese rather than you standard slice of American or cheddar - I opted for the vegetarian variety, which they thankfully have on offer.

We came across this place while walking around. Everyone seems to be enjoying their food. We have the truffle popcorn and it was really good and the charcuterie board as well. Definitely coming back to try their other menu items.

I really like this place. I enjoyed my first visit. It is well lit with an art mural on the well. I ordered from their cocktail menu although there is a full bar. I got a cucumber type cocktail and listened to music. It began to get crowded . It is a nice stop after a friend gathering, dinner or a place to go during a bar hop. I liked the ambiance and the cocktail was tasty

Stopped by for a pre dinner cocktail and had one of the best espresso martinis I've ever had. It has notes of orange and vanilla. They offer a happy hour until 7 on weekdays with specials on both drinks and bar snacks.

Service 100% Decor and ambiance 100% Drinks 100% (try the noir!) Food... I ordered salmon tartare, and it was extremely underwhelming. I don't want to be mean, so I'll save you the details. Just know that it wasn't fresh, and I returned it to the kitchen and ordered fries instead. The fries were perfect! I asked two ladies to comment on their mussels, and they said it was delicious, so perhaps I just had bad luck with the salmon tartare. Overall, I'd return for the chill vibe, decor, drinks, and fries.

This is not Biggie's Brooklyn. Endswell is probably best described as French or American French fusion maybe? Tucked away across from the Biggie mural and the Brooklyn Love building, this space shows how Brooklyn has changed, gentrification and all. That being said, I found easy street parking and had a great visit. I had the steak frites medium. Cooked appropriately with hot and crispy fries, I do wish there was a little more seasoning. Other mains included squash risotto, mussels, salmon, coq au vin, and more. They have a small appetizer menu with something for everyone, and I wish I had ordered the smoked trout deviled eggs. They have a great looking brunch menu too, though I obviously didn't try that. The cocktails were the stars! So light, refreshing, delicious. The menu is divided into bold & boozy, bright & balanced, crisp & cool, rich & regal, and seasonal. I had: Lumier spritz (for gin & tonic drinkers) with gin, lime, peychauds, tonic, cucumber, mint bouquet, and pink peppercorn. Pois (for margarita drinkers) with mezcal, genepy, snap pea, and lime. La Colombe (for Paloma drinkers) with mezcal, pear brandy, grapefruit, ginger, lime, and horse radish. And the cocktail of the week, bartenders choice. I can't remember which drink it was, but I loved it too! Service was fast and efficient and accommodating. Sorry, Biggie, but I did like this place, even if it probably wouldn't be your style.

This is the cutest spot! They have mixologist so your drink will be perfection. Wide range of cocktails and sports available. Small intimate space cute for a date night. The music was amazing! Food came out fast and it was perfect. From the steak, fries, octopus and salmon. I was with people who are the the biggest fans of French food, but with the variety and combinations you can truly please anyone. It's the little things, like French fries, that were so perfect you eat them all even beyond full. The steak was cooked perfectly to medium with right amount of seasonings. Salmon was tender, flavorful and juicy. Not over done at all. I will return for sure

Your typical hipster restaurant/bar where it seems like good reviews are taken back from great vibes/service/ and decor. However, food and drinks really fall short. I wanted to try some French in New York and thought this fusion would be interesting. Little did I know, it was definitely 99% American and not very French. The onion soup was uneditable due to how bad the onion ratio was. You could bite into a raw onion and it would taste better. The steak was very subpar, and the lamb had no taste and was very firm. I thought at least the drinks would be it's saving grace. However, the drinks were either too spicy, too sweet, or very unbalanced. This has been the only place in New York that I had a bad drink. 3 stars because although the food and drinks were very mediocre, the service was wonderful and the restaurant itself was very nice and presentable. If you try here, definitely just do drinks as the food is not worth, but there are so many more places around to do that.

I've made it a point to visit every vinyl listening bar that I learn of in town, after enjoying the shared experience of someone curating a select vinyl list in intimate spaces in Tokyo. Few have been able to replicate the experience, but Honeycomb Hi Fi Lounge comes close. That the space is narrow with just a few seats along the bar and a few tables mimics the Japanese experience best, where you can almost have it so the whole room is having one conversation together. The music is the focus. The cocktail menu is rather simple, and my Stormbringer drink, with dark rum and ginger beer was not anything to write home about, but $15 is pretty low for cocktails these days so I'll take it. If they introduced new cocktails to the menu with more interesting ingredients I'd be more inclined to return, but the vibes overall are pretty good and the staff really nice.

Was brought here by a dear friend, a neighborhood regular…read more The cocktail was amazing, selection very diverse- many hard-to-find liquors, etc. Bartender was incredibly knowledgable and attentive. My friend and I each order a cocktail, and are catching up. I'm from Brooklyn, however I no longer live here, and this was precious catch-up time with my friend. Then I get interrupted mid-sentence by the old-timer DJ from his low seat in a corner behind the bar. I had bumped the bar with my wrist (bumped my wrist watch as well, not deliberately) and then placed my hand down (granted- more than placed but definitely not slammed), and he decided to warn me that I COULD HAVE made his record skip. It was the Eagles or Santana (far from eclectic, but that's just me). I'm also 99% certain he turned the volume up afterwards, making it even harder to enjoy the company. After that interaction, I struggled to pick it back up with my friend, because I found that distraction very effing rude. When this "4th wall" gets broken down with service, it is hard to then enjoy the space in an uninhibited state. I am all for the Tokyo Vinyl Bar vibe, and I'm also for also giving talent an outlet to share their collection, but this interaction colored my experience, and I closed out after one drink and went elsewhere. I mentioned this to the bartender, and he was kind to offer a buy-back of a rare whiskey, which I did accept. 5 stars for the bartender, but 1 for my experience. I don't like to be harsh or unnecessarily cruel, but this is what it is. I have visited in the past and enjoyed myself. Nonetheless, I certainly won't be coming back.

Unfortunately this place fell very flat. Leading with what we liked: Their mocktail offerings were good, promising a 0.0% ABV which is hard to come across when mocktails are offered. They serve oysters, which adds to that aphrodisiac experience of the oh so 'wow this is a former brothel!'. The bartenders and servers were fast and very sociable with the more sociable customers. The immediate entrance is very tight, and it was uncomfortable navigating the space. We expected there'd be more seating in the back, which there was, but it was limited and not offered to us until we asked for it. We honestly had no clue where it would be and only asked because of how this place was advertised. While it was comfy once we made our way back there, it was reminiscent of a lounge style bar space that almost any bar could replicate with the right room and budget. We didn't feel as though this hit the spot and were let down by this experience. I'm not sure if I can judge the menu of drinks/ foods as expensive, but we left hungry bc we couldn't justify some of the prices. In addition, I've seen a lot of complaints about the volume of the music: it's definitely loud at the front but a lot lower in that back lounge space. It's as loud as any bar's music level would be, but truth be told we were expecting music that matched the vibe of what was advertised and yes, at a lower volume.
