Came here on a Sunday afternoon to watch the Bill's playoff game (woo! and also, boo!). I got here about 40 minutes early and it immediately started to fill up. The space doesn't have that many tables & it definitely isn't great for large crowds. People ended up having to stand along the most narrow part of the bar to stay and watch the game. The service was great considering there were only 2 people serving and so many customers. I felt like they were friendly and consistently checking in and anticipating your needs. I read somewhere online that the Buffalo wings at Bonnie's were quite good. To my surprise, the spicy wings here far exceeded the American standard of spiciness and have created a tear-dripping, sweat-inducing dining experience for me. Even when the waiter kindly reiterated: "Are you sure you want spicy?" My brave friend and I quickly confirmed our spicy order, both thinking our above-average tolerance for spicy food would help us breeze through our order of twenty spicy wings. What a big mistake that was! Although the fairly large wings were quite delicious, I surrendered after my fourth wing. Came here on a Saturday night and immediately got a seat for 2, quite honestly, we were surprised. We came here exactly for the same reason as why you're reading this review: draft beers and a full rack of baby back ribs. (who need greens right?) After 20 minutes of beer-versations, the ribs came rustic brown, easy-off-bone tender and juicy hot. The bbq sauce was intense, but went down well with their draft lager beer. Awesome wings!!! with a fair amount of kick to em. The spiced burger (house special) was suuuper juicy, cooked perfectly (MR) and piled high with all the trimmings. In retrospect, 20 wings to start and my friend and I each having the burger, was probably more than we needed to order... Both of us left in a good food coma pain. The brisket and sloppy joes will be on the docket for the next trip. The cole slaw is a must to cut the heat from the burger and wings. After working all day on the 4th of July I was craving a burger and fries. I placed for pickup as stated it would be earlier than 2 hr delivery time plus fee. 45 minutes after I called and they said the delivery was no available at the time since it was put in on the wrong customer. I ordered one burger plain . Nothing extra. So I called and the lady was kind enough to ask if it could be addressed.. no was the answer. She said she could cancel and would on her end so I would not be charged. Here we are, almost a week later and nothing till I just reached out to Grubhub. I ordered the wings, mild, and an order of fries. The wings were crunchy, which I love, and is hard to find, and the fries were shoestring which not many places offer anymore. The small order of wings comes with ten (10) wings, celery, carrots and blue cheese dressing. I am a wings person, which means that your wings have to be cooked just right for me to say they are good; therefore, I can wholeheartedly say that Bonnie's wings are great! Bonnie's has really taken a sharp turn for the worse. I remember first trying it and liking it, but this must be before they threw in the towel. Service was below average, but the food was downright untouchable last time. The kitchen seemed to have been backed up despite there not being a wait whatsoever, some things came out cold, lazily thrown together, and the wings were undercooked and tasted awful. It arrived quickly and was cooked to perfection. But... there was no bacon and only five onion rings. So the order wasn't right and the onion rings were a ripoff at a price of, I'd guess, $2 each. We walked in & sat at the counter I went with a Chicken sandwich with avocado & fries, very good sandwich the chicken has that great "grill" taste even better when adding some of the chipotle mayo chicken was juice & very flavorful. Great fries, gotta add some chipotle mayo as well washed it all down with a Coke hard to go wrong. My friend had a Burger with bacon, onions & jalapeños also with fries, great tasting burger. As I mentioned before sitting at the bar u get a nice front row seat to the cooking didn't realized last time that pretty much everything they make they make it on the spot, everything from the burgers, sandwiches & fries to the wings & Mac & cheese granted a lot of the food is fried but with the meats being grilled it's great to know that everything is fresh. I decide to up he stars simple because I thought the sandwich & burger were better than the wings, wings are not bad don't get me wrong but food was definitely better for me. We ended our meal with complimentary cookies I had the Oatmeal raisin very good, my friend had the Chocolate chip also good. Food is comparable to diner quality. We ordered the plant based beyond burger which we have had many times from other locations. The burger was cooked to long as the ends were crunchy. The bun engulfed the burger so I ended up tearing off most of the bun to eat the burger. Employees were nice, restaurant has 6/7 tables and bar seating. read more
