The quality of service has gone down dramatically given our most recent experience. The sweet tea is so weak it really wasn't work 50 cents and of course it cost much more. Customers used to be the King, Queen, Prince and Princess in the facility but not tonight. Everything seemed to be totally disorganized to include the bill paying process. The burgers were good, the onion rings were hot but tasted a bit fishy. Not sure if we will return anytime soon. read more

The wait staff all seemed disgruntled. Our waitress clearly either isn't happy in life or simply doesn't care for her chosen occupation. The food takes forever to be cooked and when it's brought out it's lukewarm. My meal was incorrect. Instead of apologizing the waitress wanted to argue with me. I ordered a dinner not a sandwich. The dinner came with a salad which was brought out signaling she did understand I wanted the dinner, but when the sandwich came out she argued. All my gripes have been addressed and I'm happy to report I'm a big B-A-D fan again. If you want a great old school cheeseburger this is the place. I ordered the Diner Double. It's two quarter pound beef patties smashed and grilled to crispy tender perfection. No uniformed processed patty here. It's the real beef deal. I added American cheese, bacon, and jalapenos. I'm a fully dressed with mustard guy. The tomato, onion, pickles and lettuce was a perfect amount. Nice job on the hamburger bun as well. Juicy, beefy, with those veggies and the mild, flavorful jalapenos mixing in just right. The two full strips of legit bacon! I'm going to need one of these at least once a week! I had the fried pickles with their house ranch for a great side with the burger. read more

Sadly, my favorite breakfast place has gone from 4.5 stars to 1. Why you ask. Well the company has not treated a good manager well, and she left. It was running so well. We were in on Saturday and it took over an hour to get our food. We saw two tables leave that were tired of waiting. We saw other regulars and when talking to them, said the new management was having trouble in the kitchen. And have been for the last two weeks. We were used to getting our food within two minutes. We love Boomerang. Great diner food at excellent prices. It's our favorite breakfast food in Owasso. Service can be slow if there's only one server that day, but always friendly. Sausage patties are our favorite! Beans and cornbread and burgers are also good. read more

I tried boomerang diner the other day, and it was really good. I thought they were just a local diner, but found out that they have several locations throughout the state of Oklahoma. Several are along historic route 66. They have a wide variety of foods, and they can add flavor to your drink, like cherry in your Dr Pepper. I recommend their fried pickles. If the server is good here If You get good server here as we have many times can be five stars. If your server isn't so great it's probably two or three stars.
