This place sucks. Rather than resolve customer issues, this place will mess you over! I'll never go back to this place again. My brother had provided the waiter a $100 dollar bill and stated, "I'll buy the patio a round of shots if the Cowboys win". This was with about 8 mins left in the game. Then the waiter took it upon himself to go ahead and start handing out shots, totaling 20 shots, before the game was over. Anyone that watched knows the Cowboys lost. Rather than hold the waiter accountable for his actions, the mangement staff added the 20 shots to the tab. But gave the $100 back. My brother called the police out cause he refused to pay for the shots based on how this all had transpired. There were also witnesses that overheard my brother, the customer, say he would by a round of shots "IF" the Cowboys won. Murphy PD comes out and tells the customer, "it's a civil matter, nothing we can do"! However, tell the customer he has to pay the tab or be taken to jail for theft! What a shitty way to do business! Way to go BoomerJacks! If this is how you treat customer's, you should stay in business a long, long time! Meh. Food is low on the scale for typical bar food. Drinks were weak, even for me.. and I rarely drink. Seemed understaffed as well, although it was a weeknight. They also got our order wrong. They have a definite fly issue. As we were sitting next to the door, we were not concerned with a pesky fly that was buzzing around our table. By the end of the meal, there were 5 or 6 flies. We called over the manager to complain. She only said "Yes, we know. We had the exterminator out and they are coming again tomorrow". She offered no apology. We were a party of 4 and she should have been concerned about bad press. Since we were seated near the window and they knew they had a problem, those tables should have been closed off. This was my go-to because of the staff and location. The manager walks the floor and keeps everyone happy. Just off the patio there's a lot of space to park motorcycles, and it's never been an issue. Met a friend for lunch here and ordered the California chicken sandwich. Comes with a side of fries. I tried the fries and they were flat-out soggy and on the cooler side of warm. I mentioned it to our server. She explained that they "aren't into crispy fries" there at Boomer Jack's, then offered to bring me some that were cooked longer (hinting that they would be burnt). This was her best offer, I declined. Sandwich was completely unremarkable. Twelve bucks down the drain. If you are going after work for drinks and a game, this may be the place! If you were one of those people like me who had a meltdown when Bennigans closed because you could no longer get the Turkey O'Tool or the Monticristo well Uh,,,, they both found a new home at Boomer Jacks. For that alone they get 5 stars. They have a great patio and bar, sports on about 15 screens. So im loving this place. I'm just a old family dude with two young girls so the waitress outfits are probably a little too short for everyone but me in my family but I ain't complaining. Food was horrible. I ordered the pork chops. One was grilled and very dry. The other was fried and over cooked. The batter fell off and did not stick to the chop. The macaroni tasted like great value box mac n cheese. The mashed potatoes were probably old because they weren't good either. Waiting woman is warm like banya but is saying "no problem" too much. Vodka was cold and Olga like it very much. Weekday specials make BoomerJack's worthwhile visit on evenings. I live about 10 mins from Boomer Jack's Murphy location and NEVER knew it! So, I think my first comment would be, they should think about advertising to the surrounding communities. 2ND comment, When we arrived, we were greeted by a young lady. She took us to our seat while she was giving us our menu's I asked how long they have been here? She stumbled around for an answer then said, she has only worked there for a month, and "if I was really that curious" I could ask the waitress..... Wow! 3RD comment, The waitress had NO personality what so ever, I'm not looking for song and dance but, dang! ( this is why I had to give them 3 stars) We ordered the onion strings- AVERAGE. We also ordered the Chicken Caesar Wrap- AMAZING! It came with a wonderful parmesan/ranch dipping sauce that was out of this world GOOD! Ohh! It comes with a choice of a side, we chose the fried mushrooms ( my cousin LOVES mushrooms ;)) I had one and it was probably the best fried mushroom I've ever had... I don't care for them fried because the batter is always NASTY. The best way I can describe this batter is to tell you it was like "chicken fried steak" batter.Let's get back to the wrap... Heehee..it was filled with REAL grilled chicken, romaine lettuce ( not that flavorless iceberg.. Yuck!) and grated parmesan cheese. I think they have 4-5 different wrap choices. Probably my last visit to this location. Their list of "specialty beers" is average, but then when you take away the beers that are listed, but not actually carried, it becomes anything but special. Out of the 10 craft beers on the menu only five were actually on tap. This is not the first time this has been the case. Apparently this location believes there is no need for a quality IPA, a good stout, or even a simple pale ale. The location near AT&T Stadium in Arlington has a much better offering. Too bad, because the food is decent and the amount of TVs make it a tempting choice to watch sporting events and I live nearby. read more

Well, I have had two things there so far. The Monte Christo is excellent, a crispy outer shell with assign excellent raspberry jam to dip. The fries here may be my favorite of all time, they have this crispy seasoning on them, I would go just for the fries. The wings were standard fare but still good. This review is based only two to-go orders, but all I can say is what is with the soggy under-cooked french fries?? Twice, we ordered chicken fingers and fries to go. The first time, I thought we just got a bad, hurried side of fries. The second time, they were exactly the same. I read another review on here talking about the same thing. They taste good, but really, I don't want to eat food that I don't feel like they couldn't be bothered to finish preparing. Please fix this, BoomerJack's. This is our neighborhood gathering place. Been going since it opened. Loved it. Loved the patio. Loved the prices. Tonight our drinks are totally monitored. Only 3 per hour per person. Which isn't a horrible rule but I've never been anywhere that told I couldn't drink unless I was incapacitated which has never happened. I ordered a short beer. Husband a tall. 15 min later, we ordered a double shot that we share and both sip on. I guess it was bout 50 min and I asked for another short beer and was denied because I had verbally ordered the double shot and so my hour wasn't up. Really? He said DoorDash handles the entire transaction so he cannot refund my money although he is taking full responsibility for his employees lack of training to read their machine correctly. I ordered my food at 9:30 pm cst. It is now 10:30 pm cst. If I were to reorder my food I would be eating at 11:30 pm cst if I'm lucky. The first girl who answered the phone said I can come pick up my food or come pick up my food. I didn't even know what to say other than I'd like to speak to your manager. If my leg weren't broken, I'd be more than happy to come pick up my food or come pick up my food. However, my leg is broken so I cannot, hence the DoorDash order. I would like my money back. I would like my entire order refunded in the amount of 24.88. I will not be ordering from this establishment again, we're throwing this food away. read more

The turkey was the same as I get from the grocery store with cheese and the only thing ok was the pretzel bun. The fried pickles were very good and the only positive thing that came from this visit. The service could have been much better but was not totally awful. My wife ordered the baked potato soup. First off, it came after we asked several times where it was and the rest of the party was almost done with our meal. Finally, a good sports bar in the area. I hear a lot of complaints about the girls and what they wear here and it is no worse than what most girls their age are wearing at the mall. I saw families with young children and older folks that didn't seem to mind the attire. Tank Tops and shorts or jeans, that's what you're going to get. If your looking for something more, you'll have to go to Twin Peaks or hooters. All and all, I am happy to have another choice in Murphy for food, beer and maybe a game on one of the many flat screen TVs they have. They are requesting to expand the patio so, that will be nice as well.
